Strategic game, has leaderboards so if you like being number one, give it a try.
Issues:
Confusing.
Other than ^ it's rather fun to play.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD42 → TeTrans

Great idea and a neat little game. The use of tetrominoes for the cargo makes it very intuitive.
I think the tutorial makes things look much more complicated than they really are, though; if you take this further, I'd recommend reducing that first graph down to two nodes.
This is well made, congrats! I love how it fits the theme, and I'm impressed you made three levels, *and* online rankings!
This game definitely had a lot of strategy inolved which was quite nice. Planning out your routes and the cargo you will take took some thinking. Obviously some music, even a simple loop would've been nice. I liked the amount of gameplay polish with the UI and everything. A nice submission.
At first I was a bit confused by the gameplay and GUI, but it turned out to be really thought out. I think that game is really great, but you should polish it a bit more.
feels like we can write a program to optimize the solution.
Nice job! Very interesting game idea.
Cool! Took me a while to get the gist, but it was fun to play! I like that you can rotate the cargo
Really neat game. Good job.
The game was nicely done, and had a nice strategic touch to it. The highscore system also gave some sense of challenge. Overall, well done.
Very challenging game. I think a soundtrack would add a lot to the mood of the game, mabye something "road trip" like?
Very cool game. Habs just seen in the stream at Elysia Griffin. Maybe you should add another "worst points list" ...: D I wish you much success, luck is not needed with such a great game.
Simple and straightforward. I appreciate your FAQ with its useful tips on how to maximize my profits. Well done!
I like the concept going into this a lot, and managed to sneak ahead of you in one of the high scores! That said, it feels really random whether you have enough things to fill your truck in level 2 and 3. The most interesting decisions for me were always when I was deciding what I had to leave behind, but there were only a few times when my truck was full enough for that. It feels almost like a board game!
@radical-dog Thirsty for a revenge? Challenge accepted!
Thanks for feedback! My playstyle is picking more stuff at once, so I run out of space quite often. Maybe I am playing it wrong.
I would love to make a board game based around that core idea, I actually have quite clear vision of how it would look like and some ideas. However, I have other board game projects I am working on right now. It definitely inspired me though.
Very interesting take on the theme. I like the use of tetris-style spacial management in the cargo system. It says I scored 568 in Czech Republic, but I'm not on the leaderboard. Is the leaderboard out of space? :) Nice job on this one!
Very nice strategy management game! Graphics aren't the most sophistated, but the game seems well fleshed out. You pick up cargo and bring them to their destination whilst trying to use up as little fuel as you can.
I used to play Big Mutha Truckers on PS2 and It felt a lot like the PoC on that game, so I liked it a lot and made me remember sweet times. Having the tank of gas limited ensures a max game time, and that makes it much more interesting than others would think, it makes it truly tactical. Great! Love it!
Very interesting game ! Pretty difficult at the beginning, but once you've understood the rules, you aim the leaderboard ! :)
Excellent work! Game concept is very original and fun. It feels very satisfying to collect money. I also like how you can't change the rotation or position of cargo once you've placed it (or at least I don't think you can,) as it promotes careful thinking and planning. This is a really fun and interesting game, great job!
Liked it very much. Nice clicker to relax to and not worry about too much. Got the high score on America, beating the dev :)
Great game: the interface is clear enough, but sometime the cities overlap.
It would be interesting to be able to rearrange the cargo to gain space.
Great Entry!
That is a fun management / planning game and the tetris mechanic is also a pretty neat addition for that kind of game. The graphics could be a little easier to read, it took me a monent to realize that ? means what they have in that city and i 'tetris - pack it' to the trunk before i arrive to the city to pick it up. I like that there are multiple levels with more trucks and with more options to optimize fuel usage. In overall it is a pretty fun game with pretty unique concept.
Interesting puzzle machine here. I appreciated the way that information about what parts are available for pickup is changing over time, because this prevents me from needing to plan way into the future.
I found the game rules clear and any questions were easily self-answered. Lots of good small choices in the design, too: The highlight of the destination when I moused over a piece, the very brisk pace of actually driving, the right number of nodes so it was enough but not a chore to scan and plan.
I made it to 3rd on the leaderboard for your home. Oh and a quick note - I see you have submitted this in the compo bracket but there's no source code linked.
If I could tweak one thing it would be the color palette. Yellow ? on white background is a bit too little contrast for text imo, and same goes for some of the block shapes. But this was not a serious nuisance, merely a light straining of the eye a couple of times.
I liked the spare but direct art style, a good mix of abstract vs real, and even better I very much liked the sound effects.
Well done!
It feels like a very good port of a board game of some sort, definitely feels like a fun board game that we can play on our own in our browsers.
While the gameplay itself deserves to be tied to some better art, having the levels based on real world geography was a great touch. And of course, leaderboards are always a great thing to have in a compo game.
I really liked the mechanics of this. With some graphical polish I can see this really working. I think it is a logically sound game, but I'd like to be able to pick up fuel. maybe some paths could be 'fuel paths', where you regain fuel? Really liked the game in any case, I think it was cleverly done.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298139021## Gameplay at 22:00 which I messed up a bit, buh :C
Loading in and being hit by a wall of text is never great, and despite that I was still not sure what I was supposed to do initially. Once I figured it out, I found myself having a lot of fun with the game though! It's a very interesting and unique concept (as far as I know). It certainly is more difficult than it appears at first glance. Nice work!
It's quite difficult to read the text without straining my eyes, but as a game it was pretty fun, and something I'd enjoy trying to solve, especially if route lengths were available.
Not my type of game (puzzle-sim?), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Some graphics polish would be nice, especially when the cities get extremely cluttered with ? and ! – maybe you could go for a slightly stylised view of the countries you chose instead of geographic accuracy? Something like metro maps. One thing that I have to wonder about, since there are leaderboards – how are the goods spawned? It seems like it is a randomised process, maybe it should be seeded so that each level has the same blocks spawning? Otherwise it takes a couple of attempts before you get a "good run", although I guess a good strategy is still key :) But good job overall, the gameplay is solid!
Nice game! I enjoyed playing and puzzling. :) The graphics could use some polish, but I like the visual clues of which goods go where and where I can deliver goods. Yay for leaderboards (I got into 3 of them! for now).
Well done!
