this is the funniest thing i have seen in a while i love this
the art is super good! i liked figuring out this puzzle a lot. the only issues i had were that going across the chasm took a long time and i could place the friends outside the map. i only figured out that last one when i tried to kill the chicken for eating the bag of grains >:(
very cool game, love the game feel and the sounds, feels like it's straight out of an arcade. :thumbsup:
absolutely amazing. it felt a lot like kirby air ride when i mastered the boost mechanic thing. the art is really good and i love the particles and losing animation. good work!!!!
this is genuinely amazing. i've never thought i'd play as a pawn with a gun. it's very hard though, i couldn't get past the start part where all the pawns horde the king far away from you. otherwise it's incredible.

the polish is very good for this. i never thought i would enjoy playing a shooter where i have to save the mood so rhinos can procreate but i did. what a world we live in.
the art is really cool and i like the little messages on the screen near the start. i wasn't too good at this game but the premise seems really cool and i'd love to see something cool come from your game development journey.
I liked the camera and main gameplay mechanic. The graphics could use a little work especially with pixel scaling but otherwise it's good.

really cool graphics and sound design as always. it was a little bit different than most dream buster games but i liked the change. only issue was that i couldn't beat it because i didn't know how to get the damn bird away from the bottle of rum lmao. keep up the good work dream buster!
I really liked the music and art! Very unique compared to other games, nothing else had hand drawn style.
loving the voxel style. i wish the little pet ai thing was better but the game was very fun. right mouse to cut feels a little weird but it all around works. good job!
I like it a ton! Reminds me of Cave Story with the boss sprite and bomberman with the player sprite. I think if the bosses had blinking animations and a little more variety in attacks then it could be an even better experience. Good work with the music! Very good game, I want to see more!

I'm not too good at controlling it but I liked the little bit I played. My ears kind of heard from the audio, rapid loud "PEW PEW PEW" gets annoying after a while. I like the concept though, good work!
this is very good for an 11 year old. some of the collision is jank but it's a good start. i'd work on the camera and maybe adding a death animation. keep up the good work! i wish i started at your age.
very cool art style. the ending jingle was a little hard on the ears but everything else in the game was just so great. i love how some of the puzzles were like feeding creature the canned food. my only gripe is that i could make infinite syringes and almost filled up my inventory with them.

I didn't know how to keep the fire alive but I liked the art and movement. Only minor nitpick as an Eagle Scout is that there is no "firekeeping badge."
I really liked how this plays. I wish I could zoom in and out though. The puns were very funny.
@tmpvoid i tried for 3 hours to fix the jitter with no avail. balancing the game and timer were not possible with our limited time. glad you enjoyed the game!
has the webgl build worked for anyone?
@ondrasej thanks for the advice, i'll try it and upload a new build shortly. is uploading a new build like that against ludum dare rules? i'm not sure. @daniel-cox thanks for the comment! we were under a tough time crunch the last hours but we might be making a director's cut or something of the game. @epsil the spacebar feature was definitely not intended. they were supposed to be brakes and work perfectly for some people and not for others. not sure what causes it. we are actually working on a better victory screen where you throw the ball into the sky but you are entirely right about our time crunch. i had to make that victory screen in about a minute to stay on our deadline lmao.
the webgl version NOW WORKS! except the only issue is that the opening cutscene doesn't play.

i like the art and the sounds! i couldn't get the girl to stay alive past day 2 but it was a treat to look at.
reminds me a lot of the mario paint fly minigame but easier. i like it a lot, a nice little bite sized game.
absolutely incredible but i wish all the movement options were unlocked from the start. reminds me a lot of celeste in a good way, it isn't the exact same thing.
