Hi Endurion, yeah sadly it does require Java... Which platform are you on? The windows file should have opened a link for you to install a version of java...

Hi Endurion, yeah sadly it does require Java... Which platform are you on? The windows file should have opened a link for you to install a version of java...
I'm not sure how long I would keep playing a game like this, but I enjoyed it for a short period, really like the atmosphere. Love the art / music style too.
Very nice music to click around to. It took about the right amount of time to work out what to do ;)
This was such a pleasant surprise. Really fun little game. Love LOVE the graphics, especially the cute roomba
My eyes played tricked on me with the perspective on this one, but I had fun with it!
Hey - I'm excited to check this out but all the links (except source) 404 for me - is the game not published yet?
Yeah, this is right up my street. I liked the humour and the artwork especially. A fun little game for a tired post-jam brain.
I struggled with this one - couldn't work out which would be the correct button to press, and if I went by colour alone I'm not sure I ever had enough time to get to the right button. I also didn't hear any sounds? Seems like there's a cool idea in here, just didn't quite get to it.
Yeah, definitely a cool idea, hope you continue to work on it!
I really loved this - laughed out loud when I saw what was going on.
Really like the idea and look of this. Found it a little hard to get to grips with - couldn't easily move the room to the guests. It was also very fast!
One of my ideas was around a mailroom as well, but it was not as cool as this :) - very much like the gameplay. Some of the controls are understandably a bit fiddly.
Nice choice for the theme ;)
Cool graphics and gross sound effects
Unfortunately I found the gameplay a bit confusing, didn't quite work out what I was trying to achieve. Seems cool though.
This was hard - very quickly overwhelmed. However, really had fun, and had quite a few goes. Really impressive game-feel for a jam game:
- The particle effects were totally worth it :)
- The ability to push some enemies back with spells was a nice mechanic but also felt good
- Pushing things into the fire was especially satisfying
Probably spent more time playing this than I should have - really quite fun for a prototype, and I think the idea is great . The music is especially impressive!
Actually laughed out loud at this game. Really enjoyed it. Got to 76 seconds with my best attempt. Really like the art style
This is cool, but I was never really sure how to reach the goal. Love the game-of-life / mixer combo of mechanics, and the music worked really well. Random amusing comments made me smile too.
Definitely cute - much more interesting than I first thought, ended up playing until the end. Some issues where I think the collision rects for the ice things are maybe a bit off? Great stuff though.
Really enjoyed the graphics. And the key assignment part at the beginning! Fun little roguelike
Struggled to work out how to play initially (didn't realize you could use the mouse) but I really like this - cool graphics, nice music, and a lovely concept.
Kind of cool. Definitely a little hard to understand how much stuff was consuming etc. but more engaging than I expected. I started out by running into loads of bushes of food, then became really great at woodworking, then couldn't feed everybody :D
Great idea and really unique and challenging. Very cool. The one aspect that felt a little unfair was the slippiness of the platforming.
This is really nice. Found the slippy controls a little hard to deal with when I was doing the big jump to the right, but a really cool experience
really enjoyed this, and especially loved the hand drawn art. didn't stick around to earn enough to buy the ring! The fight statuses made me chuckle
Wow, really atmospheric, loved the enemy design. Creepy!
Cool idea, and nice execution. Particularly liked the bodies animation/graphics
Very cool idea :)
pretty cute little game :)
Was a little unclear how to win a round, but I had fun bouncing around!
This is really nice, a little creepy but unique and interesting. Audio very nice.
@nikita-demidov sorry about that :/ - it was being problematic during the jam - sometimes a reload helps. Otherwise, what browser/ os are you using?
@lars-erik thanks so much!
Hey! I'm probably dumb but don't seem to have anything to click on or do at the first page? Tried in Firefox and Chrome (on Linux) - and can't see any relevant errors in the logs ( there's one, but it's just about a source map)
cool idea, nicely put together. Wow these little guys can produce a lot of poo.
Looks cool and was fun to try and walk around - would agree with others that it's a little unclear what's going on. A very nice entry!
A more kind of chilled vibe than I was expecting given the theme - but in a good way. Combination of sound and graphics was surprisingly evocative! Struggled a bit with the collision detection - at one point got stuck on a solar panel :) The main thing I would say is that it's quite hard to see exactly what you're meant to be doing - perhaps more in-game signposting would be good.
Wow, really great game. Love the look and feel, and can imagine more depth of levels emerging. Well done!
This is cool. I like the graphic style and how coherent it all is. Wasn't quite sure exactly what my strategies should be in growing stuff, but I enjoyed the time I spend with it.
Nice one! Liked the enemy designs and the difficulty curve felt about right.
Ha, this was weird, disturbing and fun all in a good way.
Nice little game - in particular the tutorial signs were pretty smart.
This was a lot of fun even though I wasn't sure what I was doing most of the time. The idea of the xray-vision is done really well, and love just being able to litter the floor with body parts etc. Was definitely a bit of a struggle to work out exactly what to do at first - maybe the vision should be on by default as I nearly gave up before reading the tutorial
Haha this is cool. Noises are a bit harsh at times, and I found it hard to get very good at aiming with the controls . Really cool entry tho!
definitely like the idea of the two game modes - and as others said, can be hard to pull those two together in a jam. A fun one :) My main criticism would be the feel of the platforming, I would prefer if it felt more weighty.
Very nice idea! cool to see something different done with the super time force mechanic. Had a lot of fun with this one.
had fun with this once I realized I should look down :) Like the mood of this one.
As others have said, struggled to work out how to make the bagels. really cool art though, and some cool nice ideas. really enjoyed buttering my bagel to reveal more text, this is such as nice way to do expository scenes with text!
A really nice puzzle, and great chill music
Wow, loved this. great sound, great mechanic, great graphics - love the big bouncers. Well done!
Really had fun with this one, good work! Controls could be slightly less floaty but enjoyed it a lot.
This is really nice. Cool, original idea, and works really well.
Very nice - you're right to say not quite a game but I enjoyed the experience, quite calming!
Found it pretty hard (could not get to the end!) but had fun with it. In particular the audio and gfx when running out of oxygen were nice.
Had some fun with this one, enjoyed the "cryptic" manual :)
Found all the items but couldn't find how to escape :) Like the style, nice and creepy.
Nice game - the control scheme was challenging but fun to try and master!
Really well executed concept. Pretty hard! is it do-able? Could imagine further levels with different star shapes (maybe there are, I just didn't get there :) )
Really nice game. - Good sfx and really nice background music - Easy to learn, hard to master! - Nice graphics
- Did find the sprites (esp those spikes!) a little dark to see sometimes. - Definitely a challenge to control!
This is so charming! Love the graphics and music, very nice. Worth sticking around for a few levels.
Ended up playing this longer than expected - fun little game. Building towards sending multiple waves felt really satisfying
This made me laugh out loud, it's a small but neatly formed gem.
Cool game, nice graphics, sound, and overall gameplay and feel. The different zones works well! Felt slow in a contemplative way which I liked, but I did get a little lost before stopping playing. Overall, really enjoyed it.
Nice work! This is very accomplished. Graphics were great and the gameplay was pretty satisfying. Would have benefited from some sfx, and would be good to get more variation in enemies and attacks - all stuff that could be added to this very solid foundation!
Thanks @pbg - yeah would have liked to have shown more, but planning to do an updated release after the compo. Thanks for playing!
Really enjoyed this, although I did end up skipping a few levels. Got lucky with that robot at the end though! Mechanic is nice and novel and it's impressive how much you managed to explore of it in a compo. The audio and humor are the standout aspects for me.
Ok, one, Jenry is an amazing name. Secondly, really fun game! Surprisingly satisfying to play.
Looks cool and I like the sound effects, pretty cute game. Found it a little repetitive after a while but it is a compo game and I can see where it could be expanded on. Nice one!
Nice work! Amazing amount of polish and content for a compo game. Double jump feels a little flakey. Could not get past the third level - how do you have time to reach the extinguisher!
As others have noted, I was fairly confused as to what I was doing, but figured it out a bit. Still enjoyed it! Cool idea.
Wow, the audio is brilliant. Fun game, very challenging. The camera movement was maybe a little bit too hard for straight away on the first level?
This looks amazing, and is really fun to play. Echoing what some others have said, the jump is kind of insane but works well enough. I was also impressed with the amount of gameplay variance even in a jam entry - the tunnel sequence is cool, and the level had a nice exploratory run to it!
Nice game - a very complete experience for a compo entry - especially your first! Graphics are nice, level 3 felt a little too easy
Great job. Loved the soundtrack, so simple yet effective! Perhaps there could be different animation for death vs successful delivery?
Very nice. One of those games I played a lot longer than expected, it has a good ramp up, and the music is really cool! Reminds me of Cloudpunk soundtrack.
Definitely a little challenging to get to grips with but looks cool and an interesting idea, I had some fun.
Thanks @skyward4d @i-am-lloric @renge @weewsa @voidsay @sirjupitron @phoenixofforce for playing!
Really polished! Loved the music in particular.
perfect graphics and builds to a great chaotic endscreen :)
Not sure it worked as intended for me, seemed like there was some lag? HOWEVER, what I did play was really interesting and nicely done. The art looks great and fit perfectly. Nice!
This made me smile so much, really nice game. Love the soundtrack, and the whole vibe.
This was a lot more interesting than I expected - it's nice that you can just keep moving fire around as long as you have enough in place. Feels like it starts to give the player an understanding of how cumulative effects like fire can multiply. Cool stuff!
Absolutely loved the aesthetic, and the exploratory vibe was cool. Control scheme was a little hard to get to grips with off the bat, but not necessarily a bad thing, felt like working out an old computer. Did have to mute the music pretty fast, but there was a kernel of a good background theme there.
This was a lot of fun! Can't believe the time rewind mechanic works so well for jam game. Great work.
love the artwork, had a good time with it!
loved this, especially the music. Great work!
Nice to see some IF crop up here, very enjoyable and funny :)
great level of polish, fun game!
wish the beat kicked in sooner!
had fun with this one! congrats
Hell yes. Very fun! Love the graphics and the gameplay, very cool idea and a good interpretation of the theme. SFX spot on, music was cool.
I didn't expect to keep playing long enough to defeat Cypon but I did in the end - was pretty fun once I got the hang of the directional attack and kiting enemies about long enough to get them. The upgrade cycle was compelling and satisfying to see the fireballs getting better and better. I also really enjoyed just pushing Cypon and friends around with my shield bubble. Nice one!
Ran into a bug where somehow "move down" was always on so I had to refresh and restart, but other than that a very polished game! Controls were a little hard which is just a limitation of being keyboard, appreciate it would have hard to add gamepad support as well. Fun puzzles and a really impressively polished look. Well done!
Couldn't seem to do anything once the game started unfortunately, arrow keys didn't do anything, neither did clicking (or dragging) on the units in the top left corner. Pressing enter and space in the menus did however work, so input not completely ignored.
Anyway, wanted to comment as the style I love, and the sfx+music are fun. Looks like it would be cool!
@comicsans thanks! yeah if I had more time I would have like to introduced the mechanics a little more slowly. Also checkpoints! You're right that crouching is pretty much required after the first encounter. I'm going to carry on working on the game this month so hope to include more areas that require more variety in play style. Thanks for playing!
@commanderstitch sorry yeah it's all about sneaking. Hoping to make some more open, exploration parts of the game this month. :)
Enjoyed it a lot, but agree with other commenters that the controls were a little too "slidy" - would have liked to feel more precision for parkour, but hey, it's an issue I had with my first-person game for this jam too :)
The mood and the music were far more compelling than you would expect for the genre. Well done!
The controls definitely need a tweak (at least for keyboards, didn't try with a gamepad) but cool game idea, nice visuals and nice sfx.
Nice idea, and got pretty complex and interesting. I found the guillotines a little too punishing, and was still a bit confused about where the fire would go in some cases, but had a lot of fun playing it. Cool!
Nice job, and I love your cat, sorry. Think I did a better job of time management than I do in most real-life LDs! One small thing would have been to make the game resizable or full-screen capable as it was pretty tiny on my monitor. Great stuff! Screenshot from 2022-10-09 15-30-11.png
Agree with some other commenters that some initial hint about clicking the panel would be good, but once I got that, I managed to kill cthulu! Super impressive in terms of polish, from the gameplay to the graphics and sfx + music. Really cool game, well done!
Fantastic graphics, sound and overall mood. Struggled a bit to understand how to progress very far, but a really cool idea and would love to see it developed more/ polished. Well done!
Love to see a game made in lisp, very cool. As others have said, controls are pretty tough! That said, loved the graphics and animation style, quite charming. Could be pretty fun!
Incredibly polished as the other comments say. Very good tutorials-as-levels to get you up to speed. In particular, the sound/music are really impressive, love the little replies that your troops give you. Well done!
Fun game, and the graphics + music in particular are really impressive. Found it quite stressful to try and find some of the things (took me ages to work out which documents they wanted) but had fun overall. Nice one!
This is one of the cooler games that play with the theme, time dilation you can control is very cool. Well done!
I enjoyed this a lot - the sneezing was very cute :)
Pretty cool, liked the graphics a lot :) Would have been cool to have the changes be more based around your weapon, maybe different types, or different ammo. Well done!
Chaos tetris - lots of fun and made me laugh. The invisibility thing was not my friend :) Could do with more specific goal than just get as tall as possible, but in a jam makes perfect sense. Well done!
Loved the graphics and sfx, made me smile :) Found it a little too tough to see where I should place my guys to stay out of damage, but had some fun. Well done!
It is definitely a little too difficult to build anything vaguely useful, but it was a lot of fun to watch my terrible rockets twirl about the place. Well done!
A bit too tricky for me, the most toys I managed to create was 3 and certainly didn't have time to consider any of the choices I was making! But really cool entry, the graphic style is lovely, and the overall tone is the right side of creepy :)
A very polished jam game with a fun simple core mechanic. The way you fall over when you die made me laugh out loud. Well done!
One of my favourite games that I've rated for this LD. Absolute banger. Cool concept, carried through with some interesting mechanics, great progression. Love the style and feel, only thing missing is some good eerie music perhaps. Awesome stuff!
Well, I got to the end! Totally bizarre and obtuse, but I liked it, and a cool game to encounter in a jam. Go you, strange game dev ;) Screenshot from 2022-10-09 15-21-58.png
Initially was a little confused about this, but ended up playing a good few more times, it's a nice mechanic! Cool twist on the match three idea.
Damn. This was unexpected, in a good way. Very nice idea with the puzzles and the story aspect. But overall just a great vibe, and well put together. Well done!
Enjoyed the concept, would have like to see more of it. To echo another commenter, I was confused at first, and tried to attack the jack-o-lanterns. That all said, i think the art style and animations are absolutely fantastic, great job there. Perhaps the kill/attack anims could be a bit snappier. I also think this is a good example where some sfx/music could have really elevated the feel of playing it.
Cool concept, personally found it more frustrating than anything after a few levels but then that's the genre! Well done.
Really struggled to score on this one, quite challenging! As others have said, perhaps a bit clearer at the beginning how it works, but cool. Well done!
A good example of how something quite simple can be very engaging and fun to play. Really like the graphics when you are the hunter.
Genuinely a cool constraint to make you think differently about making an image. Also a surprisingly large selection of brushes for a jam game, you should make a painting app based off this :)
Simple but fun idea. Well done!
