fun game!
Sure, but id like some resource gathering upgrades, crewmembers, fight scenes, shops, bosses, and puzzles... Audio was great, animations made me chuckle ^^ Played it twice, got to planet 14!
@luddegodofpain Thanks for playing. Enemies certainly were on our ToDos, but time and UI scaling issues (thanks 4k..) caused us to lose a loot of time.
@xparker but dude, I was expecting FTL2 at least! ;)
@luddegodofpain sad we couldn't live up to your expectation :laughing: guess you will have to wait a bit :wink:
This was pretty good. I was trying to strategize which planets to get the best resources from, but it never felt like enough... Great job!
Great Game!!! Really liked the mechanics! You defiantly have something worth investing time on!!! The text on the menu UI was a little to small, but other than that an awesome game for the amount of time we all had to make our games! ehaheeahehaheahe Great Work!!!!
@team-watt @angrysandwich Thanks a lot for playing. I'll be reviewing yours tonight.
Nice game!
Very nifty idea and good execution! Even though I believe that it's possible to make it to the 21th planet, by the 5th planet I felt kind of hopeless. I chose the most fuel rich planet and got a good fuel roll I think, but flying there took a huge chunk of said fuel away as well.
So even though I think I was doing everything correctly, I didn't *feel* like I was doing everything correctly, didn't get the dopamine hit I was expecting so to speak :D
@pedrocoden @poorwill Thanks for playing It depends on what planet type you visit often. E.g. Lava is the best for fuel, forest for oxygen. Food you can mostly pick up on the way.
Pretty idea! Audio and gameplay effects are really cool. But my record only 10 planets :D
Nice game :) I like your audio and sound effects. The gameplay loop kept me engaged. Played it a few times - I could only manage to get up to planet 19 :')
@ayxh Thanks for playing. you were damn close to getting the "ending" screen. The current record I know of is 36 :wink:
Someone prove me wrong :laughing:
Was soo nice, i love the idea!! I try only two times for now but i keep it in my "play again and again list" :) Congrats
Such a good idea ! The sound effects and the music are great, and i like the mood of the game. Perfect for try harder with the endless mode Good job guys :)
@unagiv Thanks. for now we plan on adding some features and keep the updates coming. of course at a reduced rate :wink:
@chacawott Thanks for playing. we were lucky that the musician friend had some time on her hands. Otherwise who knows what would have happened :laughing:
I liked the visual style and space games are awesome
I only got to planet 16! Still it was fun trying to find the best planets to manage my resources.
Very fun game ! Simple, Addictive ! Very clever idea ! I only wish music to be a bit louder and the choose planet sfx a bit quieter, but it's a great work !
Interesting little game! Reminded me of the beloved Mass Effect planet scanning. Cool job.
@cheesepencil @heidelbert Thanks a lot
@runtrg 16 is not bad at all. we tried balancing out towards 12 - 14.
@obrunomarques There is a slider for background volume. SFX Slider is now on ToDo list (thanks :wink: )
Damnit I was searching for the oil in the wrong place (Rockplanet) so i only got to 14. Still a very fun game and nice use of the theme did not think of that with my game.
Very enjoyable! I really liked this game, even if space exploration is probably not what I should do for work, since I would let everyone die soon. The graphic is simple but very effective and I liked the concept of random generated planets <3
Pretty simple in terms of mechanics but really well-executed, with a good balance of difficulty. I found it really fun, look forward to seeing when/if you do any updates. Well done!
@hoeleboele :smirk: the rock planet is designed to be a sinkhole, with no real resources. but still good to get to 14.
@cannocchiale Thanks a lot. I know what you mean :smirk:.
@sam-onella We are planning on continuing the project. You can see the progress / changes and ToDos over on github. Any Ideas are certainly also welcome.
Very nice game and fun to play.
I still haven't understood why I died, since I have full O2 and Food and at least 20% of Gas (and I was landing on a Lava planet), lvl 20... but nevermind! I liked it!
The sound is great, which makes the game more interesting
@ifidamas oof.. that sounds horrible... and almost there as well :slight_frown:.
@xiyou Thanks.
@xparker Nevermind, I really loved the game experience though... bravo to you!
It is weird how sticky it is to just scanning planets for managing 3 depleting progress bars! A vary nice job you done there my friends, had fun playing!
I wouldn't say I played with much strategy and foresight. Planet 1 to 10 was only "wildly clicking around" (later I picked the more promising planets), I looted every planet I scanned completely and got as far as planet 19 that way, after all. The end of the game was a bit unexpected for me. Is there any way to tell how many resources it costs to mine materials, so I can made a informed decision? Or is this "gambling" intended by you? All in all good job, I liked the graphics and the animation of the small spaceship! Compared to all the other (mostly "mining" themed games), your gameplay stood out!
@fraukauz Thanks a lot :heart:
No, at the moment it's impossible to know the exact resources that it consumes. Or rather: The values are not displayed. The rates are semi fixed, based on action, ship type and resource, but the user has no way of changing these values.
I just love space exploration games. A well made entry with nice mechanics, and great mood. Thank you!
@tangiblegames Thanks for playing.
[Thanks for submitting your game to the stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007626304?t=02h35m20s)
Very nicely done here. Y'all were able to crank out a fairly complicated game with a lot of moving parts while also keeping your scope small enough to create a fun, easy-to-understand experience.
I liked that the different bars depleted at different rates, which helped me decide what should be prioritized, and what I could afford to miss out on. Congrats on your first completed game!!
@coleslaughter Thanks a lot for playing. The Jam was really fun, which really helped with the final product.
Also liked the way you played it. 29 is no small feat.
I'll be checking out your game tonight :thumbsup:
I really liked the game. It was a fun little management game which was particularly hard. Overtime I learned to understand which types of planets had what resources and it was fun to try and balance them all. The graphics looked pretty solid and the audio was, too. Some soundeffects might have been a bit loud, though. The gameover sound jumpscared me every time ^^' Good job on this game :)
This was a really neat resource collecting game! I like how every resource type didn't start out completely filled, it really makes you think about where you should go first and the I like how the farther you get, the more tense it gets because all of you resources start getting closer and closer to 0
@drskort Thanks for playing. We tried to balance about 12 - 15 planets. Knowing what planets are good gets you way further though. We've also already implemented SFX slider in options, but have not deployed the POST-Jam version.
@luciddh Thanks for playing.
Mission accomplished!

It's not bad at all :). And no microtransactions, oh joy! What confused me was the bars you are presented with after scanning the planet. I know there has to be some logic to them, but I'm still not sure exactly what it is. They definitely do not accurately represent a numeric value of a resource on the planet. But they represent something!
In any case, I had fun with the game. It is a nice puzzle, at least before you discover all the secrets ;). Sfx are just fine and the graphics are simple but do their job well. And I like how the planets change their looks after scanning - nice detail that added a lot to the atmosphere.
@fabula-rasa Awesome, nice job.
They represent the values of the resources available on the planet. Taken from the planet type, generated random resource number, added a deviation on it :smile:
First of all - I just love the game title!
Mechanics were solid, graphics nice (in particular the planets once discovered). Would have loved a bit more feedback of when you are about to die, and maybe some animation to show you exploding. :) But all in all, really enjoyed it!
@goldone Thanks for playing. There a video in the background of the death screen, sadly it doesn't load in WebGL :frowning2:.
