Great job! Very dark. Even with lots of mechanics missing it was still kind of addicting to drag people back to grandpa for the ol' blood points. It kind of reminded me of Vampire: The Masquerade. The number of spells you planned was wild! I could see a game with a system like that being really fun with combat implemented.
The audio is so good! Bue bla bla bla bla. Overall it's pretty unique and I wasn't expect magic + consuming people, but it was a pleasant surprise. It'd be cool to see all of the rooms and character models fleshed out.
I got confused and stopped playing but the Bue bla bla bla sounds are very funny Graphics style a little bad but I understand making 3D model is hard
Interesting game Lol. Unfortunately I can't seem to get any of my spells to work even after binding them to the mouse buttons (also the slow movement can be really painful). But I have to say I love the grandpa talking sound!

Thanks for the comments, all!
@daniel-foutz yeah I wish I had the ability to implement at least some combat and repercussions but sadly that had to be cut because I wasted too much time on other things :D also I'm glad that you mentioned V:tM because at some point I did draw some inspiration from VtMB. Thanks!
@markymark Agreed, there was still a lot of work to be done. I'm glad you liked the audio!
@sixgamesld Agreed, while I probably wouldn't be able to make beautiful 3D models, I did hope to still have some time to make the characters less boxy. But yeah, it is what it is. Also, would you mind telling me where you got confused? I might be able to help.
@hawke-games Honestly I blindly implemented most of the functioning spells in the last hour so I didn't test them all :D but generally you have to aim at the NPC and they do have limited range (of which some are too short, I now realize). If you see it go on cooldown in the bottom right, then you have successfully casted the spell. If nothing happens, then so be it. But something should change, and that change should/might be visible in the death timer panel. Sadly there is no other feedback on successful casts.
Love the mood in this game, it really makes me want to find all the secrets. Really spot on in that aspect, and I love the presentation... Heading back now!

Bue boo blue bub. I seduced someone, then they pushed me into a wall and I got stuck. Great ideas!

Great sounds and mood! The story was very interesting and I wanted to know how it would end, but I wasn't able to complete the game. Maybe it's because one of my victims ran away through a wall. The upgrades were interesting, but I wish I could unlock faster walking speed. The fact that all walls looked the same made it difficult to navigate the building for me.

@pio the only ending implemented is when grampa dies. If you leave the game running until his death timer it should trigger. What I (sort of) had planned was that if his life was extended enough, you'd bring him to his home where he could extend his life via more ethical means. Or perhaps a plot twist where he consumes you for having obtained too much power.

@frib WOW, those are very cool ideas! It's a shame there is no other ending, but it's still an awesome entry with such a unique story and mood!

Interesting take on the theme. Just by the size of the hospital I can tell you planned a lot more :) Few suggestions from my side: mouse sensitivity feels slightly too high for me and moving speed, especially holding someone, feels quite slow. I'm always impressed when someone creates a 3D game for Compo. Besides that, nice job with the game!

@zimny11 Thanks for your feedback! the general movement speed is a bit too slow, I agree. I planned to add running as well but it's not fully implemented. The weight of the object (or in this case, person) you are carrying affects your speed, so you can mitigate that by either getting stronger or by making them lighter. But this is not communicated properly to the player so it's something that should be improved.
Mouse sens config was on my to-do list in my mind, so naturally I forgot about it in the final hours :D
Webgl worked well enough for me to try it out, I love this :)
LOL this game is hilarious on multiple levels. Grandpa is one sick bastard. Would love to see more variations on the upgrades and themes. With a lot of polish I could see this sort of game going viral.

It is clear you scoped too big but it is amazing the amount you *were* actually able to get done. Despite jankness I had an immense amount of fun. My favorite part was definitely "blah blah blah blaaaah" every time I talk to Grandpa
your game is very suitable for this topic, I like the design and the mechanics of the game surprised me, great game

Very unique ideas and really nice fit for the theme! I loved how ridiculous it all was and at the same time managed to seem very serious as well. I felt so bad about luring all those unsuspecting victims to grandpa after telling them they dressed well, but I felt I had some duty to carry out. The spells choice menus were definitely a bit confusing and cluttery. The yellow font above people was quite hard to read and a bit more contrast would have helped. Overall I think this is a REALLY great idea that just needed a bit more polish and possible smaller scope.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! I'm glad that the jankiness doesn't hurt the experience (too?) much :D and that this random twisted idea turned into something enjoyable!
