Wow. That was a very nice pixel art style there, I really liked that. The gameplay was amazing and unique and I loved the pinball-esque gameplay. The animations were hilarious as were the cutscenes.
I don't have much to say for this except that it would be nice if there were a bit more "juiciness" to it. I would've liked the ball to look more pixelated and for a few more sound effects when bouncing off of walls and such
But overall, a really neat game and one you should be proud of :).

This is one of my favorites, for sure. Your sprite animations are simple but clean, your concept is clear, I love the trickiness of trying to bank shots and keep your paths to loot open. You even had that extra prison break sequence, which keeps this from being just another score grabber. The music seemed a bit out of place, but I enjoyed it anyway.
This is awesome. Both the art and the animations are really really on point and the game idea is so original. Love this game.
Great graphic, animations, idea... everithing Only issue that I had with the game is slow response on shooting. Why do I have to wait for half a second for bullet to shoot?

@KabalaTrance We tested a lot that mechanic and that was what worked best. It has to be a challenge and in this way we penalize more the number of balls. Because you know, the more balls you have...

Man, this game is so GROOVY! Love the aesthetic and how everything flows together. The core gameplay is pretty dope too, makes good use of the theme. Definitely pursue this further!

- Art and animations are on point. - Music is really good. - Gameplay is really fun. I don't really have anything I don't like. It's a very fun idea, and it helps me buy into it when you use rubber bullets to shoot things that wouldn't hurt anyone. Well done guys.
- I was having a hard time connecting the theme to the game. It doesn't count against you, I probably just can't see it. - Not required, but it always helps to provide source-code so the community can benefit from your well-polished game.
This was an absolute delight. I appreciated the great use of pinball/break out mechanics paired as a dodging game (and with the multiplier to reinforce the objective!). Fantastic entree.
This is the favorite one I've played so far! Loved the funky music and great art, and the gameplay went along really well. I wish the player was a bit faster, and it felt like the ball should also have been pixelated. Also, the text was a bit hard to read, being black text among all those details - I think it could have been more effective if it was a pop-up dialog/bubble which displayed the text all at once. Really awesome overall!
@elitegoliath Hey. Thanks for comment! Maybe we can help you to see the theme. Our idea was to work the theme from the mechanic and the concept.
Mechanic: To pick the money you have to shoot balls. More balls means more money from the machines, but at the same time, more balls means more chances to be stunned, lost time and the multiplier so... The more you have, more difficult it is. But it totally depends on you :)
Concept: The second way we try to touch the theme was with the plot hehehe. More loot you have, worse is the jail they send you, so it's harder to score.

One of the best game I played in this LD#40. The idea, the art and the music are all awesome.
I love the concept, I love the crazy wild pinball shooting action...my only issue is it seems to rely quite a bit on luck? I can't tell if the cash amounts from the targets are fixed or random. My best run was a little over 3700, with most of my attempts being in the 800-1500 range.
(Also, props for the Monkey Island reference!)
Fantastic game! The art style is fantastic, the instructions fit very well into the game, and hiding the cash is hilarious! The music was an interesting choice, but getting the "OHHHH YEAAAAHH" while sitting on toilet is my highlight of LD.
@ryusui the amount is random based on percentages, yes. Maybe you are throwing few balls... or too many! If you try to pick up the money without being stunned and you will get more money!

Wow that's incredible! I could play a lot of this game, especially with different levels and bullets...multiplayer mode trying to get more money than the other person, trying to escape together, there's so much! Really cool and creative, I really like this one! (I got to maximum security but didn't get out).
Wow what a great little game, I like how you have to escape from jail after getting caught.
The only thing to improve IMO is to add a little time of invincibility on hit not to be hit twice with the same ball. Anyway, this game is awesome!
