Cool 8Bit Graphics. However, I couldn't understand the point of the game or the controls really. I made a higher score just randomly spam clicking buttons than when I actually tried to figure it out. Maybe add a controls list or better explain the point of the game. Still a good entry.
I feel like I might be starting to get it, but its still a little confusing. Clicking the question mark helps, I didn't do that at first. The highest score I could get was 43.
Thanks @samguy @forevertrash and @turquoise-moon for your comments and feedback! Right now im improving some things to be more clear but the real thing is im trying to keep the abstract factor on the game but u have totally right, the game is confusing.
Again thanks so much to have time to play my little baby!
The postmortem version is coming at Sunday.
I liked the game but, I dont really see how it connects to the theme.
I had some trouble connecting this to the theme. You did a good job though keeping me coming back to try to make the best stone. Thanks for the game.
Really nice pixel art!
Cool little game, i very much like the artstyle of your, I haven't quiet understood what the bubbles make when you cklick on the but to me it was self explaining that they shuouldn't get full, then i came back to this site read the instruction above and looked int the game for the controls which I found under the question mark, after that it was really fun, but I cannot really see a connection to the theme after all.
Although not related to the theme its a cool concept, it would have greatly benefited from some sound and having the image describing the transformations on screen
Really unique idea, and the overall style is nice too!
very fun, never was able to beat it but it's a really interesting puzzle
Nice game. I am bit confused of the gameplay, but the music and graphics kept me going. I have no idea how to get to the philosophers stone :-D . But I am keep playing longer every time i try it. So you got me engaged there.
@superkoekje @trusty @m11 @dergamer @legolula @yword @vengefulcalamari Thanks a lot for ur comments and Feedback.
The comments related by the theme of this ludum dare. I think is connected in a really abstract way because the alchemists was really obsessed with the fact of create a perfect transmutation, and thats the why Alchemy always go mentally ((deeper and deeper in a sick way)) experimenting with possible combination, trying to create a Philoshoper's stone. BUT i know that thing is knew only by me haha Apologies for that.
and again thanks for take time and play my game.
Very nice art, but as others I am a bit confused about what we are supposed to do. At first I thought that clicking an orb would transform it to something else, but it actually looks like the two orbs we get are actually random and what matters is what happens in the top. But then I have no idea how is it possible to win. Filling one top orb makes you lose, it's possible to fill two orbs at the same time, but how are you supposed to fill all four at the same time?
Nice concept, great jam. Audio would add a lot. Also a reminder of what where would be a good idea. Nice work!
@fractal Thanks A lot for play the game! right now the game is extremely random, too random to be specific BUT a perfect transmutation is possible to achieve. Mathematically speaking, there are billions of possible combinations but only 2% of those possibilities are those that allow making the necessary movements to fill the 4 orbs at the same time, an abstraction of the infinitely complicated for an Alchemist to create a philosopher's stone.
The game needs some fixes in the mechanics and incorporate some others as mentioned by @doctortm so that the player has better control and administration of things without increasing said probability.
In short, is it possible to make a perfect transmutation? Yes, but with a minimum probability of 100:1 Billion.
Good game, but I had trouble to understand how it connects to the theme. It's a bit difficult unless you know the rules very well. In general I liked it a lot, it's so addictive. Good job!!
I think this has a great promise  It requires thinking! That is bad for me  If you ask me, I would add some easier levels (maybe with just 3 elements) to get the player hooked  But I had my fun playing

I think this game is alright. I like the pixelart. I like the music in the background. It's fun getting a new score.
At first I was confused how this fits with the theme but after you explained it it somewhat makes sense. Not really humorous.
For a jam game, It looks great.

This was a really fun experience and a clever puzzler. It didn't take long to work out what to do but I couldn't manage to mix the perfect potion. The music was spot on but the game could perhaps do with some FX when you select an orb. Great, polished achievement.
It might be a good idea to show the next set of orbs.
I like the balancing act gameplay. Could easily be addictive.
I think I had fun but I'm not sure I understood what I was doing. Looks like it has a lot of potential, nice work!
