I really enjoyed the mechanic of switching between levels with your scroll wheel! Very original. :)

The core loop of the game (switching between levels and figuring how to get another bonus chest) turned out to be much more fun than I'd expect. I've completed all the levels and found one hidden key (I suppose - the shining rectangle, which have broken after I hit it a few times) in Kirby level. Sadly, if you try to go deeper on the Lock level, you can read a kinda spoilerish message, which implies that there's no reward for finding them all. Still, very, very interesting idea, even in this rough state. Thanks for the game!

I am surprised. At start, I didn't expected anything, but I had fun playing it. The main gameplay and mechanics are good enough. An interesting project which could be improved with other features. You deserve more comments and votes. Well done ++

Interesting start. The mousewheel through multiple levels was neat. I had trouble finding keys and understanding what all the visual elements were but it feels like there's the start of something good here.

Cool concept! There are too many enemies, though. I couldn't keep up with killing enemies and exploring, and sometimes I felt like I couldn't do anything because I couldn't get away from them and couldn't fire. The music is catchy as hell, and the art is fun. Good job overall! Keep it up!

Very impressive game, I collected some 200 coins but I was missing for finding some chest. With few graphics you transmit enough in the game. Congrats, great job.

It's simple and hard in the same time. I like it. Good job!

Simple graphics, very good gameplay, great music and awesome idea! Great job!

Incredibly innovative. Really enjoyed the gameplay of flipping from level to level. I could see playing it more and getting good at trapping the bad guys when needed and flipping back to kill them when you can. Great job!

I quite like the concept, a very creative idea. Controls were a little difficult as I got stuck against enemies and objects a bunch of times. I could hardly make out the bullets I fired, and it took me a while to notice the tiny health and energy/ammo bars in the top left.

The graphics are super basic. Not necessarily bad, but a more obvious UI and clearer bullets would have helped me a lot. Sound effects would have helped in the same way.

A great innovative idea, just lacks a little polish is all. :)

Nice game! A really cool idea, switching from levels with the scrollbar.

I liked this idea for a puzzle game. It feels like it would be good as a web based game that you can just sit down and play a quick round, or maybe somehow adapt it to mobile and play on the go -- themed level packs would be interesting, like a pack with all the levels are recognizable characters (or objects) from kirby.

Fun idea for a game! It took a little while to figure out that you could shoot. Before that, the game was quite hard, but the shooting made it a lot easier. I couldn't find out what the strange pixely things on each level did, if they should even do something at all.

Minor points: - It was a little bit annoying to have to restart completely after each death. - The intro was a bit slow, and space skipped everything instead of just one dialog. - Pretty quick development, making this in just 9 hours.

Wow, this game is weird. I liked the scroll wheel to flip through layers idea, but I felt like the execution could have been better. I would have liked there to be more of a sense of "connection" between the layers. Also, make it more clear what you're supposed to do. But I think this game has potential!

apostate-games 2017-05-16 03:50

Very interesting and trippy...very unique concept and the amount of layers is awesome. Took me a minute to realize there was a cool-down on the firing but had a fun once I realized it. Great submission!

First of al I would recommend you to put this game in another place like itch.io, or gamejolt. Those are nice hubs for the game to live.

No, abut the game, it was really nice! I did not expect the mechanic to be that much fun. I can the this becoming a nice bigger title with more mechanics and events, not just moving in Z dimension, but maybe on 2D plane as well.

The cutscene seemed to hang when you "click" on the cube (or at least, nothing happen when I click it) so in the end I just skipped it.

In any case, it was a really cool game, liked it a lot!

acuity 2017-05-16 06:59

Really creative concept! I love the mechanic! The problem I have is that I can't figure out how to beat the game. I collected all the chest things, and I can shoot green squares, but there's no end even when you reach the lock on the bottom floor. It'd be cool to see where this goes in the future though!
