Very nice idea, and pleasing visuals.
Too bad it can't be controlled by mouse or analog pad. Rotation speed seems to be quite limiting with keyboard.

Looks quite nice, sounds good (at least the music is great) plays good enough, but gets boring VERY quickly.
Love the game! Graphics are lovely, gameplay is solid, and theme interpretation is a nice touch too! I would have played much more if there were more levels.
Graphics are poor, sound is even worse, however gameplay is quite entertaining, and there is something in this game that makes me want to try again after i fail. Big thumbs up for that!
Very nice game. Graphics are perfectly adequate, music is great, and gameplay itself is very satisfying. However, it seems to be somewhat unbalanced. I finished it with no problem once I found a bow, while struggling on every other playthrough.
I saw your posts during the compo, and was a little affraid that our games might turn out to be a bit too similar. Both have the same basic premise and even similar plot twist at the end ;) However, I think that the gameplay itself is quite uniqe in both.
I really liked the flat shaded aesthetics in your game! Chalanges were also cool. But for some reason one obstacle was way harder for me than it should: I kept falling into lava streams. Feels like the collision detection on those could be tweaked a bit.
I don't understand the combat at all. I keep loosing every second battle. But I really enjoyed the graphics and battle music! :)
I really like the idea, and the fact that the game 'plays itself' when you watch the battles unfold. Harvesting souls is however quite tiring.
Level design is quite punishing :) but it was a lot of fun to play
I really enjoyed shooting the enemies, but the hunger mechanics made was just getting in the way of fun for me. Loved the music and graphics - both worked really well.
It's a small thing but: I hated that it forces full screen on you. Especially that on my setup game works perfectly in window but stutters in full screen at time.
Very nice looking and fun game. I would love to play more levels:)
I think controls could be improved if you used mouse for shooting, or analog stick on gamepad. Otherwise, very nice idea, and fun game :)
I've uploaded a slight fix that makes finishing the broken ladder level much easier and more reliable.
@limnori: The red screen was actually intentional, to leave player some space to wonder about what just happened and if it was a good ending or not. But I see your point - it might have been better to give player an option to continue.
I liked the graphics, even though they were very simple. Humor was also nice. On the other hand, gameplay was not fun at all for me. It's just mashing spacebar at random places. It could have been better if there was more to it.
Great atmosphere
