Fun game! Was enjoyable zipping around the city and bouncing off baloons.
this is a pretty good game. though it seemed like the only way to get at the baloons was to hit a car. not sure if thats the right way, or maybe im just bad :D one thing you could add is a free play mode, like in the tony hawk games and let us just run around and learn the city having fun.
Very fun to traverse the city, and the graphics are great, sometimes even the cars help a lot. High score? :sunglasses:

Fun game!! At first it was a bit difficult to see where the discs were, but as I got used to the layout of the city I could find them a lot easier. Was really funny to see the character get flung around when hit by cars and that actually helped me some times lol. The graphics were the best part in my opinion, super polished. I'm a sucker for this shiny futuristic look.
Hello here nice game ! Especially liked the environnent, i would love to see a real time xcom fight with alien here :) (the design of the game remind me a lot of the urban environment of xcom 2 x) )
Oh right @jcmonkey i didn't explain it correctly on this page, you CAN actually go in freeplay, if you didn't deliver the first package, the timer doesn't start and you can go around freely, also for the baloons, you have to get higher then them to hit em, so either try to get to some rooftops or to the edge of the city where the roads are higher! we tried to encourage vertical gameplay :D
Cool game! The idea is fairly simple, and it was well-executed. I love the simple implied tutorial where you're immediately given the CD and where to deliver it to, sort of introducing the player to the mechanics of the game right from the beginning without using any text. However, I do find it a bit hard, and since my laptop is pretty laggy, I couldn't get that high of a score, 5 was my best  and that was after a lot of attempts. I also do feel like the movement is a bit janky, I think that left and right should just turn the player, and not move. Maybe that's just me tho. Overall, great game! Well done!
There seems to be so much for the game jam. Very polished entry
Lotta good work here! I love the movement, I love the environment, I love the vibe- ya'll should be proud. If you wanna improve it post-jam I think more feedback would be nice, speed lines, balloon popping particles, but it's already pretty great. Well done!
Liked the models and the overall color scheme of the city. It could be fun to have a little more inertia to the movement and rotations. I also often lacked just a bit of distance when jumping between buildings and instinctively wanted to double jump, I think it would fit the game quite well.
Pretty fun game! The city setting looks cool and despite a little lag on my laptop the controls felt responsive. Maybe the UI could be more polished but it gets its work done. A simple yet fun game!
Fun little game, the controls could use a little tweaking (I wish I could have taken sharper turns) but I like that I could climb the big tower. I honestly spent more time just messing around with the movement and the controls more so than actually collecting and delivering the discs. Well done!

I really like the city and hoverboard concept, looks cool. The camera for me is what doesn't work really well, I wish I could move the camera with my mouse, since the only way of rotating the camera is while I turn it makes me a bit motion sick. Oh and I got stuck here and couldn't get out
But overall, really cool!! Congratz to the team

Traversal is super fun in this game. Movement fells smooth and fluid, and so dynamic! I loved that you can get a height/speed boost by being hit by a car . My only wish is to be able to look up to target a balloon - but nobody ever looks up
Graphics are very cool. Clean, polished and fitting the setting in their slickness.
Very well made entry!
Very fun game! I like the city :D Very polished game jam entry! GG
I had a fun time with this! I only realized close to the end of my play through that I could get a launch with the car, and had some fun with what time I had. I got 7 disks! Cool entry!
Nice visual and controls and cool idea with balloon pops. I'd add some momentum to the movement - it seems that any input overrides motion completely. It would improve hoverboard feel.
A fun game city view is amazing Good Luck
This is a proper little game! Feels complete for just 3 days, good job!
The game looks cool, but I'm playing on Linux with Wine emulator and it is painfully slow (from my expericence, Unity+Vulkan+Wine combination is a bit broken on Linux). My advice is to add Linux builds on game jams - it is trivial when using Unity, and there's a fair amount of folks who are using Linux these days :)
I don't have hands to play this game, but it looks really fun! You should keep developing it
Chaining multiple balloon dashes feels really good!! But its really hard to get to them, and doesn't feel like the optimal strategy if you want to deliver as many disks (cuz it takes so long to get to them). I wish it was because its the most fun part of the game
Hey, cool to see another hoverboard game! :) The disk delivering/time mechanic is working great, although sometimes it took me a while to discover the next one. I really liked the idea of the balloons, the grappling mechanics work really nice as well. I felt like the turning was a little too fast, you can get used to it though - otherwise the controls felt pretty good. The graphics fit very well, and the cars were a fun idea as well. Good job!
A really good looking and fine polished game. Like the controls, however, there's almost no challenge in the game. Good job.
Saw this on stream, very impressive. Didn't really understand how the balloons worked, but had great time delivering disks! Really impressive looks, did you got with a palette texture (this guy Imphenzia inspired me to start doing that and lowpoly stuff)? The camera took some time getting used to. I think someone said on stream that controlling camera with mouse would have been cool. Maybe the game could have gotten harder with time somehow, like disks spawning in weirder positions or deliveries to harder places. Not sure! Anyways, very impressive entry, well done!
@wighz Hello! I did use a gradient map for texturing basically everything except the main character & hoverboard, its a nice technique for when you have very little time and still need to model a lot of stuff (an entire city in this case, even with repeated buildings i still had to model 7-8 manually), i just project unwrap in Blender to a gradient, this saves a lot of time usually spent on unwrapping and texturing!
@andreadbx Ah, I tried that out for some stuff that never became a game. The one I used went mostly from bright to dark. I would have loved a gradient palette with some blue-green, green-brown etc gradients. The technique has great potential! I've also played around with some palettes where you can set metallic/roughness and emission by positioning the UVs. Did you work with many individual materials for those settings or one for almost all with the same palette? Sorry for being technical here in the commect section, but it's interesting :D
@wighz i used just a single material shared for mostly everything in the scene, only exceptions were collectables, emissive materials and the character/overboard that had a texture map, my gradient map was mostly squares with different gradients!
pretty polished cool game and mechanics executed pretty well! only thing is I got the feeling of getting lost when I ran out of CD's in my pocket! no direction whatsoever in that situation so it might be viable to add somehthing like a minimap that is just hinting at the general location of unpicked cd s might improve the experience overall!
Thanks for sharing and making this awesome game!
The balloons were innovative, I just wish I could have utilised them more - it'd had made traversing the world more fun! Cohesive art, it all fit together well and set the tone of a not-too-distant future world. Where CDs are valuable artefacts of the past haha!?
I don't get it, and found this game very boring. Also camera needs fixing because it's very annoying when he rotates fast in different directions. In can be a fun game if controls was better, also need some polishing though
The ballons are fun, the speed up too, but it doesn't changed my total mood for the game :(
Nice Crazy taxi vibes. The game loop was simple and clean. Map was awesome and fun to explore. It looks good and sounds good. The movement was the only thing I would critique. I would have loved it to have flowed and slinked more. It felt to fast/ crispy to really enjoy. It was not bad but it could have compelled me to just ride for pleasure instead I was just riding for disks. I could get lost in a game like this if the feels are right. So much great work here. KUDOS
