Simple in concept but with a very very good execution! Loved to see all the effort put into the different options (Story or endless mode), and the controls are quite tight. Very well done! :D

foursay 2021-10-05 17:46

Really neat art style. Love it!

simonkmall 2021-10-05 17:46

This was honestly much more fun that I expected, nice!

ivysly 2021-10-05 17:46

Stacking is always fun, but why is she so mean !!! TT__TT great art for the background!!

kobrasadetin 2021-10-05 17:47

This game has lots of potential, but the user experience would benefit from fine-tuning. Rotating an object takes a long time, and it's easy to inadvertly give an object momentum when letting go of it.

alpharock6 2021-10-05 17:50

Nice entry! Stacking is thirsty work, could use a nice refreshing bottle of Dr. Salt after that

glebshik 2021-10-05 17:52

Nice pixel art, everything is in line with the theme, but it seems to me that the boxes are moving too fast.

robbzenone 2021-10-05 17:52

I liked the background art :D very polished and simple game... was fun to play :) (hard to see the bottles when they are on the ground)

tohmis 2021-10-05 17:53

Really nice art but so difficult on some levels o.o

vitor-nakama 2021-10-05 17:56

Great game, very challenging and the texts are funny haha

stoffe 2021-10-05 17:57

I really liked the pixel art. It's fun stacking things but got real hard after level 3.

The game objects that you stack could have had a higher mass value, they were very flimsy.

kit-gorn 2021-10-05 17:57

The game is exciting. Sounds good, but still doesn't fit. It would be nice to add sounds and background music while playing. Everything else looks good. Onigiri is pain. I couldn't get through.

dominic-graziano 2021-10-05 17:58

I especially enjoyed the beautiful background image! gameplay was fun and just the right amount of challenging. I had the most fun figuring out a way to cause items to drop in and then roll out endlessly... not the actual game but it was fun anyways :P

teegan 2021-10-05 18:00

I really like the dry humor and the gameplay is simple but well executed. Only thing I'd change is to make it so if you press a button while rotating it would speed it up (since you'd still want the option to rotate slow for fine-tuning). Good job, although I don't know what I did to make her bully me so much, like jeez I'm only trying to stack stuff for you!

cedric86 2021-10-05 18:00

Fun simple concept and well executed. You can cheat in the campain though. if you put something on a crate (or anything else) and the hold the crate above the line you will win without building a tower. :-) Aside from that i really enjoyed the dialogs and throwing things around. :-) Great entry. Keep it up.

pickydogfish 2021-10-05 18:00

A very simple game, but it actually looks very polished. Good job! One thing I noticed tho, you can kinda cheese the game by just balancing another object on the one you are holding with your mouse, and carry it high enough

threaded-lama-digital 2021-10-05 18:02

Yeah, it's stacking. Does exactly what it sets out to do. The one real problem I can point to is the front layer of grass which has a bad habit of completely obscuring some objects from view, making it so you need to click around to find things. Also, given the office theme to the background noise and the start-of-round chatter, I can't help but feel like it may have been more appropriate to set it in a warehouse or an office. But hey, not bad.

mirka-chan 2021-10-05 18:05

I reached level 15, and then I didn't understand how to get through. The feeling that there are not enough objects (I had 7 of them).

But overall I liked it! The game was very meditative and relaxing.

The very thing after a working day))

tomate-salat 2021-10-05 18:10

Tbh: I haven't played the game as you might expect your players to play it. Because I found a way to solve every level with 2 objects. Here is my favorite one - I call it the "superman method":

cheating.png

Ok - one could say it would be cheating. But sometimes it was really hard to make it with only 2 objects. Because sometimes you have to catch the other object in the air again.

Overall I enjoyed the game a lot and I would say: theme fully met!

mirka-chan 2021-10-05 18:10

By the way, it is true that the grass hides some objects from view and they are poorly visible.

fractal 2021-10-05 18:28

I got stuck at level 15, couldn’t figure out how to stack the wheel and the cloud in a stable way. Otherwise, well done! I like that (for the most part) things do stay stable. A few points that could be improved: When grabbing a falling object, it preserves the momentum, which makes it unusable as it will start rotation as soon as we drop it. Also the grass makes it pretty hard to see soda and milk bottles.

kraig 2021-10-05 19:11

@mirka-chan There is a hidden object on level 15. You might see it zoom past from time to time ;)

kraig 2021-10-05 19:13

@fractal Level 15 has a very particular way of stacking the objects. It's doable, I did it twice to make sure it's fine.

minus 2021-10-05 22:01

@cedric86 @tomate-salat tbh, I made a big boo-boo there. Seems my whole genius logic to make it not count moving objects can be defeated by simply making object not move on another moving object. Most likely will provide fix for that in future :)

minus 2021-10-05 22:05

@robbzenone @threaded-lama-digital That actually was a mistake we considered changing, but decided to leave as is, sorry that it caused issues, one way to actually overcome it is to grab something and basically move other items to screen edges, it should respawn them when they fall out of screen. If we provide patch for game grass will be lowered :)

hotowlgirls 2021-10-05 23:50

The business aesthetic was cool. It feels a bit weird that you're in a forest and there's office noises in the background. Fun game overall though.

fromthechasm 2021-10-06 12:01

Pretty good. Not often I have to hunt for onagari in the grass. I didn't get why there were sound effects from an office, when we are in the country side? Good to have some narration and different modes.

subcreation 2021-10-07 03:05

Really tight physics! Took me a little while to realize you could rotate objects with the mousewheel, but once I figured that out, it was a pretty good challenge. I like the narration, too, it is good to have a little bit of story holding it together as well as an endless mode, and the art style is great! Well done!
