More fun when together, the sword hitbox is funky sometime tho. But making a split screen game in this time is impressive, good work!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Team or Greed?

I like the idea. Reminds me of gauntlet 2.
Having to play with 4 people can be hard to achieve. Even because some of the keys mapped don't work on most laptops. :|
Haha we just played at two player and all we said since is: "Kuga! Kuga! Tiiing! Tiing!" :D
I liked the idea very much, very good use of the theme! Sound effects were funny! Multiplayer support was a nice touch!
When playing, what missed most was feedback. Am I being hit? Did I hit him? The information is on the screen, but it's hard to look at my HP meter and at the play field at the same time. As you mentioned, "hitreg" isn't perfect either. I believe that if you improved these two points (feedback and hitting), the player experience would improve a lot!
Even though it is lacking at some smaller aspects, I do think that it is really cool that you made a split screen game :) Really cool idea. My computer can handle 4 input keys at the same time so that was good and all! As LMB said, visual feedback would be nice to have, but still good nontheless!
+Nice idea. The game has potential
+Split sceen multiplayer! That's impressive!
+Graphics is OK
+/-Sound effects are funny, but too few
-As already mentioned lack of feedback makes this game much less fun to play
-As you said movement and colisions are bad. No music
-For me the game crashes at some point (Linux)
Looking past the unfinished or clunky parts, it's cool that you managed to make a splitscreen multiplayer game! It's a bit on the easy side, but it's fun to cut enemies up.
Finishing a compo game is challenging, so I understand the lack of music. Good job!
Even though it does feel a bit unfinished, I love the idea and you've got an interesting game here. Im in the same boat with needing more votes so check it out if you've got the time. Thanks.

I seem to encounter a crash every time I reach the top of the level =(
@linear if you may can try to start the jar via console and on crash send me the stack trace, for learing and fixing purposes ;)
