I hope the new download will work...
The engine is so slowwwwwww.
Nice! Good art and gameplay. If you were to continue this game I think the fire should spread slower, you should have more health, and move faster. Most times I play I last only about two minutes.
Cool, I love the way it fits the theme.
Nice! Now that I think about it, I should have done something more along the lines of management too. I had a person at 99% in the line and then the workday ended right there!
The gameplay is really weak, and I thought it was dumb that the code papers were stored in your inventory in the order you got them rather than the correct order. It made it frustrating trying all different possible combinations of the same four numbers. You should have made the code papers appear in the right order or make the box take all combinations. Also the lock on the window doesn't change when you finally get the right code so I just thought the code was wrong. In the end it took me so long to find the right way to beat it only to get a "I escaped!" screen. It was only hard because of the time limit too. Overall a pretty weak game.
The graphics are good, but inconsistent, it is also confusing that money and spikes are just sitting around in a cave, but who cares. The physics are a slow and weird too, you can fall through things and clip blocks a little bit. This game really reminds me of old PC games. The jumping noise is a bit annoying, and the game could use some music. It doesn't really fit the theme either, the level design is okay. Overall it's just kind of "meh".
Very good game. I like the art style, and it's consistency. The audio and controls are not bad. I love the main mechanic and application to the theme this game has! Level design was great until the late BC's, then it became more about timing and less puzzle solving. I gave up at around 1 BC which was sad because I really liked the game. Nice job.
This is amazing! I love the graphic style and how consistent it is. Specifically, I like how the Earth gets thingies put on it depending on your choices. I like the whole idea and mechanics of the game, and it fits the theme great! The audio is really good, the music is nice and I like the sound effects. Finally, the text that appears after you make a choice can be pretty funny, "The people learned how to make lots spaghetti". This entry is just so great.
The art style is nice, and reminds me of older flash games. The audio sets the whole mood for the game, and goes well with the point-and-click gameplay. This game fits the theme nicely, and is fun. Beating the game felt very rewarding. Some criticism I have is that it's too short, it would be so much better if it was longer. Also, the screwdriver was almost impossible to make out with my eyes, and you kind of need a storyline for this type of game. Please keep working on this, because it's a pretty good game.
This game is good once you figure out what to do. I liked the graphics, and I also loved the use of sound. Gameplay is good, but could fit the theme better. The atmosphere is just perfect, it made me feel what I assume is exactly what you want me to feel. Nice!
The graphics are boring, and the game isn't interesting at all. The spawning is broken and the firing sound is annoying. You also should never have to list off bugs to everyone before they play, most of the game page is just you doing that. But I guess you didn't have much time at all, so at least you tried. Good job, I can't wait to see it polished up.
This game is great! The graphics are well-made, the audio is good, I love the chiptune! The gameplay is easy to understand and get into, and it's pretty fun also. Like @samusoidal said, the night cycle is too short with not enough action, definitely needs a little polish and more features though. The day counter doesn't work either, and the plot is a little cliché. Good job on this one.
Very interesting idea, it fits the theme well too. It would be better if you had to pay for items or something like that, the whole thing just felt a bit slow. I liked the idea of having to click a castle to move the camera, but the scrolling was a bit glitch. Graphics are overly simplistic, but I can't expect much from a game that big made in three days. Overall decent.
I find this weird. The art style is kind of inconsistent, and I don't really understand the game. I mean it told the story in a very odd way. Sound is good, decently fun.
I guess you could say I just don't get it, controls were unreliable and kind of annoying.
The controls are weird, and the game crashes on the second level if you move the tank forward and then attack the guy on the same turn. The graphics are nice and the whole game is a good idea and application to the theme, the music is also good. You could have used a little more polish to the whole thing though. Nice game!
The idea was okay, and it fit the theme okay too. I wish it was taken a bit further, like maybe some powerups or added planets, I don't know. The graphics were good, but when you walk around the planet it gets really confusing and woozy. I enjoyed playing for a bit, so I guess it was fun. Overall, it was decent, but nothing special.
This game was pretty fun. The graphics style is nice, the audio fits well, and this is overall very funny. I love how this fits the theme, nice job!
I REALLY like the idea for this game, and it fits the theme too! It's fun, and kinda reminds me of Super Mario 64 in a sense. The graphics are simplistic, yet pleasant to look at. Especially with the particle effects. It could use more variety though, the custom mode isn't enough for me. Difficulty is definitely well balanced. Nice job.
The graphics are amazing for pixel art, but the beginning story part was *way* too long, at least it was funny though. The chill music is a very nice touch.
Once you got to the actual game it was okay and held my attention for a while, but I didn't complete it because I didn't have a large incentive and at that point I was too bored of the game. Good job.
I really like this game! The grapple mechanic is fun to use and works well, I like that you can only attack the enemies when they're white. The graphics are simple, and that doesn't hurt the fun at all, but it could be so much better with the graphics and models taken up a notch. There isn't a lot of audio, and this could fit the theme a bit better. Other than that, nice job!
The graphics are okay and consistent, the textures and models were a bit odd though. I liked the whole gameplay concept, but I wish there was more destruction animations to make it feel more real. The controls are a bit odd, but playable. Audio was okay too. Maybe you can keep working on this and add more levels and polish it up a bit.
I loved the starting and ending animations. Nice job.
I'm not a big fan of clicking games. I found myself just clicking random buttons, but it I still did good. The graphics are not great, and there isn't even audio. The game doesn't even stretch itself to fit the theme. This could be a lot better, but keep working at it!
The physics are great, but it was just impossible to do anything. I just keep exploding! The graphics are good though. Not anything amazing, but others disagree.
Even if it isn't very complete, I love the idea. It fits the theme and is very fun to play, the graphics are simplistic but I like the style. The water could flow a bit better though.
Wow! This game is great! Well at least I assume it is. I really love the idea of an online multiplayer pushing game, and it fits the theme well too. The graphics are phenomenal and the audio is too. I never got to play with anyone, but I like that you took that risk. The game is also very polished, I'm out of words for something made in three days. Like @kwisarts said, you absolutely NEED to keep working on this. I bet with lot's of work it could go on somewhere like Steam and have it become very popular.
This needs more comments... It's so amazing.
I have to say, this isn't very fun. The graphics are okay, and so is the music. But it isn't *fun*, which is really what you need. I like the how you interpreted the theme though. If you kept working on this and added a *lot* more features, it could be good. Controls are a bit funky too, but I don't know how to specifically describe it.
@miaw Hmm, that's wierd. Maybe I can figure out a fix.
@adhesion I didn't make the criminals get faster, I made them spawn at a higher rate. Strange that you experienced the exact opposite.
I should probably try and port the game to MonoGame, maybe that would help.
I LOVE the take on the theme! It was very enjoyable to collect more tentacles and maneuver my hands around to progress. The sounds were very fitting too, and the graphics are absolutely amazing for a Ludum Dare game. I have nothing else to say, great job!o
The graphics were okay, it just seemed too variable and straining on the eyes. The controls felt stiff and slow, and I wish you could fire faster. It was really hard to hit the pirates! When you did, it very little damage was done! The gameplay of transferring cargo was a good idea, but I don't see how it relates to the theme. The more cargo you have, the more pirates come? I don't know. I kept running into asteroids and I had a hard time locating the stations even with the arrows.
I have to admit, I got lost in the game and forgot about rating. The simplicity yet sheer fun of this game is amazing! The graphics are great too, especially the UI. I wish there was some music though, which would really make the experience much better. I feel like all the stats are overwhelming, and the game moves a bit slowly. I guess that's just how the game relates to the theme. Great job making this in two days!
Amazing graphics and sound. It was really fun to swing around and avoid obstacles. Collecting objects was fun too. The game did have it's challenges though, and I feel like more effort should have been put forth to the grappling mechanics than the other really polished parts of the game. Ghosts were kind of annoying, I like how the game progresses and is fairly linear, unlike arcade style games. Also the camera turns were kind of annoying. Great level design and atmosphere. A solid and astounding entry!
I like the simplicity of this game, and it fits the theme okay. The graphics were all over the place and had NO defined style at all, could have been better. The music was good, and I like how you had to strategically balance which items you should pick up. The jumping is WAY too floaty, and the game never really increased in difficulty. Overall, pretty decent.
I love the take on the theme. The graphics were sub-par, but the gameplay is good for what seems to be your first Ludum Dare game. Congratulations on completing something! It was fun to try and balance out my weight with the balloons, (whenever they showed up.) The game could have used some audio, which would make the game much better. There were some minor glitches too, but that is expected. I really hope you can improve and make many more jam games along the line!
