Hi there, just played your game. The graphics is great to me, especially the animation details. Gameplay is smooth and easy. The ideal fit the theme very well. Some suggestions, maybe coins can also effect the jump height? I know it means much more work on level design and test. And for me, if the scene happen in the bank would make more sense to me, like the robby collects coins in the bank at last escape. Overall, a 4.5 star game for me. btw: Coppy in lv3 are so crazy (/TДT)/

Congrats on your new music tracker. It sounds very nice. Maybe add more ability could make this game even more funny, like kick paragliders out of the boat, break wind to force them leave the ship..

@indie-gaming wow! Thank you so much for your playing and recording the video. It's great for me to see people's reaction when they playing the game. I also noticed few bugs through your playing video, fixed already. (I forgot normalize the direction vector, Which means right now the jump power should work more correctly.)
@tuism yeah, I totally agree with you, I noticed the first issue you point out, that why I set some triggers to change camera position. But after selftesting game too many times, I thought I set camera ahead enough which seems still not enough right now. Maybe next time I should find someone test my game before submitting.

Nice job for your first Ludum Dare. Yes it's kinda hard but acceptable.
Nice idea to have dynamic level which more time make level harder. The character animations are very cute!

Nice job for your first compo game already. In my opinion, maybe more coins get more speed could be worse, like its to fast after gain too many coins, then its more likely running into river. Any way good luck with your next jam!
Its very nice of you to warn us that web version can cost lot of time to load which many people forget to do that. The nice scene is very beautiful. Over all good job.
The game is very fun to play, I love your low-poly art work very much, also the audio part is good too. I met some bugs in the Web version, like sometime I cannot unlock the next lv. You can check the screen shot I uploaded below. But in the game jam, people lacks of time to test, so it wont effect my rate. Good job overall, it can be a nice post-jam game, keep working on it!

wow, great job. It's the first one 5 star game I played in this time LD. No need to mention about how good the graphics or the storytelling is. I really like your design details such as cat has 9 life.

The art is very catchy and nice. I also like the way of storytelling. More story would make this game even better, for now after playing I feel not played enough.
The game has a nice idea and good graphic. If there is more hints let player know what's going on(like some UI tells how much oxygen left when shooting) would make this game even better.

@goldranger It seems you didn't normalized the value when you calculate the vector between the mouse click point and the cannon. So even if I clicked the same direction, the closer I clicked from the cannon, the less launching power would be. I'm not sure if it was a bug or designed intentionally, so I just mentioned there to let you know.

@ecgamez glad you like this. the animation is quit simple, I just separate the rotation animation and the movement. but the result looks cool. :)
Just want to let your guys know, the stone boom particle would block your eyesight, it is designed intentionally. It can make the game even harder, especially in higher lv, it can be very crazy.
@andrew-garcia thanks,your art work is much better than mine. I didnt got time to add soundtrack this time, maybe next time I got more familiar with FamiTracker I would add one.

@darylsteak indeed, the difficultly ramps up steeply. I set this value because I thought people lacks of time after all, so it would help people won't take too much time to get into hard lv. But add checkpoint definitely is a good idea.

@imphenzia yes, when I developed this game I find this hard too, so I add the guide line around to try to solve this problem. But it seems the problem still exist, it's my fault didn't come out a better idea to let player feels the depth.

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare! I have attended few time Ld, but usually don't get time to make soundtrack. It's very nice you have done all things in the first time!
Overall it is very fun to play, but in the beginning I got kind of confuse how the game work, if there is a "how to play" even in the Ludum Dare page would really help. Beside lack of instruction, the game itself is very good and has huge potential become a successful post-jam game.
wow, this game is so polished. One of the best graphics I have played in this LD.
Overall the game is very fun to play, due to lack of time, I only found two butteries and quit. The puzzle is cool and I enjoyed finding the stuff. My only complain is sacrificing items kind of take too much time, if I can sacrifice multi items in the same time would be better, still good game and nice job!
Good game, as they had mention, a little instruction how to control would be helpful, but this wont effect my rating. I like the arts and sounds part especially, it feels very elegant.

Nice job, fit the theme very well. I like the idea and the graphic style. My complaints is about the balance of the game, for now the best way for me to land is do nothing. If you adjust the damage that birds hurts would make this game even better. Good game overall.
The ship moves very cool like you said, it reminds me "elite dangerous", it's a pure 3d space ship control. Hit the moving target a kind of hard in the beginning. Overall good game.
lol very fun idea, I guess all life comes with blue cube, and the blue cube must die! just joking, I really like the result they finally evolve into animals. If there are more gameplay about gaining blue cube instead of spawning them, it would be even more interesting. Overall, it's a nice game. Congrats on your first Ludum Dare!

I really like your bgm style, it has a very cool atmosphere. The differences between each lvs are kind of hard to tell, but the player upgrade is obvious. Overall, good job. I like the theme picking, mayan is very cool.

Nice job, I played one has similar idea with you. But yours definitely is much better, the polished arts and really fun to play. This game is the third one I rated lots high stars in this LD.
TIM图片20181204123706.png manage to get there, I'm not sure if this is the end. Overall,it's a nice game. Cleaver idea to change classic platformer item into people to sacrifice. Maybe add a tutorial or some hints would help player.
Overall it's very nice game, I really love the art works, definitely 5 star. The sounds are cool and kind of strange. one little thing could be improved: Sometimes when I killed a boss(not sure if it is a boss). Same sacrifice choice would pop out(like two: +fire rate, -view).
hahaha, It makes me feel like just completed another jam, and I got the #20 overall ranking in the game. Really satisfied with the result.
Back to the game, it's amazing to design and combine these mini-games in a such short time, especially since all of them are both fun and make sense. Great job, I guess this one would win the top 10 overall scores.

@langotriel Thanks for your kind words. We actually implement the "pause button" in the last hour because we notice the game neither has a tutorial nor gives players enough time to learn cards and mechanisms. A "pause button" would be the quickest way to achieve that in time.
@enad96 Thanks, we were planning to add this feature but running out of time to do it at last.
@bangkerpow Thank you for the comment. We feel the same that that time is kind of too short, especially for players in a game jam who are all first-time trying it. We might make a new "hardcore" mode that bans players to use the "Pause button", like a bullet mode in Chess. And remove time limit in normal mode.
Great job, after taking a little time to get used to the control the game is really fun to play. I guess if you add more levels and enemy types, the game will be ready to release as a full game.
A solid entry and nice teamwork! I like the idea and the details you added to the game. My favorite part is the player can use the skull to do multiple things, especially changing the environment which gives the gameplay huge strategy potential.
Very fun to play! At first, I look at the page I was thinking ok, another 10s wave spawner, but I was totally wrong! It's a great idea to generate an event instead of the enemy every 10s. Made me keep wanting to see what might happen next. Too sad that I'm not a good fps player, I guess after 3 times try I still just see not even half of the events.

(such as the "debug log" count to start, also the glitch effect based on time,world change into 3d after time gets even longger) It's very important to handle the whole feel of the game, and you have done it very well.

The mechanism is great, Although I didn't get use to it at the beginning(The countdown stage is kind of too fast for me). My idea is maybe add BGM and make cooldown time combine with music rhythm would make this game even better. Again, the mechanism is great already, with huge potential. Also thanks for your idea in my game.
@GoldRanger Thanks for your great feedback, I totally agree with you. The monopoly part didn't have big impact in this game, but I didn't come out an idea how to make this game become more monopoly like. I was planning to make this post-LD game. Your idea really helped me a lot. Thank you so much.
