Super cool concept and very well executed, fire spreads too fast for my taste, would love an easy mode :P

Good work! The art is nice and the gameplay is simple and straightforward. The fire grows too quick and some times it just appears below your feet without warning just after you extinguish it, tho. ALso, one house is not one room, lol. But good game overall :-)

Good work. Keep 'em coming :)

Buen trabajo! Aunque el fuego tarda mucho en apargarse jajaja

Yeah nice artwork. Good concept. First I counted more than one room... but I hate it to rate a game by its theme. I love the idea and the gameplay very much. Good job.

Cool game, I like this graphic. Its quite hard to extinguish fire in later game and I think that house is too big, or player moves to slow

This game is too adorable. I wish fire grew in random places, sort of broke the magic to see it was always in the same spots.

Oh, and the game starts you almost out of the house not yet knowing what's going on. Maybe spawning the player by the fireside would help linking gameplay and menu.

Good job!

Nice! Good art and gameplay. If you were to continue this game I think the fire should spread slower, you should have more health, and move faster. Most times I play I last only about two minutes.

I love games with multiple endings! Nice work!

Nice game guys, I think the difficulty of the game is a bit high, and I would like a sound indication when the fire goes out. The music fits very well with the game environment! ;)

ludipe 2016-12-15 00:48

It's a nice concept. Would play a more polished version of it.

Movement on this one was a bit too slow and frustrating; I believe being able to act faster and go from one place to another would make the overall experience more fun.

Congrats on completing it! :-)

Lovely game! so cute! and some interesting levels! The collision don't seem to work 100% properly. But good work!

bubsypoochies 2016-12-16 14:22

Nice game guys! Art was super cute, controls very straightforward and music very fitting for the fire catastrophe. It would be cool if fires started at random places (maybe with a house map to indicate the place?) so it would provide a bit more of variety. In any case, I really enjoyed playing it, congrats on making this!

The graphics look very good, but the gameplay feels a little clunky.
The character is slow, the fire spread too fast and is hard to know when the flames are really extinguished. Anyway, these are just balancing issues, the core game is well thought.

Buen juego, seguid así

Fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/OCZRRN3xYEY

The concept is really good, though I feel that the fire spreads kinda too fast, and the player moves kinda too slow (well, I felt kinda slow :/).

The art is really well done, feels a bit like cutout animation, since it uses vector-based sprites. :P Really nice. The audio selection also is really good, really sets the mood for the game. :)

Controls work nice but, as I wrote above, movement is a tad slow, compared to the fire spread rate, though it can also be a challenging factor to the game, which isn't bad at all. ;) One thing I missed was being able to shoot diagonally. :P

Good Work! :D
