Nice concept. I needed your tutorial to really understand how to play, and nevertheless I feel like it is quite hard! Nevertheless, it is nice and fun.

Really nice game. I will continue to feed my thirsty sword with blood.
Maybe I would add some unlockable properties of the sword (or maybe I am noob enough to miss them?)
I love you. This game is the best I've played so far. It is as hard as Dark Souls, and really fun. Problably I would implement a saving system, it is impossible to finish.
definitively 5 stars out of 5
Really nice idea, cute graphics, but I think it is too hard (or at least it has a quite steep learning curve for this kind of game). Maybe are the controllers (or the need for food), or simply I'm really bad at it.
Thank you all for your warm feedbacks! You are really motivating us to push this little Ludum Dare jam further. We have decided to continue the development of this little Gino buddy, so we can show it to little kids via the educational programs.
We will keep here on the ludum dare webpage the first version (plus the HTML5 WebGL), but we hope to update a new version in the near future on a different website, after the ludum dare competition ends; we will let you know!
Any additional comments and suggestions are really appreciated!
PS:
@vetu11 thank you for your feedback; we are currently working on audio and sfx!
@seriouslycrunchy both space cats and quacky the space ducks post-catch effect are under development! keep an eye on our game in the near future ;)
@notexplosive We realized that we haven't explained well the gameplay, and that the graphics may not help too: 1. Space Cats and Ducky the Spaceduck are power ups! try to cath your new cosmic friend! 2. Gino the neutrino oscillates into its three forms; it can interact with other particles only if it shares their color (i.e., the *flavor*); so, if you are, let us say, red, only punk red tauon can stop your run!
We are currently updating the graphics, colliders and UI to make it clearer! Thank you again for your feedback!
Wonderful graphics and sound! You have made a great job! bravo!
Just like others, I would love to shoot at those vicious gnomes at 360°, to avenge my poor ducklings.
Other than that, all I can safely say is: *Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeck!*
I loved the game. The artwork is amazing, from the concept to the polish. The voice is perfect, and the interactivity adds up to the game.
One minor thing: the html part look weird on my pc (way too big to fit into the screen; difficoult to play);
Good job guys! Bravo!
Nice mood, with the music that helps a lot creating and keeping it. Nice landscape, but maybe it suffers a bit the lack of a goal... nevertheless, good job!
OK, supercute doggo wandering in a dark ambient theme? You got me immediately!
I loved it, even if I got totally lost. Gosh, I am really bad at this game. At least, I can admire the goodest boi.
[You]: create this wondeful game
[Me, playing it]:

Nice game, especially because I love cats. It is basically a The Sims game with furry Sims.
Next improvement: doggos?
Wonderful game, really enjoyable. I loved the theme, fantastic audio (truly immersive).
I was at first catched by the spectacular drawings, but I would loved to see more of them! Maybe asking one for each town is asking for the sky, but I think at least making few more background would have changed my overall rating from 5/5 into a... well... 5/5.
Very funny and smart game! The idea is fresh, and it reminds us how difficoult could be balance our dream job and personal life in the current system. It made me laugh and cry. Bravo!
Nice game, I enjoyed the theme and the graphic; I found it a little hard at first, but nevertheless, it is a nice game!
Nice game! easy to have fun, but a little hard to play (at least in the HTML version)
Amazing graphics, nice idea; love the theme and humero. very fun!
Ok, I finally get how to properly play this game. It was fun, nice idea and concept. I would have liked some more immersive music, related to the theme somehow. Nevertheless, it is a nice and fun game!
Wow, that's a nice one. I really like the theme and the arts. It is quite easy but that's a well balanced game for a jam like this. The mood is fine, and the arts matches it perfectly.
Probably I would have loved a bit of a "Scientific education" on that game (why O_2, CH_4, etc.), but that's my personal deviation '^^. Maybe a bit of music would be a wonderful add.
Nice idea, I have found the controls a quit difficult to manage, but it is fine. I loved the Samurai & Cat theme!
Really fun game, with a beautiful graphics and a gorgeous original soundtrack! bravo!
Only one thing about the gameplay: It looked quite easy. Or I was just lucky?
I tried to play the HTML version of the game, whose arts are gorgeous and musics seems great too but...
I had some issues (on Firefox); it seems unplayable and with a pink triangle stuck on the screen...

It is a bug? Or am I mistaking something?
Nice idea! I'm kinda like the idea of people developing boardgame card games in the Jam. Great work!
I would love to have more in depth Artwork, but nevertheless, good job!
I love this game! this is not an hyperbolae. I'm really into card games, and this has a lot of possibilities, even for a home-made version (e.g: add custom Monster with custom effects, more red/blue cards, invent a "green" one for multiple-turn effects, etc.)
The graphics is nice, but I would love to have an actual art instead of pixel-art (just a matter of tast, ofc).
Only small bug I found is that, if you click by mistake some button while you are inspecting the reward card a monster left, it will stuck on the screen forever... Nevertheless, I still manage to go one somehow, since other cards are shown ON TOP. But I was unable to zoom on cards anymore (not a problem; I already know by heart all the card set :smile_cat: )
@tankou thank you so much for your kind comment; unfortunately, the first build we submitted had some issues related to the fact that we used an experimental package in unity for the lights...
We have fixed the bug now, and I invite you to try the new version into Dora's mind!
PS: your game is super cute!!! I loved it!
@haardy Thank you very Much! Actually, we had plans about almost everything you said, but we experienced a lot of technical problems (comprising a git issues that crashed our entire project and shut down our work for almost 4 hours on monday), so we were totally unable to put many things inside the game... we had many other arts we weren't abla to fit in (available in the git repo, we will problably share them just for fun in the descriptions)
@iluvatar Thank you very much! The artists in the group are really happy about your nice comments, and we are ablosutely plesed by their job! Unfortunately, we have additional arts we weren't able to put into the game because of... issues.
For the FPS... The problem is the size of the game... sorry!
@nablaz Thank you for your comment and feedback!
About the music: yes, it is not original; we have put now the credits in the page. We specifically pick those (royalty free) songs exactly for the melancholic mood. We love them.
The damage should have been proportional to the speed at the moment of the collision, but clumped to a max of half-life. It didn't work out so... *it's not a bug, it's a feature!*
As a said in a previous comment, we had a lot of technical issues, both with Unity and Git, and it compromised our work, especially in the time-management area. We apologize for that.
@klon160 , @ydrenor @sanemsky Thank you for your comments!
I don't know what's going on, it should have been walkable (at least in the in-unity test). It has to be veeeery close, to give a bit of "dark-souls like difficulty", that mimic the difficulty every human being has in exploring his/her/their deep phsycology.
But it should have been feasible to pass thorugh!!! There is also a special sprite object for the ending, that gives meaning to the whole "going deep"-mood, so, it should have been absolutely traversable! We are looking for fixing this bug after our daily job. stay tuned!
Super cute and adorable! Also, *spoiler alert* the bald man at the end of the level really made me laugh! Congrats!
Nice game, with a super nice and fun intro! I would have loved a moving background to understand better the depth, and a more dynamical re-start, but I know that is hard to refine everything in 72 hours! so, congrats!
