really neat game with charming art and AMAZING audio! i love how the music changes when you go into different areas, and the breathing sounds builds to the mood really well too. really good mood setting with the audio. the pixel art is very cute (although i don't quite understand why there are still seemingly random bits of hand-drawn ones) but good job! i oouldn't find a flashlight and grew bored of it after a while, but the controls and everything were amazing.

ksonyanya 2021-04-27 08:45

I've really enjoyed the game! Still didn't get, where I was supposed to get the flashlight. Maybe missed something. Great graphics and music, but the uppper sea theme gets a bit annoying after a while (great though, that it gets changed). Great job!

mrjotubes 2021-04-27 09:26

Thanks for the feedback ! We've added a collectibles location map [here](https://imgur.com/a/CFpuQ7e) and in the submission, if you can't find some of the items to progress further into the cave.

imyellowfish 2021-04-27 12:04

Really nice mood for this game! Also, the short stories on the note are insteresting and make me wonder about what really happened. The storytelling suits the theme as myth are slowly uncovered toward the end. Perhaps there could be more story and characters!

daquxxn 2021-04-27 16:20

Nice relaxing game, love the mood and the music that changes when you go to a different area. I really felt the deeper and deeper theme in the game. I didn't see any end screen though, maybe I missed it! Anyway nice job!!

aerolink 2021-04-27 19:46

@daquxxn Thanks for your feed back, when you collect all the notes (7), there is a final note in the last zone, when you pick it up, it is the "end screen".

aerolink 2021-04-27 20:40

@imyellowfish when we pitched the game, it was supposed to have more character and a little bit more story, but since it was supposed to be at the very end of the game and in the development, we decided not to add it because of time constraint. Personnaly I like it better this way, since it add a layer of mystery.

lumue 2021-04-28 10:47

That was a really cool experience! It's marvellous how you created such an immersive and intricate mood with the music, the visual style (dark, blurred, cool colours + pictorial background) and the subtle yet fittingly effective SFX. Great entry! :fish:

elektroney 2021-04-28 11:27

Nice Game!

legolula 2021-04-28 11:38

Really coolm the metroidvaniaesque feel really works here. Also the music and mood are on point congrats

aerolink 2021-04-28 17:30

@lumue Thank you for trying it out! Glad you enjoyed it!

aerolink 2021-04-28 17:31

@elektroney Thank you

aerolink 2021-04-28 17:32

@legolula Thank you, the metroidvania feel was what we were going for, glad you apprecieted it!

poorwill 2021-04-28 20:32

Hello! I'm afraid the exploration feel of it didn't work for me since the character was just a little bit too slow when I had to backtrack. The flashlight eluded me as well, when I did several loops from different directions (I see from the map where I missed it). I also think that different sizes of pixels never look good in a game.

With all that harsh critique out of the way. I think that you have done a really good job completing a game in such a short amount of time. I think the idea of the game is great and I really want to see what you make next.

audrey 2021-04-28 20:38

VERY glad the music changes after the first area! The piano loop didn't help much for the atmosphere but the next two tracks were AMAZING, even with how short they were. I wish I'd remembered to look at the map you included because the last note took a lot of wandering hahaha. Art was great too, you had this really great mesh of mediums, it made the different resolutions of the diver and the environment not stand out :o) Very good entry, nails the mood perfectly

steffy 2021-04-29 13:30

Swimming around and exploring with no worries about dangers was very relaxing.

zazab 2021-04-29 13:40

Nice game ! As said by others, the pixel art is nice, but it feels weird when mixed with hand-drawn art

javicoder 2021-05-01 10:12

Is a good game, really liked the way of telling the story, the map, and how well done the sound is. Working the graphic part could be improved a lot.

shin0nome 2021-05-02 13:22

Great game ! It's fun and it set the mood really well thanks to the music and the graphics. The fact that you don't have to breath is a nice design choice, it would have been boring to come back to the ship... I think that add something that pt pressure on the player could be a great way to add some pressure to the game loop (it could be a shark that follow you, but never catch you up unless you are too slow... or something like that). Otherwise I had a great time. Good job !

leapyearboy 2021-05-03 10:10

Really enjoyed the art and audio style - the music change on areas was neat. The camera felt a bit close to the player, but worked well with the exploration vibe. The addition of notes brought some humour to the game too!

hefka 2021-05-03 10:24

A pretty nice game! Relaxing and nicely designed, especially considering we just had 3 days! For anyone wondering, you have to play this game as it is designed : a relaxing and narrative metroidvania experience, don't expect so much action or foes ^^! Just found two minor bugs : I managed to break the audio by rapidly zigzaguing in the transition zones, annoying but not too harsh. And the player can move while the inventory is open. Nothing too harsh ^^.

lelulagames 2021-05-03 19:10

It's a very relaxing game, the only thing I wanted was something telling me how many notes I had left to get. I got to the end but hadn't found all the notes, and no idea how many I had left. Maybe something signifying the flashlight was dropped and was underwater, too. I went all the way back up to the boat to get it, like you did at the beginning with the TNT, and nothing happened.

lrvstudios 2021-05-03 20:11

That are a lot of things that i loved about this game, that i'm gonna point the most unic and importants in my opinion.

It's really immersive, the colors and sound changes are amazing, and i found it a nice touch put the "watch pause menu". These three gives some huge weigth for this game. Great work!

The only thing that i should mention that is not so good, is that we don't actually have a clue where the notes are, or how much we should collect. Despite that, it's a great game.

aerolink 2021-05-05 13:53

@hefka Thank you for the feed back, we know about the music bug and tried many time to fix it, and moving while the inventory is open is not so much of a bug, but more like an unintended feature...

aerolink 2021-05-05 13:55

@lelulagames You can see how many notes you are missing by opening the inventory with "i". And for the flash light, it's true that we could give an hint that it's underwater...

aerolink 2021-05-05 13:57

@lrvstudios Thank you for noticing the diver watch menu!! You can see how many notes are missing in your inventory, and as where they are, it's up to you to find them...

ludrol 2021-05-05 18:01

water goes below 4℃ literary unplayable. Cool game a little clunky with graphics and without a map it wouldn't be a fun experience.

tom-ruxley 2021-05-09 23:52

I liked the art style and the atmospheric music! The story was well told too

inno 2021-05-10 19:37

Cool experience.

Got stuck at the flashlight part. Would love it if the movement was a bit faster or if it was possible to plan your path before hand so the game could be played more casually.

Good luck!

tigerfinch 2021-05-10 21:29

Cool game, nice graphics, sound, and overall gameplay and feel. The different zones works well! Felt slow in a contemplative way which I liked, but I did get a little lost before stopping playing. Overall, really enjoyed it.

gaming-night 2021-05-11 19:36

is the name a joke with Da Vinci Code or is it just me?...

rgb-games 2021-05-12 11:36

very nice game. Art looks cool and audio was awesome. Had a lot of fun.

aerolink 2021-05-12 12:06

@gaming-night Yes it is.

lisichka 2021-05-13 15:22

it was interesting

chris15686989 2021-05-17 12:40

The game's concept is good. I found the music a bit monotonous and did not fit into the game's mood. I also did not like the transition of both music tracks from one scene to another one. Overall, a good entry.

ziggykac 2021-05-18 07:50

The music change thing is really cool!
