Absolutely amazing game, the only critique I could possibly give is to let me zoom my camera out further. I would seriously consider developing this further, its uniquely simple, yet has the possibility to be challenging and complex!

kristinamay 2026-04-20 14:22

Hey, this is really great! It takes an incremental game concept and turns it into something more complex. I liked that I had to redo my circuits several times to keep it going, and unlocking new areas was really cool too. One issue I found was that I really wanted to use arrow keys to navigate around the map, and I also was unable to see the top righthand corner after I unlocked the area to the left, so I couldn't access the computer there. But those small issues aside, this felt really polished for a jam game and I enjoyed playing it! Good work!

nathanial 2026-04-20 14:27

Nice incremental game. It was a little frustrating that the splitter is facing the opposite way as the sender and I don't think there is a way to rotate it. Wireless signal sending made some interesting gameplay.

saering 2026-04-20 14:32

Very satisfying and enjoyable experience, and a very nice take on the theme! I wish the UX was a bit more polished, I struggled a lot moving the objects around, most of the time it drew cables out of the objects instead. The sound effects can be a bit repetitive and annoying, especially the high pitched ones. And I agree on what's been said about the camera that should be able to zoom out a bit more to see everything.

The wireless connection system was a very cool twist too!

Overall I really love your entry, congratulations!

brucezoom 2026-04-20 14:38

@saering @nathanial @cloverfall @kristinamay Thank you all for playing my game and your feedbacks! I will definitely fix some of these issues when I get back home today!

glem-fumeno 2026-04-20 17:34

I love the incremental aspect of this game! Great graphics too! The fact that you can hand draw the connections made me chuckle because I felt like I was a little kid that drew these connections on my dad's blueprints with a crayon. I think it would be cool to add a pencil drawing sound when you connect devices together

benjaminm 2026-04-21 02:00

Incredibly cool game. Very enjoyable and fun mechanic. I agree that navigation can be a little annoying at times.

sebastian-fuehr 2026-04-21 15:58

I love this game! I did something similar this jam, but not with drawing and trying to achieve a little more Mini-Motor Style kind of game with levels instead of an incremental game. I obviously love this idea

cotijelucie 2026-04-21 17:20

Love the game <3 It's amazing that similar ideas can lead to such different outcomes! The idea with the bandwidth loss would actually solve our issue with unreadable signal loss values :c If we ever have to remake the internet we'll split it. You're doing WiFi and cabeling and we're doing antennas and satelite dishes!

2026-04-22 01:49

A very innovative game, very consistent with the theme, and a very interesting idea. However, it is more difficult to move objects. It is more about directly linking objects. This design strengthens the meaning of "relationship" itself and echoes the title. When movement becomes difficult, players will instinctively look for another way to interact with the world, and Link happens to be that more elegant and meaningful solution. come on!

shivvvy 2026-04-22 08:43

I really love the design of this game, and the visuals are so clean. The beeping sound effects match perfectly! 🔊😊

awwwz 2026-04-22 12:42

A game with a bit of an engineering feel! The background music is really good! But the lines actually follow the mouse cursor, haha, my connecting lines are so ugly, but the square cross-sections with only crooked lines are visually interesting. The map expanding as it grows is quite impressive, and the background music even changes with the stage – it's really exciting! The art style is simple, the line shaking effect is great, and the little appliance icons are cute. I also like the design where clicking on it directly leads to the first level and the title! But honestly, I still haven't quite figured it out yet; maybe they could provide more guidance in the early stages?

brucezoom 2026-04-22 13:58

@glem-fumeno @benjaminm @sebastian-fuehr @cotijelucie @cat-value @shivvvy @awwwz Thank you all for playing my game!

@cotijelucie The revolution of modern internet! But in game lol

@awwwz Maybe I should have added more instructions. The purpose of the current design is to let players figure out most of the game themselves, but that's really hard to do. I have supply the control for any operation one can do when the mouse is hovered upon something interactible. But seems that's not enough.

2026-04-22 15:05

Very interesting art style

2026-04-22 16:05

Very interesting game! Reminds me of Satisfactory but with data. I like that the music evolves as you unlock more areas.

The UX is a bit rough though. It says "[LMB] Connect" but if you click and immediately move your mouse it moves the object instead of drawing a connection. Also the output icons are very misleading. At the beginning I thought that the splitter would only split up to 3 because both the splitter itself and the output icons have 3 outputs displayed. Only at the end when I tried to optimize things I realized that you can have more. Made everything much more messy without me realizing it.

By the way I think there no reason not to chain all your repeaters right at your network source since there is no package size limit.

brucezoom 2026-04-22 16:56

@neox Thanks for playing the game! - I agree the UX is a mess here. In fact, I intentionally made click and immediate drag to move the object to make it easier to move the object. I didn't realize it made the wiring hard. - I should have explicitly say the splitter can have more than 3 outputs in the tooltip. Sorry about that. - Chaining all repeaters near the source is definitely one strategy. However, you need to use WiFi to broadcast it to other areas, but the wireless sender has a bandwidth limit, which brings one challenge to this strategy. - It is also less modular. You would have to adjust the layout in the source area everytime you have enough money for a new repeater. While on the other hand, applying repeater only in the middle or at the end of main routes waste some data but provide better modularity.

drainkid 2026-04-23 02:24

Another incremental, and I really really liked this one! The positionally based aspects make this feel super different from other similar submissions to the Jam and I really enjoyed figuring out the best way to hook everything up. I also loved how the music progressed as you got further. My only real tripping point is that the pace kind of lags during the second section, before you get the repeater, but it picks back up again after that. Overall really well done!

yuriscat 2026-04-23 05:11

Here you go bro, yours is really interesting and the gameplay is pretty long. Two houses sharing one network port—both families are living the good life lol.

Small suggestions: Maybe add a hint for opening the door on the right? Or maybe I'm just dumb—I first noticed the 500 unlock area on the left, and only tried opening the door after I realized I couldn't route the cable over there. Is there no way to increase the network speed before unlocking the third area? Or did I just miss it... After I unlocked the 500 area, the previous port was still 256 with no second port—or were you guys intentionally making players choose strategically, like prioritizing wireless signal to the workstation?

yuriscat 2026-04-23 05:20

I just unlocked the third area and I got the repeater now! Maybe it would be better if this came earlier but with a limited purchase quantity unless you unlock new areas? Also just curious—does this kind of device actually exist in real life? hh

yuriscat 2026-04-23 05:33

The third area also only has one port! The people in this neighborhood should build a monument for me!

I noticed the music evolves as the game progresses, that's really cool. It's just that the area unlocking and progression feels a bit too slow for the audio transitions hh

brucezoom 2026-04-23 13:32

brucezoom 2026-04-23 13:58

@drainkid Thanks for playing the game! And sorry I didn't get to adjust the pace very well. The second area is intended to be slower so that the player has sometime to learn optimizing the WiFi network and can realize the bottleneck of the source output. But TBH I'm also kind of worried that it might be too slow.

scottyartt 2026-04-27 10:01

Love this game! It is simple and meditative. But i would say better to add a pan movement on RMB it would be more easy to navigate on a map

bigfatgua 2026-04-28 02:35

ijzm 2026-05-01 04:23

Fun game, very relaxing, I liked the map, I wish the UX was a bit better. Getting the 10k to unlock the third area was way too slow!

brucezoom 2026-05-02 00:17

@bigfatgua @ijzm Thanks for playing my game! And sorry for the pool UX and bad numerical design. I intended to slow down the game in the second area so that the player starts thinking about optimization, but it might be too slow.

fractal 2026-05-02 21:41

Really great game! I managed to get to $200/s before giving up. It would be great to be able to hover on the packets to see their size and also their frequency. Also the UX for connecting wires and dragging objects is a bit weird. One gets used to it, but it could be made more intuitive.

2026-05-02 22:58

Very well done game! I thought this was such a cool idea to make a tycoon-type game out of signals for the theme!

This game really has a lot of potential, I think the output might be a little slow? Although, I wasn't really sure how to optimize the network? Seeing an upgrade system could be really cool as a way of speeding up gameplay if you ever decide to continue development!

brucezoom 2026-05-03 12:52

@fractal Good job! Packet inspection is definitly a good idea. But, wait, I thought I have updated the UX so it should have been better. It is still weird? Could you be more specific about why it feels weird so that I can further improve it? I would really appreciate it!

@fleetingmoment Thanks for playing the game! The key idea to optimize in the current game is to prevent waste. Everytime an oversized packet (say 64mb) send to a device (say with input size 16mb), 48mb data gets wasted! So the optimization would be carefully divide packet to fit into the input size. But this might be too obsecure that it should have deserved some in-game hint/tutorial.
