I enjoyed playing this! Carrie is super cute! The design is lovely. I was surprised by the quiz element after each 'level'. I also enjoyed the music. Good entry!

The quiz element was a clever feature. I enjoyed playing this.
The game is nice, but the base resolution is higher than my monitor and I can only see a quarter of the screen, I could still play it for five levels but after those shoot spamming guys spawned off screen I just lost, be careful about default resolution next time, other than that, amazing game really!
Lying mechanic was really interesting, music was great, overall a great game! However, I did think some of the questions were a bit too harsh, and some of the projectiles were hard to see on the background.
Nice fun game, good job!
There was a small problem though. I might be wrong, but it seems that the game alwyas tries to run in 1920x1080, and since my display is smaller, edges of the screen were cut off.
Wow, super cute and cohesive art style.
Some of the "power ups" are too harsh for my taste, like the inverted keyboard which to leads to a painful frustration.

This is most definitely a fun game! Rolling around and throwing chocolates at the candy bears - that's the kind of stuff I'm looking for on game jams. Trying to not be eaten by a candy is a humorous idea.
As for suggestions, I'd like to see some trickier questions, and more variety in them. I tried it twice, and out of ~10 questions I mistaken only once. Of course, then I went and got all the curses to check it out. Would be nice if the game gave you description of the curse after you got it, because some effects are not obvious.

Wow man, this is a super great game ! I really enjoyed it :O I can honestly say i'm a fan of it haha ! I really enjoyed the balance of difficulty, the pace, the humor and challenge of it ! I liked the mecanisim of quizz at the end of each round (and the sadisim of the guy), the difficulty to find the answer was well balance as well. I couldn't reach more than the level 7 by the way, but i enjoyed it. Problems & Ideas : - I'm french and my keys QZSD didn't worked, i had to switch my keyboard. - It will be nice if we could, at launch, choose the screen where the game will be screened. - Rebalance damages of ennemies because they are to powerfull after lvl 7 Or be invisible for 0.5s if we are touched by a bullet - Lollipops ennemies's bullets are not enought visible - Live bonus appering on scene sometimes - Upgrade system between each games
Can wait for a future version. AWESOME ! :D -
The graphics are sweet! Literally :D I was expecting that something would change depending on right or wrong answer, glad it didn't, because then I would be really screwed, haha!

Good game overall, art style was a bit girly for my taste but the mechanics were fun and the controls curse is sure to mess with you!
Awesome soundtrack. Enjoyed it a lot! Some of the graphical assets were really nice, especially the characters, but I think the overall graphics didn't blend very well.
What a cool game! I love the concept of the NPC asking question at the end of every round, makes it even Møre challenging. Simple and fun, the graphics are very nice and the gameplay is fluid with a good mob variety! The game gets very hard when you achieve the level 7 but other then that the game is very good! Having a (Highscore) board showing in the main menu and after you die could be a good asset to add to the game.
All the 2D sprites were really cute and the way you worked with the theme is really fun. Once you get your first true/false guess wrong the difficulty really goes up a bunch :)
Also, gameplay felt satisfying and fun. Great job.
Haha! This was great, I loved it when I got cursed and my controls were messed up. I also thought the dialogue was quite funny.
Art was very cool, and you can see that you gave a good attention to the details of the game, congratulations.

very nice game ! I love candies :-)) So "vintage" ! Maybe you could just add one or two more musics for higher levels or to play with the bosses !?
