I really like the concept, fits the theme perfectly :)

I really like the concept, fits the theme perfectly :)
I had a hard time understanding how clicks work, and why the counter doesn't decreases when you do it the nice way :sweat_smile: Pretty unexpected and well made! :thumbsup:
@evan-overly I didn't mean that I want to play in my browser, I'm totally fine with desktop games (mine is one). I was just saying that strangely I got an installation wizard when I ran the game. It's maybe related to Unity, I don't really know. I removed it from my comment since it may scary some potential players :wink: *(was: "PS: WTF why do we have to install the game?!")*
Also, I just tested the Linux version, it works well :) (don't forget to `chmod +x`)
500 points and counting ;)
I like you 3D models, and cool ending screen :) The game is too simple, you should have added something to increase the difficulty, like maybe a speed penalty, or no object respawn close to the altar, ...
How to run it in a [Python 3 virtual environment](https://docs.python.org/3/library/venv.html): ``` git clone git@github.com:xlambein/ldjam43.git cd ldjam43 python3 -m venv ./venv source ./venv/bin/activate pip3 install pyxel python3 main.py ```
I really like the concept of the game, and the result is quite nice :thumbsup:
@xlambein Avec plaisir :grin: But I don't guarantee that this is the best way to build a virtual environment ^^ These are the commands I use when I want to quickly test things. For a more serious project I would really encourage you to learn [Pipenv](https://pipenv.readthedocs.io/en/latest/). PS: These are Linux commands, I don't (want to) know how to do on Windows. PPS: Change `python` to `python3` and `pip` to `pip3`. I updated my comment with cleaner commands.
I love the concept, it's a nice memory game :) I really like the aesthetics and animations :)
However, the game is quite hard: you can't retry to find the objects. In my first run I spent quite some time to do it intelligently and remember where I put things, but then I didn't succeed to open boxes (^^' just **hold** right click), died and everything was lost. I reused the same letters for the objects, but it takes some time to wait for the good letter to show up. Sadly, this reduces the replayability a lot!
I agree with @vasco-freitas, it's fun to read people's reactions :) I played it 4 times to test the endings :) I really like the character models, and the TTS idea works quite well :)
I like the idea, and the result is really nice! :) It takes some time to know how each colored-arrow work, but I guess it adds spice to the game. And it is also quite hard to count and predict the directions when there are 6 pets going everywhere ^^ For the last level it was trial error, one arrow at a time ;) Love the music and graphics :)
Nice game! I can't test with a friend right now, so it's easy until rotating lasers arrive: it's impossible to move two players alone ^^'
PS: Rate other games to get ratings. Your game nice it would be a shame to get only 1 rating ;)
Cute game :) I also got this strange deforming bug(?)(*). I collected all the cogs, but I don't really know if there is something more to do ^^ And like @blodyavenger I don't really know what slow-down is for (PS: it doesn't slow down rotating cogs)
(*) ooookkkkk it's not a bug ^^ but that's really weird! Looks like a bug ^^'
Wave 5 :grin: Like @figglewatts, nice protection game :) I really like the graphics and the music :)
I wonder why zombies walk offscreen before going to the altar ^^
Oh wait! I forgot about weapons! Yes indeed, I only saw classic zombies. I tried to go after wave 5 but I'm not good enough :sweat_smile:
73! Nice graphics :) I like the concept, and it works quite well :) The ball is quite hard to control though :/
When the game started I was like "ok something will creep on me" [no spoil] I quite liked it, but I wonder if I finished it because there were no end screen, only return to the main menu.
I think you could have done the whole game in the forest, because the graphic styles of the forest and of the dungeon are different, and I prefer in the forest ;)
Super hard, I wasn't expecting to have to think before loosing all my tanks but one ^^' I really like the design of the tanks :)
1689.1, poor F key! Cute game... as long as you don't eat your friends :sweat_smile: I would have liked a "brake" or "stop" mechanism because we lose a lot of time to eat when the health is low. And... how do the sled move forward after we ate Happy? :stuck_out_tongue:
Hum... It's fun to kick things around, but I didn't understand if we have to carry things to end or what is really the objective :sweat_smile: Maybe you can add it to the description? :)
Fun game :) The difficulties are well done! :) You could have worked a little bit more on the visual aspect of the tutorial, but it's not a big deal.
I didn't get how to rock jump, but I found how to ladder-cheat-death :grin:
Fun game though :) Hit boxes are a bit strange, but we get used to it :)
It is super hard to play! I didn't go really further than the checkpoint :sweat_smile: Nice music :)
I quite like the idea, but during the first run I thought it was a quick-typing context :sweat_smile: Then I realized that you can anticipate the commands and it's easier to play. I only finished the second level though. Graphics are quite nice, but not coherent overall: the background has its own style, so do the player/friends and traps/yellow-ish-blocks.
I think a tutorial is missing, or maybe just hints here and there. +1 for the restart.
Good job! :)
PS: "syop", noooooooooooooooooo, dead.
Out of my way, Icecube! :fire:
Cute game :) I like the concept of losing life to open doors/kill enemies, but it would have been better to design the level such as it's doable without killing much ice cubes.
Some remarks: the fireball isn't centered so it's hard to aim ice cubes. And you can wall jump pretty easily, the game becomes simpler when you can just walk on walls :joy:
Thanks you all for the nice comments :)
@papercookies @game-coder28 @berkin @glimaleite I thought it was enough to hint for the mouse with no enemy around, guess I was wrong :sweat_smile: I edited the game description with the controls.
@glimaleite Yeah, especially since I have zero drawing skills ^^' But I really wanted to do the compo :)
@xlambein It's sad I couldn't find your previous Rust game ^^'
@ratrat44 thanks you :)
@jandourek I'm glad you liked the captions :) I tried to make sacrificing the Hums less painful ;)
Thanks again for all your great comments :smiley: I tried to address all your remarks in a small post-LD update. Some changes: - Level 2, the comment is now: “LMB, RMB or R to restart”. - New level that showcases how to make a useful sacrifice. - The last level is now more difficult.
Check out on the description :arrow_up: for more details and download link :slight_smile:
(you should receive a notification if you mentioned that this game should have a tutorial)

@kippllo You're right about S and D, and in fact it's ZQSD (french keyboard) that move the camera around. I wrote it because I initially wanted bigger levels, but I didn't find how to make a good gameplay with a moving camera, and I never removed it ^^' but if you press left and right the same amount of time, the camera should return to its initial position ;)

@kunonooni Yeah there is no audio, I simply didn't have time to create the sounds and a music. I think the command window you mention is only for games made with Unity. But here you control Hums with your mouse, so no need of such a window ;) And I hid logs in the post-LD update.
I'm like @shulgaboy, I love the gun animation! :) The game is very simple but still fun to play. I didn't realize there were more than one level because shooting a lot works pretty well to survive :grin: Nice art!
Really good looking game :)
Super simple and super nice :D I could be a good game for boring morning commute ;)
The UI works well and the integrated tutorial too. Well done! :thumbsup:
Not sure I got how to play... we can only go on two platforms? :)
I like the graphics, simple and efficient :) The audio is nice, a little repetitive but the game is rather short so it's ok ;)
@viswaa oh indeed :thumbsup:
