The Insured Man by rplnt 2019-05-12T12:47:30Z
As other people have said, it was hard to find the enemies and then to target them. Otherwise I liked the idea and the cars driving around.

As other people have said, it was hard to find the enemies and then to target them. Otherwise I liked the idea and the cars driving around.
It is indeed tough with a keyboard, is there a reason why you didnāt make the arrow keys work? (instead of this WASD thing)
Other than that, itās an interesting idea!
@cogcomp Ah indeed, but they do not seem to work when choosing the powerups, though.
Amazing game! At first I was not expecting the TNT to be so bad, so I failed with -1500 or so, but the next three times I finished at around +500. I couldnāt find a chameleon at all, maybe this part should be made easier?
Very fun to play! I didnāt manage to found my own game company though :(
Very fun to play, I managed to beat the final boss on my first try!
Good graphics and music! The gameplay seems indeed unfinished (what does the gold button do?) but itās a good start. Also, whenever I bounce on a goblin, I keep on bouncing on it until the wall without being able to escape.
Nice interpretation of the theme!
Very cool game! The gameplay is good and I like the music too.
It was a bit overwhelming at first to understand what on earth is going on, but after I understood the idea it was quite fun, even though a little bit repetitive.
It took me some time to understand how it works (in particular at the beginning I didnāt realize I could upgrade my cards, and I wasnāt sure what all those numbers meant), but then it was pretty easy to stay alive by simply using two archers to kill everyone, so I arrived to round 50 and then stopped because it didnāt seem to get any harder.
But anyway, except for the difficulty that could be more balanced, itās a pretty good entry, I liked it!
As other people have said, the controls are very clunky, but itās quite good anyway!
I am kinda confused by the way combat works and also what are those numbers in the right panel? The number of cigs of the other teams? Anyway, it maybe still needs some more work but a rather good start :)
The HTML5 version works for me (Chrome). Itās quite a fun game, although with some bugs, I got stuck in the terrain and fell outside the world a few times :D.
Great idea, it was a bit too slow at times, but the concept is very cool!
Very cool game! It was very enjoyable to play even though a few things would have made it even better (the bullets not disappearing after the point where we clicked, not making "stand in a corner" a viable strategy, not have enemies spawning on you). But otherwise, the difficulty is quite well-balanced and the music and the graphics are cool!
Nice game! As others have said, it wasnāt easy and the player/enemies are sometimes hard to spot, but I liked the fact that if you knock an enemy and there is a car behind, they will just land on that car!
Very nice game! A bit short of course, but there is definitely some potential and it already seems very polished. Many rooms were too similar though, maybe there should be more variety. Also the rooms didnāt seem to appear in the same order when I restarted the game, is that normal?
Nice mechanics, although it quickly becomes boring, but I still kept playing until I had space for 100 people :)
Nice game! Quite a lot of content for 72 hours, and the graphics are nice!
The clicking sound is not just a clicking sound. If you open the game with some music playing in the background (e.g. a tab with a youtube video), it changes the sound of that background music! Itās probably due to GBStudio, but I had no idea webapps could do something as radical as thatā¦
Quite easy (once you understand the rules) but fun game, and the graphics are really nice!
Believe it or not but I actually managed to win! Itās quite hard to understand (also why does throwing the earth into a black hole makes your god move???) but all the effects are very cool! The music is very nice too! I found it rather hard to control the earth, as it always stops instead on moving in a different direction.
Amazing game and very polished! Congrats!
Amazing atmosphere! I got a bit lost with all the moving shrooms, though, but nice job!
Nice game! It took me some time to realize that the space bar did something :) My best score before using the free passes was 57, which is not bad I guess.
Very nice game and story! A bit short and repetitive (many rooms with doors), but the mood is good :)
I just mash the keyboard randomly until it gets me to another body part, but it was fun anyway!
Super hard but fun!
Very nice concept with a lot of good ideas, and nice progression between the levels as well. The only thing is that controls are not perfect, itās easy to get stuck to walls and stuff.
Thanks for the comments!
@nisovin : You don't need to start all over when you make a mistake, you can click on the blue button on the right after having flipped exactly one (big) card, and it will turn it into a bunch of smaller cards that you can then reassemble in a different way. I agree it's not very clear :)
Very cool puzzle!
Very nice graphics but I couldnāt figure out how to make the airlock workā¦
Very nice and quite fun, although the controls are quite hard to master.
It doesnāt seem to be working for me. I can click on play, and then I see the controls at the bottom left, the time (ticking down) at the top and the score at the top right, but everything else is just black.
It seems to be a problem with Chrome, I tried with Firefox and it works. It took me some time to understand what is going on, but itās a cool idea!
Quite good! A few things I noticed (Iām not the only one): it would be much better to be able to move diagonally and to understand in which direction we are going to spit, also the yellow box should disappear when not needed as it makes it hard to know if there is a way down. And the sound of the enemy is nice :)
@brtek007 Ok, but at least when youāre moving in one direction and press another arrow key at the same time, it should change to that other direction. Right now I find it quite frustrating to control.
Fun game!
There seems to be a bug on Linux unfortunately, the bird and the ground are all black, so itās impossible to figure out what is going on.
Quite difficult to synchronize both hands, but pretty good!
Very fun! I didnāt realize at first that we lose "flour points" when we get hit (I thought they missed or something), but then I managed to win at my second try. The graphics are very cute :)
Cool game! I really like the graphics and the music!
Iām afraid my character isnāt very good at aiming ;(
Very nice atmosphere! It was not easy but satisfying to reach the goal. I felt it a bit annoying that the camera keeps turning around, it made it hard to figure out where the plant is going. But very nice game overall.
Very nice game! I was somewhat confused at the beginning by all the things possible to do, but I got the hang of it. It just feels like that months go by too slowly, it takes ages before the first rent.
The "lock" minigame is super hard, it seems to lock a bit after we click? And it should make us lose life to fail, just make us try again. But other than that, the concept is quite nice, good job!
It had extremely bad performance on my (somewhat powerful) computer, so I was not able to make it past the first room unfortunately.
@bajtix On Linux (Ubuntu 18.04). It was at the first room, there was a lot of enemies firing a lot of bullets and it was basically unplayable :( I have a laptop with an Intel Core i7 CPU (although only an integrated graphics card).
Very nice, although the final wave was pretty hard!
Thank you so much for all your comments! (how did I get so many ratings/comments while having played only two other games yet? Did my game get featured somewhere or something? First time that happens)
Iāll make sure to play all of your games, as long as they have an HTML5 or Linux version.
@kiguel182
I did try to put some shadows and highlights on the cat itself, but I just realized now that I completely missed drop shadows, it didnāt even occur to me for some reason  But otherwise yeah, I know I have a problem with shadows and lighting, I have to figure out how that works.
And no, the cans are not 3D, I just drew 8 different sprites and I choose the appropriate one depending on the angle.
I played twice, and for some reason the first time my addiction was coins, and the second time it was combat? Is that how itās supposed to work? But great variety of things, and nice graphics and music too!
Took me some time to figure out that we can move the chicken around, but when I realized that, it was rather easy. More levels would have been great, but anyway the concept is good and nice graphics and audio too!
I didnāt understand the part after the ballon pops, that we have to collect people or something? But otherwise, cool game, and it gets somewhat exciting when it goes faster and the birds appear in groups of 2Ć3 (I got a score of 532).
Took me some time to understand that you need to click exactly on the enemy in order to hit them. But otherwise, it is nice!
It took me a while to figure out we can open the door, I almost rated the game without having reached the part of it with tentacles. It was very chaotic and needs a lot of polishing, but a good start!
Very difficult but quite nice!
I have no idea how this is supposed to be possible, I keep getting stuck into walls and at some point I somehow managed to get out of the maze and then it was impossible to get in again. Also, canāt we have grades between A+ and F- if we save some plants? But for only 24h and being 11, itās definitely a good start!
Very cool game! It was very fun to try to balance all different levels, while still letting it sleep when needed.
Very nice and addictive game! I got 274 as my best score. The music is nice, although quite strange given that itās a game when you get impaled by spears regularly.
Pretty cool game! My main complaint is that there are too many things that are unexplained, and it takes some time to understand which things are useful and which other are useless. Also I donāt know where I can see how many resources/money one earn each round, that would have been helpful. I would suggest to try to make it clearer in the game design what each resource is for, and how one can spend it or earn it.
The second level was super hard, because of the jumps and because I had no idea what I was supposed to do (until coming to the comments, I thought I was supposed to get all of the apples!), but I managed to pass it in the end! Nice game!
It was very difficult but I made it! Great game!
Seems interesting, but I couldnāt figure out how to understand what to do :( How do you keep track of the health? What do you do with the leaves? (I tried to send the poisoned leaves to the bottom left but it just freezes the games) How is healing working? Also, on the second level "The Pillar" I got stuck on the left wall.
Cool retro game, even though there isnāt that much to do, but Iām guessing itās not easy to write a NES game! CycloaJS doesnāt seem to work on Chromium for me (I got 18 FPS or so, which was super slow, and the music was completely chopped up), but it worked with Firefox.
I made it to 3:13! Itās a bit unintuitive to have horizontal key map to vertical things, but nice game!
Great idea! I wish there was an undo button/key.
Quite fun! The main issue is that the camera goes crazy which makes it hard to follow it sometimes. The art is very nice!
The music is great! And the game feels really relaxing in a way. I got 82 seconds as my best.
Cool game, but quite difficult!
Weird game, but I guess I polished it enough :)
Cool puzzle game, I enjoyed it :)
Clever way to get around the rule that require you to draw all assets yourself, but I would still consider it cheating ;)
Took me a very long time to figure out that the brown thing cannot be scanned and merely separate the customers. But otherwise, it felt pretty realistic (even though I have never been a cashier) so well done!
Super fun game! Best score: 1:27!
Cool puzzle, the last level made me think quite a bit :)
Nice idea! Too bad that you didn't have time to finish it!
Very cool puzzle! I made an escape game with a repeating room too :D There was some weird keyboard issue, I donāt use a qwerty keyboard but even after switching to qwerty it was still using my previous layout, which was somewhat inconvenient. But otherwise, well done game!
I would be curious to know if there is an end to this game (I only managed to go to level 4) but maybe itās the point :) Itās a pretty good entry, the gameplay is fun (if a little bit repetitive) and the sound is great!
If you want to use music that you didn't make yourself, you should upload your game as part of the jam, not as part of the compo. Please respect the rules of the compo.
I was somewhat confused by the pumpkin, but I just tried all possible ways and managed to escape :)
@ladymistleaf No, you are not allowed to use free assets in the compo, only in the jam. The idea of the compo is that you do everything yourself in 48 hours. There are a few exceptions for fonts for instance, but definitely not for music. Look at the rules here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules
Very interesting idea, I had trouble understanding it at first but then I read the instructions again and I managed to make it so painfully slow that I had to stop :) Youāre having some performance issues when mixing a lot of berries ;)
I didn't really understand if we are supposed to play with or against oneself, but I like how the game looks :)
@sanojian Iām surprised it doesnāt work in Mac Chrome, Iām simply using the latest version of PIXI. Does WebGL work? (do you see a spinning cube at https://get.webgl.org/?) Or is there an error message in the console?
Yes, there absolutely is a logic to it, studying what the different doors do to the symbols might help :)
I won! 262 turns to complete! I was a bit lost at the beginning, as I didn't notice I could turn spaces into gem mines, but then I understood it and it was very fun to play!
I was kinda confused the whole time but the sound effects are fun. My character wanted to sleep all the time, is that normal?
Got a score of 24! Nice concept and quite well balanced!
I didnāt quite understand what was going on, but I managed to succeed in my mission even though I was alone :)
Very cool concept! I just didnāt understand if one wins when one gets to the "hey!" part with the green spotlight in the middel?
Very difficult, but I did it :) Maybe it should be balanced a bit better, and not have 6 or 7 different portals or so.
It took me some time but I managed to make it to the top, pretty interesting game!
Please respect the rules of the Ludum Dare. If you did not make the music yourself, you cannot compete in the Compo category.
Other than that, it is a very nice game, quite polished already and very addictive. I did not yet manage to finish it (only got to the charge gun upgrade) but I really enjoyed it!
@dan-whiffing For the jam you can do that, take some free music from somewhere and remove the audio category, but not for the compo :)
Unfortunately the game seems unplayable on my computer, I get only 4 frames between two tetrominos. Is this a bug that can be fixed?
Very nice art, but as others I am a bit confused about what we are supposed to do. At first I thought that clicking an orb would transform it to something else, but it actually looks like the two orbs we get are actually random and what matters is what happens in the top. But then I have no idea how is it possible to win. Filling one top orb makes you lose, it's possible to fill two orbs at the same time, but how are you supposed to fill all four at the same time?
Wow, this was amazing, the gameplay was especially nice and how a complex story is intertwined with the relatively simple idea of remembering words. Very well done!
Nice puzzle game! The last level was especially interesting as I needed to be mindful of both bombs and pickaxes. Controls feel a bit slow sometimes, but it's not too bad :)
Note that you need to opt-out of the Graphics and Audio categories, as you didn't do them yourselves.
Very nice, it was very fun to play! I just have a small issue with the moving platforms, you do know this is not how physics work, right? When you stand still on a moving platform, youāre supposed to move with it :D
Nice idea and nice 3D modelling! Unfortunately I found the controls very difficult to use which made it a bit hard to actually enjoy the gameplay.
Very nicely done! The idea is nice and I really liked the 3D art. The game has very low FPS in fullscreen for me, even though it works fine if I do not enable fullscreen, not sure if that's a bug or not. I didn't beat your high scores but reached about 600.
Nice :) It would probably benefit from giving different capacities to the different towers (for now it seems like they are just more or less powerful), but it was fun nevertheless :)
Cool story :)
I didnāt manage to win it unfortunately, but I went up to 26/30! Well done game, kinda hard to figure out what happens on the screen, but it still feels somehow playable.
I got stuck at level 15, couldnāt figure out how to stack the wheel and the cloud in a stable way. Otherwise, well done! I like that (for the most part) things do stay stable. A few points that could be improved: When grabbing a falling object, it preserves the momentum, which makes it unusable as it will start rotation as soon as we drop it. Also the grass makes it pretty hard to see soda and milk bottles.
37! Pretty fun, but too bad the hitboxes are so buggy, it would make the game so much more enjoyable if we could understand where we're going.
@drunk-wizard > towards the end of the game, the cracks stopped forming
That was kind of the idea, cracks do not form in green areas, so when most of the planet is green, they donāt have anywhere left to form. But I definitely agree that the ending could be more polished, as itās not particularly enjoyable at the moment.
> only thing missing was actually telling players which button is interact
Ahah, the tutorial does say to press space to close the cracks, but itās true that you need to have found the space key already in order to access the tutorial :D Iāll add it to the description.
Pretty short, but cool idea, and I found the controls very intuitive and easy to use :) Except that somehow the camera refused to move every time I was in the upstairs part of the other building, not sure whatās up with that.
@tiranice The WebGL version, Iām on Linux
I really like the concept, but it needs more balancing, it felt way too easy, and very often I had to choose between two cards where one of them is absolutely better than the other one in every possible way (or sometimes I had to choose between two absolutely identical cards).
Very interesting concept and very well done, I did pass all levels and it feels satisfying :)
Nice idea but the controls would definitely benefit from some improvement. It took me a long time to pass the first level, and then I couldnāt figure out at all how to do the "big jump" in the second level, from the second to the third ball.
Very nice! At first I was just avoiding bullets, but then I realized I could place a whole lot of walls around which made it feel much safer, even though I was just delaying the inevitable ;)
Nice work! It was a bit unclear at the beginning what I had to do, but I got it after reading the rules again. The green spirits donāt seem very useful, though, I could beat the game easily with just red and white spirits, so there wasnāt much of a strategy.
The web version doesnāt work very well unfortunately, it is pretty slow, very small, and it cuts the sides of the screen. Also Iām not sure what Iām supposed to do? I could change the color of three squares, but the fourth square in in the village and I canāt go there.
Update: ok, now I somehow managed to get it to appear further away from the village and could unsummon a few creatures, nice! Itās a bit hard to find them, though, except by walking randomly.
Very nice and well balanced, the choices of cards were very interesting and the presentation is polished. Well done!
Pretty difficult for me, but after reading some of the comments here I figured it out :) The "it goes down from here" clue was a bit confusing as it doesnāt actually go down.
Nice ambience, I really liked the art and the audio. Great that you included a tutorial as well! But I couldnāt figure out how to win in the second wave, there was way too many enemies for the amount of cards I had.
Very interesting game, although levels 1 to 4 were very easy, level 5 was very hard, and level 6 impossible :) Feel free to take a look at our game, it is based on a very similar concept, where you have a choice between three similar options, balanced in a rock/paper/scissors way!
Great atmosphere and environment, and congrats for doing that in only one day, even with mostly pre-made assets.
Thank you all for the comments!
There are two bugs we know about currently, one is that the game sometimes gets stuck for no reason (@sargonius), the other one is that sometimes winning doesnāt trigger despite sending a monster to the opponent with no shield (@austin-c, he is not supposed to have additional health).
@aviv-levy: It is meant to feel a bit rock-paper-scissorsy :) The idea is basically that each of the three things you can summon is strong against one of the others but weak against the third one, so that there isnāt an obvious strategy consisting of always clicking the same button.
We're plannning a post-jam version with in particular support for multiplayer so that you can play with your friends or with strangers (@zablas), but also fixing bugs, cleaning up code, and improving some animations, graphics, and sound (@aucguy).
Stay tuned and let us know if you want to be notified when the post-jam version will be available!
Very beautiful and original! I got completely lost when they started spinning, though. And the grid shape was very interesting, even though a bit tricky to wrap my head around :)
Really great game, well done, the gameplay is very well done and the game polished!
Couldnāt figure out at all how it works :( I also barely have time to read the feedback when summoning at the last step, so itās hard to continue.
Very nice game! It wasnāt easy but still pretty interesting! Sometimes it was a bit difficult to predict the chain reactions that would happen from block falling several times. I like the art style as well!
I managed to get mana, but how do we know which combinations of colors work?
Very cool, especially that the same demons repeat, so that we can get a feel of the melody and then just vibe with the demons! I played a few times and got different experiences, in particular the third time many demons digits ended the same way as some other demons started (killing 354 would kill half of 41), which was a bit weird considering that the first two times I played it didnāt happen at all like this, not sure if it is on purpose?
Very nice! It was very relaxing and stressful at the same time :D The sound was all choppy for me unfortunately.
Very well done, it is a very entertaining game!āÆIt was however a bit hard to remember which minion corresponds to what, it would have been nice to reuse the same icons in all appropriate places. I didnāt really try the spells either, it was too much already with all the resources, minions, fighters, levels, etc.
Took me a while to realize that selecting a different spell is not possible at all on my keyboard and that I needed to switch to a QWERTY keyboard... And why do you write that arrow keys are for selecting the spells when itās not? Also it looks like the Ludum Dare game embedding has some issues, for me the game shows up slightly smaller with scrollbars to see all of it, the fullscreen button works (after scrolling to be able to see it) but then ESC exits fullscreen... You could publish it at itch.io instead, it would work better.
Nice entry! It was pretty easy, though, once I figured out I was supposed to type the words (it didnāt seem to work the first time)
Very cool mechanic, best score: 243 so far! The "b" for disabling the timer didnāt seem to work for me though (the timer disappears but I still get a game over screen). It could definitely make for a cool mobile game with more polish, adapted controls, various levels/upgrades, etc.
Cute game, and interesting take on the "idle game" mechanics! I didnāt quite understand how it works, but I managed to get to the spaceship anyway :)
Very fun and I love the intro! A bit too easy maybe, though.
Nice and addicting, although it was pretty hard to avoid the obstacles. I got up to 248mm or so. Well done!
Interesting, but it gets a bit boring quite quickly without any goal.
Got stuck above the water just before I would have killed the big fish :( But very nice, I love games with quests like this, and it was really well done!
Nice concept, but not very well balanced indeed. It is super easy to win with only the most basic ants.
Really interesting mechanics! But I basically just stayed in the middle and shot at everything :)
Very nice art, too bad that the game is so short.
Really nice game! I particularly liked how natural it feels to shoot at enemies, not sure if there is some auto aim or large hitbox, but it felt both that we had to aim and that it was possible to control. Well done!
Pretty nice! I managed to beat the medium level on the first try, but not the easy level, maybe they should have been swapped? Otherwise it is indeed pretty tricky to understand how far we will go, and it seems like sometimes it glitches and we donāt land on the blocks as expected.
Great concept, got score 192. The ant movement feels natural and it was nice to be able to nudge them in the right direction.
Very interesting strategy, and good choice of abilities! Unfortunately it keeps freezing towards the end of the second level, so I couldnāt see all of it :( Would be great if you could fix it, I would definitely play it again!
Very cool and unexpected! I managed to get to the "sentient room" but I didnāt have any ammo left in the gun, so Iām not sure how I was supposed to go further.
Nice game! The last one was tricky to find but I did manage in the end! It was very relaxing and the music fit the game pretty well.
Interesting idea but I couldnāt figure out much how to play.āÆI suggest that you write some more explanations in the description, it would be at least something.
Cool game, got up to 24 points! Controls are a bit weird sometimes, and it is hard to see where we are safe from the cat, but it was fun!
I feel like there are too many different buttons, so it is kinda hard to control. But well done with the destructible environment!
Difficult controls, so I only managed to get to the fourth level or so (with different enemies), but good idea and well done!
I really like the background and the atmosphere. Too bad that the controls are a bit too difficult and that the difficulty doesnāt seem to increase with time. I got to 1000 points and then got bored.
Really good, congratulations! It felt a bit too easy though, and I could easily just buy everything, but really well done for a compo game!
Interesting idea, but unfortunately I didnāt particularly enjoyed playing it. The docs are pretty hard to read (too few pixels per letter), and several controls are annoying/hard to understand (for instance somehow we can make cuts outside the body, it is unclear what the syringe is for, it is unclear how to deal with insects that leave the plate).
Really cute and well done, got up to 29 snails.
Really nice! And the controls work very well, which is pretty rare for jam games. I got 28/34 and really enjoyed it, well done!
The link says "HTML5 (web)" but I couldnāt find a playable web version. Is there one somewhere?
Very nice game! I only got 14/16 nests (and I see one of the two missing ones, but I have no clue how to get it, itās the one next to the torch that closes the wall onto itself, but it also seems locked in). And is there supposed to be another nest in the big pond on the top?
The music fits the atmosphere very nicely, the controls are ok but not the best (in particular the slowing down is very hard to use I think), and itās sometimes not easy to see where we can and cannot pass.
In this kind of game you should *definitely* be able to shoot while moving, it feels really weird otherwise, I think. Otherwise, well done and nice art (I wish there were animations, though). And is right-click supposed to do something?
Ahah, I love the art style :) A bit hard to control sometimes (especially when crashing into walls) but after sometime I managed to handle the basic car (2 minutes 6 seconds for the five laps).
Wow, this is really good, I love the story and the atmosphere of the game. The controls could be made slightly easier (it was sometimes hard to reach stuff in the corners without getting too much damage), but on the other hand itās a submarine so itās king of expected that it would be hard to control :D
Nice idea! I felt like the lamp took way too long to turn on, and the lack of feedback when being hit by enemies in the dark made it a lot harder than it should have been. And nice job on the lighting!
Nice game, but I would have liked to understand better how the game works, it felt a bit random whether I should continue or not.
Really nice game, well done! The baby was a little weird, but the rest was amazing!
Very nice and original concept! I didnāt manage to finish because the game froze somehow, though.
Very nice art and very cool concept. The keyboard controls didnāt work at all for me in Chrome (on Linux), but then it worked in Firefox, you may want to fix it as I see several other comments of people who couldnāt use the keyboard either. But apart from that, very well done entry, I wish it would last longer!
Very nice, and very addictive! Unfortunately I couldnāt manage to use the dash as I have one hand on the arrow keys and the other hand on the space bar, so I couldnāt go further. Maybe the platform placement could be a bit more varied (often you could just jump vertically for a while), but thatās a detail. Well done!
Really satisfying to play, well done! Simple but effective graphics, and very nice use of particles and screen shakes when stuff explodes.
I could not really figure out why it kept waking up or how the score is counted, but I got a little over 2600, which is good I guess :D
Quite easy and unfinished, but it was a nice experience :)
Nice puzzle game, the last two levels were definitely interesting and more challenging than the other ones!
Really nice and fun game! Got 285 and tried several times to beat it but I couldnāt get much better. I ran into some glitches with floating cocos, piles spread onto several positions, and the opponent getting stuck. But otherwise, well done!
Maybe a little bit too much reading and too little action, but nice atmosphere!
Kinda confusing but interesting concept. Itās kind of a audio memory game (for those who donāt know Morse code by heart). Not sure why you need to press the same key five times?
I got 73! Cute game with a nice atmosphere! Not sure whatās the point of running away though? Shouldnāt I just know on every door? And why is there an option to sprint? Why would I not sprint? Also I got some issue where some candies got stuck on the top right corner of the screen.
Simple and effective! I played quite a few times and managed to get to 27 seconds. Well done!
Nice game, with quite a lot of work in level design, well done! I got up to score 144 where I got stuck, I see now from your video that I was supposed to go down near the spikes and then jump. I couldnāt figure out either what the grey balls did.
@iocutus You need to click on "Next level" to go to the next level. Doesn't it work?
Really cool! Obviously I am biased given my username, but really nice idea! At the beginning I just solved the puzzles intuitively, but at some point I remembered what a fractal is and understood better how it worked :D I managed to solve all of them except for the last one, I got very close (0.11) but somehow not all the way there.
I wish the drawings were a bit crispier, they were not always easy to distinguish and become quite messy when dragging, but I know it may be quite computationally expensive.
Well done and thanks! ;)
Nice job! With this mechanic, I feel like it didnāt need to be a 3D game, I spent more time trying to fight the 3D movement than actually thinking about whether I want to buy or sell a specific Lachuchu.
Nice work! I got up to the level where I needed to collect 152 or something like that. Too bad the car is so hard to control (especially turning is extremely slow), otherwise I would have definitely continued a bit more.
The visuals are amazing, but unfortunately I found it way too difficult to control :(
Took some time to understand but I finally managed to figure out what most of the cards do and could survive until I was rescued. It was well balanced: not easy but not impossible either, I had to think carefully. Very well done!
Pretty trick, but I finally managed to get to Mars! I wish it were maybe slightly easier and longer, but very nice game nevertheless!
Interesting idea and very nice art style, but the UI makes it incredibly hard to play. For instance having to reselect the same conveyor belt all the time and having to guess which corner to use and to rotate it the right way (and trying to figure out which way it is currently pointing). Also it looks like the buildings canāt be chained to each other, they always need conveyor belts (which is kinda hard given the space constraints)? Then I trying resetting, and it wouldnāt tell me anymore the notes I need, not sure why.
Really good game! Itās both simple and challenging, especially seeing the high scores and trying to beat them! And well polished as well, well done!
Cute and easy game. While it does indeed lack in challenges and gameplay, the graphics, music, and atmosphere are well done!
Two small things: - your game is currently not playable on other keyboard layouts than Qwerty (for instance Dvorak or Azerty), make sure to use the key code for the movements (event.code instead of event.key) - change the name of the link above from "Microsoft Window" to "Web" (or similar), currently it looks like it can only be played on Windows
Nice idea and atmosphere! It was a bit too easy though, and Iām not sure why we get several boats, I just used one boat and let the other ones sink and it worked just fine.
I solved the first two levels and then the first wave of the third level, but then I gave up because I didnāt want to watch the same thing five more times, Iām really not sure why you didnāt just do one wave per level, that would have been significantly more enjoyable to play. But the first wave of each level was quite interesting!
Really nice and challenging game! I managed to finish it but it took me a couple of hours or so. I play The Daily Spell every day and I definitely recognize the writing and world building :D
Well done, itās very interesting although it gets very complicated quite quickly. Maybe the trains and the stations should have colors instead to be able to know where they go without having to hover above them all the time?
Nice vibe and sounds, but quite often I just couldnāt place trees for unknown reasons, and watering didnāt work either most of the time. I ended up spamming '1' while moving around until I finished the game.
Very cool game! Not super difficult but quite satisfying.
Really cool atmosphere and great idea for puzzles! I didnāt finish it yet, but Iāll continue tomorrow!
I love fractals, so this game was great! Very interesting how the different animals affect the fractal in different way, and I managed to beat all levels, even though the last one was pretty tough!
Really great game! I managed to get to $200/s before giving up. It would be great to be able to hover on the packets to see their size and also their frequency. Also the UX for connecting wires and dragging objects is a bit weird. One gets used to it, but it could be made more intuitive.
Interesting idea and art style! But it was a bit too easy, and I couldnāt really figure out how to use the tubes in a good way. I just put a cannon next to the heart and all other cannons in front as shield and it worked :D
Nice idea, we had the exact same one :D Would be great with smoother sliders
Nice game! The codes were fun to decode, reminded me when I was writing coded messages as a kid. As someone else, however, I didnāt like the cat cursor :D
Cool and original idea! It was a bit hard to understand at first, but then it was quite fun to play. Although one small issue is that it seems to say Game over even when I win? Or did I misunderstand something?
