Great work! This is a fun entry - the graphics and controls could use a little polish, but I really love the upgrade mechanics and the frantic music/sound world. Lo-fi, but in a really effective way. Thanks for sharing your work

Very cool concept. I liked having to adapt my strategy on the fly as the game handed me different weapons. Cypon seemed insurmountable at first, but the power spike with the high-tier bullet upgrades is huge. The shield seemed like a burden at first, but being able to separate Cypon from the crowd proved very useful. Upgrading it seems pointless, though. Good work!
This was a really cool idea for the theme. It's cool that you even got a boss fight in here. By the time I got to it, the game was kinda chugging, though. There were a lot of enemies onscreen.
Fun game, I liked how the music escalated up to the boss spawn, and how you got to pick what weapons to upgrade. reminiscent of vampire survivors and games of the like, could probably remain consistently engaging with more weapons and enemy patterns. nice work!
I wasn't a believer at first, but juicing the projectiles pays off! Feels like there was a breakpoint around rank 6 or 7 where I really took off which felt good.

Ah, it's a Vampire Survivor-like! Very juicy and kept me on my toes, loved the triple shot weapon so I max upgraded it which was like a wall haha. I wound up max upgrading all but the shield. Super fun and I was able to defeat Cypon after a fierce match. Great work!
That was fun! The weapons were all fun to use in their own way. If I had known the laser turned into a turbo laser at level ten, I would have upgraded it much sooner 0_0
I'm not entirely sure what the shield was for though. It was a cool item but if I can't actually attack while it's active, then there's not much point in just being invincible for ten seconds.
To be honest, I didn't expect the projectile attack rate to be that fast. It was kind of bug at first, but it was super fun to use, so I left it as a feature and made an adjustment to the boss' HP amount.

nice little touch on the vampire survivor genre.
I really enjoyed how fun it was to get the projectiles up as fast as they went, 10/10. I can agree I wasn't sure what the shield was for, tho I liked pushing the enemies around. (Why upgrade it? It didn't seem to get MORE shieldy?)
Oh, and I was surprised there was actually a boss, even though it was mentioned. A lot of games like these are just "survive infinite hoards", so I enjoyed that.
I didn't expect to keep playing long enough to defeat Cypon but I did in the end - was pretty fun once I got the hang of the directional attack and kiting enemies about long enough to get them. The upgrade cycle was compelling and satisfying to see the fireballs getting better and better. I also really enjoyed just pushing Cypon and friends around with my shield bubble. Nice one!
Fun game! Triple shot felt overpowered, especially when fully leveled. It also overshadowed the regular shot ability (or at least it would if you didn't have to use it on rotation.) Didn't feel like "shield" should be an ability, since it basically just pauses the game for 10 seconds.

Fun game for a jam! I enjoyed the power cycling and with more attention you could balance the powers and have a fun game on your hands! Reminds me of survive.io on the App Store. thanks for the fun time! Music was an ear worm too it won't get out of my head.
