A nice and simple game with bugless gameplay and good graphics.
Simple game with a nice art style. I liked the music but I found the gameplay to be a bit bare and slow. Great game otherwise. Good job!
Simple bare game that seems rather slow. It is good as a concept and bugless, but requires additional mechanics to keep player playing...
Adding pirates or some other encounters could improve that Better economic model (more goods and making them more expensive/cheap based on supply/demand model) Etc.
Anyways nice start and I appreciate it is completely bugless.
A technical comment: Is there any way to play this thing without going through an installation process? No offense, but I'm not eager to install something that might clutter up my machine when I'm done.
Good job finishing your first game jam! Graphics and sound sets a good mood, I like the touch of the fishes, sharks and occasional rain. The biggest problem is the gameplay as there's really no challenge, no stakes and hardly anything to manage. Most of the time is just spent passively waiting which isn't really fun. I'm sure you had more things planned and the game can probably be expanded with more time. Making a game in just a few days isn't easy but I hope you'll continue participating and improving :).
Congrats on your first Ludum dare release! I'm always attracted by game with old ships and commerce, good job.
I agree, there needs to be more interactivity. I have the game running in the background as I write this (waiting for my captain to sell the last 2 goods). The attention to detail is great though. The fish and weather effects and music is nice and calming.
I like the graphical details like fish, clouds, rain, day/night. The sound effects and music are very nice too. But I don't feel like I'm playing a game because it just goes, and even at port there aren't very significant decisions. I don't see how it fits the theme at all. So it seems like a lot of your time was probably spent on the less important extras, and it would make a better overall game to focus first on the gameplay. It's hard to focus and prioritize in such limited time!
Nice graphics and music. The clouds and fish looked great! However, this didn't really feel like a game since there didn't seem to be a losing condition. I wasn't a fan of having to install it to try this game out. Overall, this game had a great style and I can still appreciate the polish that went into this. Good job!
this game is very relaxing
I like the graphics, but the game play is veeery slow. Maybe a speed up button?
The fish were Very Good. Loved those little guys!
Nice game with perfect art and sound. The sound of coins and the weather system, and the ecosystem under water all bring extra points. I just sit there and watch my ship trade with other's. It's very comfortable and relaxing. Maybe a bit more variety cuold be added in to make it more fun and surprising while still remain as a relaxing art.
I haven't seen much where the theme comes from however...
I like goal of the game and awesome underwater environment.
Really boring. Not my cup of tea. It needs some actual gameplay. Graphics are great.
Good graphics, reminds me of my favourite game; Colonization. Give it some polish
The game is too simple. If You add some mini games or events it will be better. But it's not bad. :) Good luck!
