EARTH BLOSSOM by Zarkonnen 2017-12-05T18:07:35Z
I really enjoyed this one! The difficulty is spot on and the music and sound effects work really well. But the blossom mechanic was never really a threat after it was first introduced.

The sound effect when picking up money was very satisfying! Really simple and easy to learn. I did get a lot of similar rooms in the first level (line of target below three turrets), and the first level felt a bit too long. Great game overall though! The intro was really good
Really cool game! The music was mostly good, but one was a bit screechy. I feel like you need an animation for when you aim the gun up and down and some sort of indicator when you've been damaged. Great boss fights, I really felt the tension when the music kicked in when I had very little health left
Love the idea, very creative interpretation of the theme (I'm kind of annoyed I didn't think of this). I'll admit the difficulty shot up quite quickly, maybe a few more levels in between to increase the difficulty slower might have worked better. But overall this is a great entry!
I liked the idea but it didn't affect the gameplay much. Very nice art though. Great job!
I liked the game. The music was really good and I really liked the beginning with the computer. The only thing I would change is that there wasn't enough things falling and I found myself sat waiting for the next item to drop so if there were more items or the items fell at a faster pace it would make the game more fun. Overall, nice game. Good job! :)
Some of the best art and music I've seen so far. I love how creepy it got near the end!
Great game! I really liked the art and sound effects
Really like this game! I love how quickly it ramps up, and the power up blocks were very creative. My best score was 93
Great music and sounds. I feel like the game got a bit too dark at night though
Great game!
Cool idea, i did find the music hard to listen to after a while.
Very funny game!
Cool idea! Felt a bit short though. I feel like it should have been more difficult to compensate for its length.
Love the retro style! Very difficult though. My blood pressure has been raised. Potentially the lives resetting after every level might make it a bit easier?
This was genuinely terrifying, I loved it! The WOO when you get caught scared the life out of me. I liked how creative you were with such a simple gameplay mechanic. My only issue was on level 5 where I think I spawned outside of the level for some reason, and I had to skip that level (rather than sacrificing myself). But honestly this is one of the most enjoyable compo games I've played so far. Great job!
Great movement, it felt very responsive. Loved the music and sound effects. I love the idea but later on when I had lots of "pigs" I found it a bit frustrating to have to get them all up to the same place, so I eventually gave up and focused on one of them, using the pigs as checkpoints. Also, it seemed easier to just kill the pigs at the bottom rather than get them to the same height as the others. I also noticed that the L shaped platforms actually had square hitboxes which resulted in me failing a few jumps. Also, it would have been nice to know which pigs where the highest and lowest. But overall an enjoyable game!
Love the idea! It's a very funny concept. I love how big his head can get. But I think it needs more frequent checkpoints as I got stuck on the red blocks after the elevator which I probably could have done with more checkpoints.
Great entry! It was a bit frustrating though running out of ammo near an enemy and having to slowly reverse to drop in some more. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it :D
Very funny cthulhu facts! Combat was fun, sound effects were satisfying and the 2.75D style is really unique. However, I experienced an issue with the door spawning off the platform, requiring me to make a leap of faith. Also, it got a bit repetitive after a while and it was a bit easy since the cthulhus couldn't damage you. Nonetheless, a very enjoyable game. Good work!
Great game! I loved the challenge. But I didn't like how it takes control away from the player every time you run into a new seagull, slowing the flow of the game. Maybe it should have zoomed in only on the first seagull.

Very good game! Really enjoyed it. At first I was confused of what to do as I didn't know you had to hit the shop to start the score but after I figured that out it was really fun. I loved the aesthetic and the audio especially when you get hit by a car (>v<). Well done!
Loved it!! Wish there were some checkpoints so I could see the whole game, but I guess that adds to the tension. Great job!
I found this very funny. Didn't expect that level of violence. I thought it would be a stealth game
Cool idea! You've got something good here. I do think it needed some more interesting mechanics later on. Also, I think green was a bad choice for the doors as I thought it was poison in the first room
Great game, but i felt like it took too long to earn enough gold to buy anything

This game is a work of art! Loved it!
Loved it! I'm a sucker for mouse-only games. The lava sound effect was perfect!
Some really clever puzzles! Loved the animations and sound effects. Some camera issues where I was trying to figure out which bird the camera was trying to follow. Great game overall though. I loved the atmosphere!
Game was a bit short/easy but grabbing ledges was a nice touch and stomping enemies is always great fun!
Loved the art and music! But isn't the game just an ordinary platformer upside down? Do you you even need to switch the camera back?
Really fun to learn what each robot does and a very creative take on the theme. I did manage to softlock myself though because the second robot can't destroy walls. Also, I love the aesthetic!
The platforming felt great to control and it was a good choice to add lots of checkpoints. But it can be frustrating when you can't progress because you don't have enough lives.
Incredible gameplay and story.
Took me some time to figure out which direction the tracks take the trolleys, but once I figured that out I had a great time squishing folks. And a very satisfying yet disturbing ending!
An interesting idea and use of the theme. A bit hard to control with unclear hitboxes and invisible death boundaries. I feel that blue and green weren't used enough as pink was the only one capable of making most of the jumps.
Must have been tough designing levels for each combination! Good Job!
Starting from the very beginning when dying is a bit harsh, but it does add a lot of tension. Great game!
I absolutely love this game!
Very unique game! And that ending was so emotional :(
Great game! Would be even better with a some tunes to complement the rhythm of stabbing stuff
That last part had my heart racing! The true sacrifice was giving up the sword it seems.
Loved the graphics! Took a bit too long to get difficult though
This game is so much fun!
