Interesting game! got to around 1000 before I stopped.
Interesting concept, tried it out with a friend but we couldn't figure out where we were so we never killed eachother. maybe add some kind of hint as to where the other players are or some recognizable landmarks so we could know better where things were. Amazing idea but I dont think 48 hours was enough to execute something like this properly.
Solid Entry! I did not get to the end but I did quite a bit of exploring. One thing I did notice was that there was a jump sound when I used the up arrow but not on space bar or WASD which also worked for jumping.
@occultone thanks! This ludum dare I tried to put a lot of emphasis towards graphics and making the game look good which left less time to make the overall attacks and movement feel smooth. I do agree it feels a bit awkward. Thanks for the great feedback and I'm glad you liked the music! I tried your game too and while it took a bit to figure out, it was really fun!
Great entry! Was really fun and I was able to beat it. Really cool idea and executed perfectly. Only things I didn't like were the awkward radius for the cursor and the lack of instruction so I had to figure things out for myself, but it wasn't too complicated so it wasnt much of a hassle to figure out how to get stuff.
Nice game! Movement is a little awkward but other than that, its a pretty solid entry.
Nice game! Simple but fun and effective, and a cool concept that fit the theme. Great entry.
Nice game! A really cool idea, switching from levels with the scrollbar.
The art was great. Really fun to play. My only issue is that the controls felt a little awkward. For example, you could have up to jump then space to attack. Other than that, great job!
Saw your post so I decided to help, as I too am in a situation of not enough votes. (pls help :P) I really liked the lighting and simple graphics which worked really well for this. The gravity when in between planets was a bit awkward but that also kinda added to the fun of the game. A bit more challenge (like maybe asteroids to avoid when going between planets or maybe moons to avoid around some if them.) would be nice but was an overall solid entry to a Ludum Dare.
Game seems great but runs very slowly for me and pauses for a long time at the end of the intro. Also, the collisions seemed very strange because I couldn't fit into a hole 2x the size of me. Great music and art other than that!
Great art and effects! One thing I would like to point out is to keep the graphics more consistent. You were so close, but I noticed some of the smaller enemies were scaled down so the pixels were smaller and also the score and cursor were not pixelated. This game has lots of potential and I love the 3 colour design (exactly like mine :P). It reminds me of a mix between nuclear throne with the art style of downwell.
@stracker, @kroltan the screen shakes when player takes damage
Really nice visuals and lighting. My only complaints were about not being able to grab a wall without jumping first.(like if i wanted to just drop down a bit) and strange hitboxes on the side of pike blocks. I would be on the side of the blocks, not near the spikes and would die.
Great mood and graphics but I think the controls is where this game falls off. feels awkward to move because you pivot around the backside instead of the middle of the player, and it's a bit too dark to see what you are doing.
Liked the game but the camera was very restrictive constantly changing angles. It was a bit confusing without much description on how to not get caught but it was simple enough to figure out after a while. Funny voiceovers!
Fun but got very repetitive and too easy. also not sure why I could eject my battery.
Fun game you got here. Saw your post and I've got the same issue of needing more votes. Check it out here if you have the time. Thanks.

Great game! I really love how the design is so simple but after playing and getting a lot of balls on the screen it starts to feel so much more chaotic and complex at the same time. Would really appreciated if you could rate mine in return. Once again, great game and wish I had time to play it more.
Even though it does feel a bit unfinished, I love the idea and you've got an interesting game here. Im in the same boat with needing more votes so check it out if you've got the time. Thanks.

Nice game, interesting concept with the sort of 3d Tetris style and was very well executed. I enjoyed this one and played a few rounds, got a score of 26 on my first try which i think is good. I think the game had a bug or something at one point where it showed they guy would land down in a specific spot but it stopped in the space above it, was a little frustrating but I'm not sure if it actually was a bug or if I just didn't see it right. Anyways, other than that it was a very solid entry and definitely something I could enjoy for a while. Would maybe be a fun mobile game.
@bloc97 haha i love that a lot of people have tried my unofficial and mever mentioned goal of grabbing that last key for no reason. Honestly its just there because the player object tries to reference a key object at the start to decide what ability the key will replace, and instead of fixing that or putting the key off screen i decided to let people mess around with the aerial mechanics at the end. BTW if you do want to play more, im working on a post-LD version with probably 5-10 more levels, a couple bug fixes and maybe some more particles which I will upload by the time the voting is over.
@paulhocker yes there was sound, lots of sound effects actually. Maybe your audio was really down?
Fun game and looks nice! Like super crate box but without the crate box part, which I guess just makes this game super? Nice entry!
Pretty solid entry for the day you worked on it! Of course as said a few times a start screen and score screen would have been nice but I understand you were in a "Big Crunch" on time which is understandable in a game jam. The mechanics were fun and I enjoyed going for the risky saves like when there is a large rock or something behind a person. One time I tried saving the UFO, but clearly it did not appreciate my efforts haha. Great work, also enjoyed the art style!
Pretty fun game! Nice to see a game (unlike mine) that is rather simple and easy to learn and get through while still leaving a bit of a challenge.
I clicked the Windows link and it said "We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service." on Google drive
Nice game and pretty fun. Love the graphics!
Really cool idea! Favorite game so far out of the 5 or so I've rated. A couple things were unclear about what i was doing but it was still fun.
Game did a great job of capturing the feeling of pushing through a crowd of people. Great atmosphere and the audio switching up when running between areas worked well!
@benskca Thanks! The game is entirely done in 2D, the characters are rendered as different sprites with a positional offset and different draw order based on the direction of the character, and some horizontal squishing on the torso as it turns. Then the legs and arms are just lines drawn using a lot of trig functions to get the positioning right, with the feet using a sine wave for the walk animation and some IK to bend the knee in the right direction.
I appreciate the feedback about the card selection. I've got plans to rebuild the game with a more roguelike format, and I'm looking to completely rework the card draw and spell selection, so that's something I'm working on making better.
I love the disco elysium format and this had great writing so I really enjoyed it! The dialogue and characters were completely infuriating in the best ways.
Very creative, lots of fun! Mic based minigames didn't work consistently for me but they were a really cool idea and managed to get them to work after a while.
Never thought a wiggling worm would teach me audio concepts. I absolutely loved the worms noises and the way it animated when I would complete a section. Great game, and a really great educational tool!
Cool game, the simple visuals were executed quite well giving the game a great atmosphere. Wasn't clear to me at the start what I was supposed to do, so a brief tutorial would go a long way towards making this more enjoyable.
I found the delay in movement to be interesting, but I often was unsure of when the order would actually arrive due to the lack of visual communication. Clearing up the controls in-game and creating a clear visual indicator of when each movement command would be executed would help a lot for players to properly engage with the fairly interesting game mechanics you have here. Aside from the cool idea, I also liked the music and visuals!
Very difficult but I enjoyed it a lot! The sanity aspect of it was very cool and the overall mood was great. I will come back to this one to see if I can get further than my first couple attempts.
Fun idea, well executed, I enjoyed it. Loved the art at the beginning. Would be nice if there was a bit of warning time before a new ball is thrown when the guys appear. Needing to go towards the edge to pick up the phone often meant getting hit by someone that appears too close for me to have time to react.
A couple things I didn't totally understand but from what I did it was fun slowly getting used to the different codes and not needing to reference them eventually. Interface was very polished and I enjoyed it overall!
Loved the design of the ship and the lonely feeling of a robot with its only goal being to complete its daily tasks. With some more variety in tasks this could be a lot of fun!
Was completely lost after it told me to keep going but loved the atmosphere!
Fun game! An explanation that the enemies move quick when you use your signal, but stay slow otherwise would be helpful. I spent a couple runs thinking hard mode was impossible before realizing it, but once I did I had a lot of fun trying to beat it.
