LD53 — Delivery (15)

SWAN SONG by Simon Rahnasto 2023-05-04T23:00:44Z ♥ 3

This is a real gem! I love bite sized horror experiences and this delivers, particularly in the frantic need to constantly keep your flashlight charged. I love mechanics like that. Mapping the whole ship was a trial in and of itself but once I had the flow down it really worked! Particularly enjoyed your art direction, keep making things in this world and I'll happily come back.

Ice Break Delivery by SneakyFox 2023-05-04T22:36:25Z ♥ 1

This is so cute. Well done! I like the contrast of the chill music to the absolutely not chill penguins trying to keep me from doing my job.

Hedge Hauler by trASSh 2023-05-04T22:28:12Z ♥ 2

Nice little clicker! If I have any complaints, is that it's hard to click on the small version of the plants, at least in my web browser. But I think you guys did a great job here!

Apricot Kernel by riley9 2023-05-04T22:21:56Z ♥ 2

I love little adventures like this in game jams, even more so on the Pico-8. Your writing is impeccable, and I imagine a love for poetry plays a big part in this? Either way, I felt moved by a lot of your words. Excellent little game.

Flooding Fisherman by JoaoPBax 2023-05-04T02:17:06Z ♥ 5

Outstanding atmosphere, your art and sound direction is superb.

NightClub DrugLord by Kentin_BK 2023-05-03T21:55:47Z ♥ 2

Great game, your style is fierce and the energy is tight. I enjoyed figuring out how to route through crowds!

Hover Bites by Togis 2023-05-02T21:07:44Z ♥ 3

Loved having to plan routes and making things as efficient as possible, loved the cute little world, honestly the one entry I want to be a full game the most.

King's Sandwich by HexStart 2023-05-02T20:33:26Z ♥ 3

Had to play this one after watching it on a stream, love these kinds of social deduction puzzles a-la Reigns. Also, first game I noticed using "Delivery" in this sense- brilliant!

CUBE RUNNER by itsBoats 2023-05-02T20:31:23Z ♥ 1

Lil' Wormy Corp forever! I like the slippery controls, feels very QWOP, and makes the game a nice challenge.

Treats Inbound by rickylee 2023-05-02T19:03:45Z ♥ 1

Cat. Excellent. Perfect. 10/10

Boxtorio by JoshuaBounds 2023-05-02T18:33:48Z ♥ 2

I had a hard time understanding what to do, but I liked the feel of the controls and the systems seem neat!

Package Punk by Pomo 2023-05-02T18:33:23Z ♥ 1

Amazing environment! The controls were a bit slippery and I feel like having to wait on the grapple hook is limiting in terms of potential movement but in any case, for a jam game, outstanding.

oh no, you are the package by gn Fur 2023-05-02T18:27:12Z ♥ 1

Man I can't imagine how you coded the grapple sequence, traversing the ameoba was always cool. Loved the art style!

Disk Dasher by Andreadbx 2023-05-02T18:02:53Z ♥ 2

Lotta good work here! I love the movement, I love the environment, I love the vibe- ya'll should be proud. If you wanna improve it post-jam I think more feedback would be nice, speed lines, balloon popping particles, but it's already pretty great. Well done!

Goodnight Meowmie by DDRKirbyISQ 2018-05-07T17:26:58Z ♥ 2

MAN that is tense! I love Meowmie so much though! Really, this is so well done. The atmosphere and aesthetics are top notch, and everything outside of the warm and happy area drives my heart rate through the roof - in a good way!

Elemento by Togis 2018-04-25T20:27:58Z ♥ 1

I love the voxel art! Everything is so detailed and colorful. It's very confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it starts to shine.

Indoor Haul by iseeicy 2017-12-05T21:27:31Z ♥ 1

To do a randomly generated map for a jam - let alone one so big - boggles my mind. This game is pretty incredible for that reason alone. Its fun just to scramble and grab things, and the shopping cart controls feel really good! A sprint button may be helpful when on foot, but I can see where that may break the game a bit.

I love the idea of exploring an abandoned mall in real life, and the somewhat spooky tone of the game on top of that is awesome. If you keep working on this project I can see myself definitely buying a more finished version.

Shifting Dreamscape by Cruise Elroy 2017-12-05T20:57:16Z ♥ 2

Hot dang this is well put together. You deserve plenty of kudos. Wonderful gameboy color aesthetic, great mechanic, simple but elegant, and I love games that appear cute and cuddly but hide darker undertones. Keeping this one downloaded on my machine.

placeHolder by tetra 2017-12-05T20:42:56Z ♥ 1

Loved this. Great example of taking a simple idea and fleshing it out as far as you can. The audio is a bit rough, but it's great otherwise.

Coinminator 2000 by Victor Sette 2017-12-05T20:27:59Z ♥ 2

Very cool! I couldn't tell what was a bug and what was because I was getting too heavy with the platforming collision (some visual indicators like bridges breaking or something would go a long way there) but the concept is very clean and VERY well executed. Great music, slick controls. Well done!

Rlyeh survivors by olddadou 2017-12-05T20:08:10Z ♥ 2

Arrow keys seem to work perfectly, but even in Firefox only the S and D (down and right) keys work if someone wants to use the WASD control scheme. Hopefully that helps you take a closer look at your bugs. :)

All in all though, it's not bad. Your audio can be a bit jarring, and it seemed like it sometimes didn't play when it should. Gameplay is simple, but fun, and the spawn points expanding when a new enemy is about to show up is a smart bit of design.

The Rubber Robbery by TheMadStrauss 2017-12-05T19:59:08Z ♥ 1

This is one of my favorites, for sure. Your sprite animations are simple but clean, your concept is clear, I love the trickiness of trying to bank shots and keep your paths to loot open. You even had that extra prison break sequence, which keeps this from being just another score grabber. The music seemed a bit out of place, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Get all the Wood by GameDevZach 2017-12-05T19:52:09Z ♥ 2

I loved the art, the message, and just wandering around the serene landscape. The deer is super cute, and I only wish there was more to do. But this is great man!

Traffic Jammers by jushiip 2017-12-05T19:42:23Z ♥ 1

Wow! That level of polish is stellar! Just the right amount of pop, the music is catchy, the mechanics are simple but very well executed. This is top notch, guys.

Bobby's awful idea by Drakncel 2017-12-05T19:39:22Z ♥ 3

This is really good! Fits the theme perfectly. Love trying to hang up people's phones to try and mitigate the difficulty spikes. I only found one bug, it seemed like sometimes the sound effect for interacting with people and barf wouldn't play sometimes, but overall this is really good!

Polyose by dylanilvento 2017-12-04T19:16:13Z ♥ 1

This is the most literal way to take the theme and it works super well. Love it dude!

Beware the Slime by SophieM 2017-12-04T19:13:09Z ♥ 6

Would go a really long way to add more ways of playing the game, not everyone has controllers! But great job. The graphics are top notch. :)

The Tipping Point by foolmoron 2017-05-01T18:07:06Z ♥ 1

The UI might be the most funky-fresh thing I've ever seen. It was fun to make friends just so I could hunt down every last bit of dialogue, and the systems in place to help your influence grow are well thought-out and entertaining simply watching them work.

Brotozoa by ruthiepee 2017-05-01T17:48:45Z ♥ 1

Fantastic soundtrack and a very clean, inspired look. Love all my little protozoa friends!

eiland by rubna 2017-05-01T17:00:32Z ♥ 0

Digging how well the 2d and 3d art blends together, and every little interactive detail is so well polished. Your attention to consistency is superb. Awesome work!
