Hi! Really cool beat, good to see a racing game, enjoyed this one. Cool zoom at the, wanted to check the car closer.

Hi! Really cool beat, good to see a racing game, enjoyed this one. Cool zoom at the, wanted to check the car closer.
I loved the music. Sad that i had to wait a minute for the others to finish
Good work. But waiting for others to arrive is a bit annoying.
The AI appears jittery and changes speed suddenly. Is this rubberbanding that has gone rouge?
Music was nice. Good tunes to listen while driving away from responsibilities.
It's cool that the races are set up in an open world style. I was able to cut my time down to 30 seconds on the second race by taking shortcuts.
* Great music! * I like the drawing style, especially the dust clouds * The arrow key controls are completely broken for me (can't accelerate and turn at the same time) * There is something weird about the AI. They just follow you exactly where you are and you never get to drive freely, which takes away some of the fun of driving
I like it, but I was able to just cheat and drive off road and hit the exit really quickly. A a little bug at the end of a race where cars wouldn't cross the finish line. But still, decent fun. Nice game.
Hey, this one was really cool! The music is great, and the dust clouds are a really nice touch. The collisions with the enemy vehicles were a bit strange sometimes, like them ramming you fromm behind and then clipping to be in front of you. But overall the gameplay was fun, and I like how the camera zooms with respect to your speed. Great compo entry!
Thanks @skyward4d @i-am-lloric @renge @weewsa @voidsay @sirjupitron @phoenixofforce for playing!
Those physics are... interesting :D At least I could drive completely off road to not bother with the collisions. The art is nice but I guess you ran out of time to do the track and scenery? Music was fun too. Punchy and worked well with the game. Good job!
This was fun! The music is nice, and the art is decent enough. I'm not sure you should be allowed to cut corners this easily though :)
The game looks _very_ nice and doesn't sound any bad at all. Nice to see a racing game on Ludum Dare, seems to be an underrepresented genre to me  Gameplay was good enough for a compo entry, but started to feel repetitive after two or three races. I noticed some glitches. The right (or was it the left?) arrow wasn't working, so I had to use WASD. Also, in at least one race, it was impossible to pass the leader: whenever I went a bit ahead of him, it would jump ahead again, as if it was doing a "short distance teleport" just ahead of me. Overall, a nice entry, thanks for making it!
This game reminds me of the micro machine games of the retro-consoles.
I won a race after taking a big shortcut almost at the end. The AI cheats more than in Mario Kart though XD.
After I won the second race the game did not finished (maybe there is a bug there?)
Nice racing game. My only suggestions are to make the road a little bigger and then have the cars speed reduced if they run off of the road.
Nice atmosphere and game idea. My only issue was that the rubber-banding on the enemies was rather extreme.
You should make it so that you do not need to wait for others to arrive at the finish line to pass the level. Other than that, plays smoothly, making a racing game can be challenging due to all the ai and path-finding issues that arise.
The fact that you don't need to stay on the road at all makes this game really hilarious. The opponents seem to be unbeatable if you do stay on the road in fact. The music is nice and as others have mentioned, it's a bit frustrating to wait for everyone to finish.
The music was funky, the graphics were hand-crafted loveliness, and the controls were intuitive.
It reminded me of RC Pro-Am.
The AI-rubber banding was a struggle to deal with...until I decided that I didn't need roads. In my third playthrough, I decided to drive backwards instead, found some shortcuts, and waited at the finish line.
And one was still almost there before me!
Other than the text explaining the inevitable, I didn't get a feel from it in the race itself.
I had a great time! Thanks!
