Trying to move through the crowds gave me a good laugh. I actually really like the concept here, could probably be expanded into something more. Great work on this.

jan-sate 2026-04-20 12:58

haha. Interesting theme. Kind of fun to play. Some of the places are too far away that I couldn't reach in time tho. Oh. It seems to be a bit buggy. Some of the tasks just got completed automatically. :P

meta-link 2026-04-20 13:04

@indigowolf I'm glad that you like the crowd, it's my favorite part too  I do had a lot of ideas, but in the end it's a two days jam ! Thanks for playing

@jan-sate I just saw your comment as I was uploading a hotfix for this bug  Thanks for testing my game !

jan-sate 2026-04-20 13:21

@meta-link I can confirmed that the bug has been fixed. The arrow looks more opaque than the old one as well. I've just revised my rating of your game for accounting the absence of the bug.

meta-link 2026-04-20 14:46

@jan-sate Oh thank you, it's really kind of you to have taken the time to test it again ! I'll be sure to check your game when I start rating games :pray_tone1:

I liked the music and the look of the game. After completing each type of task once and running from one end of the festival to the other I felt like I needed more motivation to keep going. The sound effects were good, completing tasks felt satisfying and I genuinely felt stressed when tasks piled up. Great game!

ukulelefury 2026-04-22 14:43

Lol, very fun! I love the art and models. The level and crowds are really well designed. Great panning audio. It felt almost to forgiving though! If I realized an arrow pointed to the far side, I'd just be lazy and give up. ...Don't hire me for event maintenance!

2026-04-22 14:45

The atmosphere was superb; I could really feel the difficulties the staff faced maintaining the concert. The visuals were also incredibly detailed. Every time I had to overcome obstacles and navigate through crowds to repair the sound system, I felt like I was right there, wanting to yell at how crowded it was! The only problem might be that the gameplay is too simplistic. It would be better if there were more progression elements, like using loudspeakers to create a clearing path and making the game more challenging; I think that would have made it much more interesting.

sinemual 2026-04-23 04:27

The feeling of moving through the crowd is really well done! The 2D main character looks a bit out of place because everything else is in 3D. But overall, great work!

meta-link 2026-04-23 13:20

@noob117 @ukulelefury @neochar @sinemual thanks to all of you for playing and reviewing my game, I'm really glad that the crowd works so well

soundgnome 2026-04-25 04:08

I really like the music fading in & out depending on where you are.

steveofstevesgames 2026-04-26 14:22

I love the look of this and the level, its a crazy mix. Really feels like im at a festival.

zbrogdom 2026-04-27 20:11

A nice, chill game. An original idea considering other works in this theme. The graphic style would be more consistent if the main character was in 3D.

thunderklaus 2026-04-27 20:22

It hits the festival mood nicely. Working your way through a bunch of people feels realistically unnerving :-)

adam-gould 2026-04-28 12:34

I'd like to echo the other comments regarding how well the crowds were implemented. The overall feeling does evoke festivals very well!

However I think the inconsistency between the player being 2D and everyone else being 3D was a little strange, and doesn't the fact you used someone else's audio make this an ineligible compo entry?

anku 2026-04-29 18:04

A solid compo entry. Great work on the sound design and visuals. Gameplay-wise, it’s not immediately clear what you’re supposed to do at the start, but after a while it clicks-and once it does, the game feels noticeably better.

bentglasstube 2026-05-01 16:29

This was a super unique entry. I really loved the art style and the crowd that got in your way felt really well done. There was an impressive depth of the game with the radio signal scrambling the text and making the timers not show up. I definitely got stressed out trying to fix the damn speakers that kept breaking on the other side of the festival and the dang people would not move! Really great entry, thanks for sharing.

henk 2026-05-04 00:37

radio: "speaker's broken, is this your fault?"

me, intentionally not fixing any of the speakers:

collapsed under stress with score over 200

Chasing arrows through a crowded festival somehow made me smile. The panic when tasks stack up feels real, and the art style is lovely.

meta-link 2026-05-06 15:33

I don't want to notify everyone, but again thanks to all of you for trying my game and having fun with it :bow_tone1:

ethan-allwood 2026-05-07 03:59

Game did a great job of capturing the feeling of pushing through a crowd of people. Great atmosphere and the audio switching up when running between areas worked well!

oddballdave 2026-05-07 21:10

The graphics are awesome. Moving around the festival was indeed 'stressful', and I echo what everyone else has said about moving through the crowds. It's a simple concept, but you execute it really well, and it had me playing for much longer than I probably should. Great work. Good stuff :8ball:
