I think the explosion range should be smaller, I can get a pretty high score by just spam clicking between both windows. You could also increase the size of the windows, too.
I think the real question is how the cat can open the tin but not flip them over? Was fine for a few minutes of time wasting.
Getting cans to land on the ground was easy, but it was really difficult to recycle or make them land with the right side up, so I only got 141 score. Really fun game!
I really liked the animations in the game! I didn't miss the animations you mentioned were missing, maybe because I was more focused on the cans.
Great job with the graphics! I think you should keep doing your own graphics for your future games. This was good and if you keep practising you'll be great in no time
Got an high score of 107!
The cat was really well animated. And it was really cute him at the bottom getting food while I worked for it ahah
My one advice was to give some simple shadows to the cat and the room, I think it would make them pop a bit since they already look pretty cute as is.
Are the cans 3D? I really like how they spin around. Great job!
it was pretty good but my cat drowned in cans. rip
The graphics are interesting. The gameplay is also nice.
Great game! Never seen such an agressive way of feeding a cat.
The graphics look good and the game is quite difficult (at least on hard mode)
Nice game! simple but effective! My cat many times took forever to eat :disappointed: Not a very smart cat :stuck_out_tongue: Keep on it!
You deserve more exposure just for however the tins work, good job!
Great job on the cat animations, he does behave exactly like the one i know. (Sleeping and eating)
At first i thought : "This is way too easy", then the room was filled with empty food cans and it got a bit more challenging to clean everything so the cat could eat. But in easy mode, I could have gone forever as well, i stopped at ~500.
But Hard mode was really hard and challenging, i only got 92 at best.
Good job !
Nice graphics! The game play is fun and intuitive. I wish their was a normal level because easy is too easy, and Hard was too hard. I do not think that you should be able to just click at the center of a window to feed your cat. Good game! Keep it up!
I love cats. That said, hitting cans out of the air is probably one of the funniest game mechanics I've seen. I like the attention to detail with the cans being drawn upside-down when they are flipped over. The pure chaos in easy mode (CANS EVERYWHERE!) was hilarious, but I wanted a challenge, so I tried hard mode too. Having to clean out old cans so the cat could get to the new ones was fun, but trying to flip cans over so the cat could eat from them was a bit tedious.
The cat AI was trolling me a few times I think, it would start going for one can, then it would switch directions to another can for no apparent reason and starve. :'(
This game is really good fun. Easy mode is nice and slow paced but hard mode is where it's at. I never thought I'd enjoy tidying up.
The physics work really well. An option for a light explosion would allow for some skilful juggling.
Great job it works very well, simple but effective. This cat is super chill in all this chaos making the game really funny.
Thank you so much for all your comments! (how did I get so many ratings/comments while having played only two other games yet? Did my game get featured somewhere or something? First time that happens)
I’ll make sure to play all of your games, as long as they have an HTML5 or Linux version.
@kiguel182
I did try to put some shadows and highlights on the cat itself, but I just realized now that I completely missed drop shadows, it didn’t even occur to me for some reason  But otherwise yeah, I know I have a problem with shadows and lighting, I have to figure out how that works.
And no, the cans are not 3D, I just drew 8 different sprites and I choose the appropriate one depending on the angle.
@fractal that’s a really impressive use of sprites. The rotations looked really good! Great work.
I thought the animation of the cat walking was really smooth. It took a while before I "got" it, but I was able to do ok on easy, and hard was, well, hard. So, good job! I wish there was sound but compo is hard, I totally understand. GG!
