Wow, the music was great, it honestly might be the best soundtrack I've heard so far. The game play was perhaps a little simple but I'm impressed by how well all of the elements worked together. Well done!

Fantastic soundtrack and a very clean, inspired look. Love all my little protozoa friends!

Made me think of old 1950's spot illustration doo-dads with JetSet Radio music, very nice!

akirassasin 2017-05-02 02:29

Very chill soundtrack! For some reason though, all the protozoas like to clump at one corner and hide outside the screen :)

Really liked the soundtrack and the player model/animation. Simple but nice

@ruthiepee, very cool concept, game looks great, sound design is well implemented as well. I found that all the bacteria would float to the left and pile up at screen left. Also maybe im just bad at it but I dont think its possible to win the game, I just couldnt befriend all those cool guys in time. Great entry though!

Nice music, mellow. (It played once and didn't loop.) I also dig the art style. The game is really not that fun though: after you smash the spacebar while wiping the screen, you then run around and clean up after the hombres until you get bored or you get lucky. Maybe if when you spew out your cloud of friendship you added a knock back effect on nearby entities? That way you could try to separate the hombres from your friends.

Really dug the music! Gameplay was pretty dull, just run around as fast as you can mashing the space bar before the enemies (which look too much like everything else) turn them back brown.

Goood and simple. I liked the music. But maybe there should be some sound effects

I did spread the love <3 <3

Nice experiment ! I liked the visuals and the music, it's simple and expressive, congratulations ! With some more time I think your gameplay could have gain a lot, it's true that how it is right now it's a bit repetitive, but it's a good and solid base for more if you'd like to push it further.

Good job, it's rated <3

Really good music! The controlls were slightly difficult to manage for me. I like the idea. Congrats!

Simple but fun game, easy to play and the music was very moody too. The art style is also simple but fits the gameplay well. LOVEly indeed :)

Like everyone else, I loved the music and the overall visual style. I didn't immediately understand that I couldn't convert the larger shards, once I understood that I really felt that there should be some way to at least deter or stun them, otherwise it just falls on blind luck to win.

Overall I feel like your entry has a lot of polish, it feels really smooth and refined; a quality that's often missing due to the rushed nature of the jam.

Nicely made, well polished games.

The "farting" is so sweet and innocent without SFX, which is not a bad thing. It would have been a much different micro-world if you had included a fart synthesizer.

Nice game! I really enjoyed it, even though it started with a big lag.. :/ Really good work.

those-30-ninjas 2017-05-05 17:20

I feel like pressing spacebar to make the cloud was unnecessary since there is no cooldown and no reason to not use it. I just spammed it the whole time. You could have saved me a lot of button presses by just having it happen automatically all the time. The barriers on the left and right side let me get off camera but the top and bottom ones don't. The music fit the game nicely and the art was simple and clean. Good entry overall.

p.s. great name for the game lol

andyman404 2017-05-06 05:13

Cool game! I couldn't beat it though because some of those things went off the side of the screen and I couldn't see them anymore. I enjoyed the art and music.

I'd agree about the music and I loved the spacey feeling of the game. Nice and relaxing. I didn't get 100% of them - but it was fun trying. I'd come back and have another go :-)

tommyflower 2017-05-08 10:15

Lovely experience, mainly dued to the music and smooth movements. Nice idea! Was it possible to make the big ones go blue as well? At some point everyone floated to the left of the screen and went outside of it .. Would love to see different schemes of this with a time mechanism maybe, but even without it it's a nice game.

mashas 2017-05-15 19:31

You need to be fast to win the game. If you take too long the bad hombres (I'm not saying all of them are bad but some certainly are) gravitate to the left side of the screen and keep huffing and puffing on them bros faster than you can win them over. Great visuals, music and gameplay! The music reminded me a bit of "All is full of love" by Björk in the beginning.

A bit short though. A few levels with increasing difficulty would have been nice. One of the best compo games I've played so far! Well done! :)

numnumdude 2017-05-17 01:41

This game is pretty relaxing. The nice music, simple graphic style that I like, and the basic gameplay makes for a relaxing game. If you could expand this yet still keep the core of the game simple, it could be a lot better. Nice application to the theme.

foolmoron 2017-05-17 02:58

Acceleration on the ball feels really good. That weird frozen crystalline shader is awesome and looks really good from a top-down perspective. Definitely wish there was more to the gameplay, some platforming or something since the controls could definitely work for more complex stuff. The music is David Wise-esque to me which is cool.
