The spaceship controls are really enjoyable. Dodging between enemies was fun. Quite sad, the lag precipitate the inevitable death.
Fighting is really hard. After 3 tries, I choose to avoid them completely. Take me time to understand how/when/where to heal her. Empty hearths would have been nice to understand when she's not fully healed. (I finally understand where to heal). The reward for a letter is missing a $ sign. Overall, the game mechanics work well. And after understanding everything, it was really enjoyable.
@sita About "Where to heal", once I saw the indication : It seems quite obvious (same for ammo) and a smart design. Maybe my difficulty to understand came from being too focused on City/Letter mark overlay.
Graphism is so cute. Loved how the monster keep eye contact(s) with the player. This creates an epic duel sensation.
Very cool game. The mouse-clicking become frantic. Dialogs are fun, but they cut the flow of action. Alternative sprites for cooked ingredients would have been a very nice addition.
@frizuo, thank you for feedback. I've put a quite too big delay before attack start after starting to press Mouse1. If you can retry, and get back to me to confirm, it would be very nice of you.
For a first Game Jam, this is impressive. Love the ambience: graphics & audio. "How to play" was a bit hard to understand. Mainly because I didn't read there is a secondary screen ("Income view"). In addition to color-coding shortcut (as said by @bangthewall), you could maybe add a screenshot of "Income view" on this webpage.
Really enjoyed playing it. Physics make it really fun. Trying to throw form while jumping, then watch them bounce was a nice moment. Would be cool, to have a first red or green form a bit earlier. But it was maybe due to randomness.
That's a frantic hard game. It drives up heartrate. Loved it
Good work. Graphics, mouse controls and puzzle put me in a "calm/stealthy mood". On the other side music stressed me out, its seems a bit off.
I had no idea what i was doing during my two first session. But weirdly , i had a good moment. Music is cool. After 4 plays, i still don't understand what the top-right bar means.
Music is cool but was so low volume, i wouldn't have notice it without others comment.
