Salty Business by drtizzle 2017-12-04T22:32:44Z

I like the graphics and the music and the gameplay concept; i just wish the boat would move a little faster!

This is so polished, a really good entry! Good style and mechanics too.

Professional Dog Walking by ACiertz 2017-12-04T17:34:34Z

I liked it man, especially the voices! I didn't find it much more difficult with more dogs but it was cool. I can imagine it fleshed out with cool little easter eggs

Tic-Tac-Matrix by Antti Haavikko 2017-12-05T20:32:56Z

This is really cool, I've not seen anything like it. The gameplay was a little lost on me but I can see something like this working very well in a teaching environment. Graphics and animations were charming.

Ricochette by Nathalia Hohl 2017-12-12T12:03:29Z

I enjoyed it, our games pretty much have the same mechanic, it works well with two players!

BLOK'D by AndrewJAdams 2017-12-05T18:53:45Z

Really enjoyed this one. Found it a bit too easy with the skipping. Would play this as a phone app, definitely, and would love to see it developed further; things like combo bonuses, obstacles in the levels etc. nice job!

Smack`Em! by mess110 2017-12-05T20:02:27Z

Really good style, it looked very polished!

Tycoon of the HighSeas by RelicTooth 2017-12-12T12:04:43Z

Good graphics, reminds me of my favourite game; Colonization. Give it some polish

Thanks Togis, I really enjoyed watching the stream, and thanks to everyone who has commented so far, I'll be sure to rate your games on the weekend when I have time!

Drone Invasion by Niki90000 2017-12-05T20:06:07Z

I like the concept; some parts seemed a bit rushed. The score doesn't seem to update ingame either. With some polish and a bit more work I can see it being a fun single button phone game for sure

LD42 — Running out of space

worm.exe by Linus 2018-08-15T18:29:55Z

I liked the idea, but I wasn't clear on what to do at first. I thik it could work well with some variation, powerup types files or similar. Saying that, what was presented was well made, there wasn't a frustrating moment in terms of controls. I found it quite easy once I got to a certain point. Maybe the virus could have moved the sorting folders to add difficulty.

SINGULARITY by Syrapt0r 2018-08-16T19:48:59Z

I think the presentation is cool. I didn't really know what to do so I was chasing the warp points. Same with trading, resources etc, I wasn't sure where to get cargo at the start. I think it controls well, but I felt a bit directionless midgame. I think the background music is good. Most of all, I think the game would benefit from the plot being described, maybe some sort of mission to achieve on each level.

TeTrans by BoltKey 2018-08-16T20:00:59Z

I really liked the mechanics of this. With some graphical polish I can see this really working. I think it is a logically sound game, but I'd like to be able to pick up fuel. maybe some paths could be 'fuel paths', where you regain fuel? Really liked the game in any case, I think it was cleverly done.

TrackBlasters by paulloz 2018-08-16T20:04:09Z

I am bad at this game! The graphics were very well made. I'd like to have been able to drive across diagonal gaps. Really fits the theme and this would be really cool multiplayer, a frustration showed when I would spawn right behind a gap I'd blown up. Still a well made game and really hammered the theme.

What Is On The Walls Inside by fullmontis 2018-08-16T19:54:12Z

Loved the art, the presentation and the storytelling, as well as the multiple storylines. An impressive amount of work done over the course of the weekend, well done. Have played some VN's but never seen the 'Like'/'dislike' mechanic, thought that was really cool.

Space Compact by garris 2018-08-14T12:43:09Z

I liked this. It reminded me a lot of a game I used to love, Subspace : Continuum. Really simple idea, you're a space trader, but there are enemies and asteroids. I think this has a lot of scope for future growth.

Computer Funfare. by Jakegames2 2018-08-14T12:30:15Z

I liked it, it really reminded me of some net-yaroze tier indie game. I had a lot of 'wat' moments but it had a unique style. I can see this game existing with lots of these minigames tied together in a fast paced style.

Grid Battle by Sarah 2018-08-16T20:10:10Z

I'm afraid I had no idea what to do, I've never played Baiten Kaios and I'm unfamiliar with TCG's as a whole. I think starting off with a tutorial would have been a good shout here, because as an outsider I felt I could tell this game had some very complex logic behind it but I couldn't really grasp it without knowledge of the genre.

Aeromancer by Ethan Allwood 2018-08-14T12:41:50Z

This was such a polished entry and I really enjoyed playing it. My only gripe was that it required a lot of quick timing, like jumping and then using a parachute, or stunning and attacking an enemy. Other than that, it's just proper lush. The particles really add to it, and while I was terrible first time, I went on to play it a lot after the stream. Really cool, hope you take it further.

Spaceness by themarioga 2018-08-16T20:17:29Z

As others said I found it a bit slow at the beginning, I could do nothing and just watch it. Did like the style chosen for the visuals. I think if you ramped the speed up by like 200% this would be wacky.

Pastien Le Pingouin by Caffeinated Psychics 2018-08-15T18:35:43Z

I liked the audio, and it was a very happy, fun game to play. I think you could develop it further, animations for penguins getting hit. The music speeding up when the game gets faster is a nice touch. Some variation in level would be good, think ramps, holes to fall down, moving enemies etc.

42_GetOut by elZach 2018-08-14T12:35:59Z

I really enjoyed this and played it to completion. The game shares mechanics with my entry. There were some physics bugs but I think they only added to the mood. I would love to see this as a full game, and I think the enemies were a nice touch. Sound also exceptional. I would play a full version of this.

Dear Leader's Diet Plan by Historymaker118 2018-08-15T18:24:47Z

This was a unique game in terms of style and mechanics. I liked how polished it looks from the get go. I wasn't entirely sure what to do, or how think I had to get Kim for the level to be passed. Well done on graphics, and the controls were responsive too.

MondrianCraft by kromeboy 2018-08-14T12:45:49Z

I did enjoy it, and completed it. It was tough knowing which blocks mixed with others, which led to trial and error without any sort of pattern. I can see this being a lot of fun with some relaxing background music, and maybe some sort of hint as to which blocks can be joined.

Bombing Run by Gregor 2018-08-14T22:55:54Z

Jeez, where to begin. The level is massive! I actually felt tense towards the end when I was down to the last few seconds after having gotten lost. I like how the bomb defusal mechanic is intuitive. There is just so much stuff everywhere, I like the clutter placed in the levels and the general level of detail in both amount of stuff and defusal gameplay/walking simulator is great for having been made in three days. Well done guys

ReMind LD-42 by EvanM 2018-08-16T19:52:37Z

I really like the concept. As others have said I agree that the intro was way too long. Gameplay was simple but I think there is a lot of growth and the storytelling is a good aspect to explore too. I wasn't a fan of the sound effects, they were a bit too loud for me. I can see this working as an aspect of a larger game, or with further expanded mechanics; different thought sizes, speeds maybe. gameplay at around 8 mins: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298139021##

Evolucity - Build as high as you can! by Mazzletov 2018-08-14T12:39:33Z

This was a unique take on the theme I think. The graphics were very nice, it was only later I saw I could rotate the camera. I would have liked to have seen a pre-placement highlight or similar, as well as a 'next building' preview but the theme as a whole holds up and it's satisfying to grow your jenga city.

It was fun. I loved the style. I only disliked the player gun, I felt it wasn't impactful enough. Also, sometimes I didn't know when I was being hit or what was going on in terms of screen glitchy effect. It looks lovely, however, and the mechanics work well. Highly rated and recommended in any case.

Loved the FPS/Tower defense hybrid style. I didn't play for long but i think there is potential. There were some bugs with collision and for the player, and it was a shame there was no sound. For a LD game though? Really impressive graphics and solid gameplay for only 2-3 days creation.

Out Of Space by BloooBird 2018-08-16T20:12:42Z

It was a really funny game, probably the funniest I've played this jam. My only bit of constructive feedback would be that I felt the lanes were a bit too thin, and I would prefer hitting an object to slow you down rather than stop you completely. Really well done, both cool graphics, style and responsive gameplay. I really enjoyed playing Out of Space.

@joshcanprogram Seems to be an issue with a lot of downloadable games in Ludum dare, especially GMStudio ones like this. Annoying and really hampers downloadable games over web streaming ones. Thank you for playing!

Meager by Andrew Friedman 2018-08-14T12:24:11Z

I found this tough due to the bullet speed, but I enjoyed the concept. Reminded me of this arcade tank game I can't remember the name of, back on the Amiga. I liked the impossible level, I think I would be liked to have seen hand created general levels in arcade mode instead of random generated ones.

This was fun. I have seen the mechanic before in an older FPS game and it works well here. I am a terrible driver, but the logic of the way the puzzles works is good. Good style in terms of graphics, and the ragdoll effects on the drivers is funny.

I think I would like to see a mode where you can sort of scrub through time and erase your mistakes, but that's probably because I wasn't very good at it!

I liked this, thought it was a bit too slow for me. Can't fault the art at all, and with these sorts of games it can be frustrating if the controls are bad, luckily here I think they are solid. I think it'd be cool to see this at double speed, as I didn't really notice the ship increasing in size much.

Lovely style graphically, and well made audio. My one gripe was that you can't seem to finish the first level unless you retain a jump. I think you should be able to, but maybe having a jump left will give you a bonus. The collision boxes also seemed a bit too large, especially when dealing with spikes.
