This game, though hard to control, is really fun! You were able to make losing fun which is very hard to do! I also like the graphics a lot!

Lots of good mechanics in this game. I always love a good challenging platform. Good job!
There is nothing wrong with this game. Absolute masterpiece. I wouldn't believe this is made in a Game Jam
Really love the Tamo sprite, the Tamo bar, anything Tamo! The game still feels like its missing some elements but thats normal for a game jam. Overall, this game is well made!
Really love the story telling and it goes pretty well with all the other elements of the game. Good job!
The game is super clean and neat. Loved every level. Like as many pointed out, wished there was more. I had an idea of having trees with different burn rates to create more complex levels
This game is on the next level of ingenuity!!! Loved every element of this game!
The aesthetics of this game are really good. The controls still needs some adjustments but its a lot better than most I've tried. I found the levels to be the right difficulty but I would prefer it to be even harder (don't listen to me though, I'm sure most won't like a greater challenge). Really enjoyed playing your game!
I'm not much of a fan of shooters but this one is an exemption! It's really polished out I must say. Love the art and the feedback given!
I like the lighting effect and the slime movement. Good work! The levels are quite hard at first but I managed to get through after 2 deaths
This game is phenomenal! Not too advertise but my game also has bears, moles, and music XD. Anyways, the graphics are really well made! the gameplay is unique and fun!. Loved all of it!
The atmosphere and camera angle of this game make it feel like some old Resident Evil Game and I like it!!! I was kinda confused what to do though and got lost but I had a fun time (and a bit scared) going around the beautifully made house! Thanks for making this!
The Game looks Amazing! Really wish I could play but I got this GPU drivers problem that stops me from playing :( My laptop is old so there is nothing I can do
10 stars on Humor. This game is so entertaining I have to say. The ending was super satisfying. Enjoyed every second!
This game is really out of this world. Crazy ideas and it works!
Do you remember me from the stream? I came to fulfill my promise to play spidey-jones :) Anyways great game! The puzzles are great and the the different usage of the switch causes some misdirection which I think is a plus point! I initially thought to bring lil jones to the second switch but then realized to use the goblin instead. Really loved the whole game!
The art of this game is beautiful. The controls are a bit rough but I expected such for a Game Jam. I think this game has some potential!
The sounds in this game are really amazing I have to say. Feels like ASMR!!! The game is something I haven't seen in any gamejam entries. You guys really did a good job on this one!!!
This is a fine platformer for sure. Its simple but it gets the job done. It gets a bit scary when it gets dark thats what makes it stands out from the other platformers. Really had fun going through the levels!
Heyo VaizAragorn! Remember me? Anyways, you did a good job with your game. I would say the only problem will be on the collisions. I could see a lot of potential in this game!
I found breaking the rules really fun (Imma rebel) Love the music but it might be a bit too loud. Overall this game is a gem!
This game is really well made! The concept behind the plus and minus stuff really is fantastic and I've never seen such kind of game. One of the best platformer entries!
I got stuck the same area where joelloki got stuck in. I think he got stuck there the same way I did. I got the + power after that area then died from the lazer. I was brought back to the last checkpoint with the + power so no way of going forward. I think an easy fix is to revert back to the power-up present at checkpoint (don't forget to put back the power-up taken before dying). Another way is to make the power-up a checkpoint itself then make sure that its place at an area that you cannot just die from spawn.
Also, as many have said, there needs to be more checkpoints. Personally, I think a good place to put checkpoint is after any hard or annoying part. Players don't like doing something they have accomplished again. I think a contributing factor to this is the jumping. There are times when I felt like I was supposed to jump but I didn't. Try looking up on cayote time if you haven't yet. I think you have added some form of cayote time but it wasnt well implemented if ever you did. If you fix the jumping, I could say the checkpoint locations are fine. Most of my deaths are due to missed jumps.
But seriously, I applaud to how amazing this game is! I normally won't write this long for a game but I really liked it and you deserve a long feedback. Hope you don't take my criticism the wrong way. I really see the potential in this game and would love to give you support if you need any!
It's amazing how you were able to pull this off in 48 hours. Despite the previous comment, I really loved the green palette and the art style is amazing! I watched your stream and I was there when you revealed the big spoilers so I kind of knew what would come but it still was fun to continue playing. I have encountered some bugs but nothing too jarring or unplayable. It might just be me but I would liked a bit of thrill like maybe the memories fade after some time and you need to jump away before it gets you or something (though I also see some problems with that idea). Overall it was an amazing game!
Love the atmosphere of this game. Visuals are spot on! However, as much as I like it, I feel like it affects the gameplay a bit since it gets hard to perceive the depth. The controls are a little bit hard but I like the floatiness. Funny how I like things that are a bit problematic. Sorry if I sound like I have bipolar opinions XD Overall, the game is amazing!
Great game. One of the best flame mechanics I've seen in this Jam. The controls may still need some adjustments but overall a well made game!
I love this game so much!!! Much how. Much fun.
The combination of everything in this game goes so well together. It was very satisfying seeing the flower grow. Great game!!!
keep me breathing is breath taking! Everything goes well together and is a such a polished game! I realized how its not natural for me to know how to mix light colors when playing it. with only a few little tweaks here and there and this game will be absolutely flawless!
The feels of this game is spot on! Loved that white bloom effect near the shrine! The controls and enemy movements I believe still need a bit of work but otherwise this game is really well made!!!
This is by far the best Audio in a Game Jam I have ever heard! Stunning graphics as well. hats off to all of you!!
This game is surely addicting!!! I played some kind of card game like this where you match 4 cards with only one similar feature, I forgot what its called. I really loved that idea and to see it in a video game is just amazing!
The graphics for this game is so neat. You make simple shapes looks amazing1 After playing it several times, I ended up having the black ball make a perfect orbit that it never hits the center anymore. I get no points for that though
I realized I forgot to comment and rate. Love the eerie environment. The monsters creep me out in a good way! I feel the game still needs some improvement but overall great game!
This game! I didn't expect such. Love the mechanics. That really fun. I didn't really know how I killed him though. The god voice is a bit hard to understand too. But overall, it was fun and something different!
Developers First Record:! This shouldn't be to hard too beat :) Record.PNG
@samelgamedev I'm sorry about that. I did some research, it is possible that your DirectX driver is outdated. Are you running the game on an old pc? Thanks for your feedback
@frances There is a double Jump upgrade not so far in the game. I was inspired from Celeste which is super challenging. I knew people here may not be into difficult platformers so I made it easier than Celeste but I didn't want to make it too easy.
@samelgamedev I'm actually using a pretty old laptop with only Intel HD graphics and Intel Pentium so I was a bit surprised when I saw that error. I don't think my laptop supports DirectX 12.
@demkimos Thanks for playing! I agree that the rhythm is a bit off. I'm guessing its something to do with input latency and framerate which is very crucial in rhythm games. There are 5 sets of rhythm games, each will give you a new power-up. The game is pretty difficult but I intended it to be that way. It can be accomplished. Check out my new Recordrecord.PNG
@torh I have not uploaded anything yet to indiexpo. My games are placed on Itch. Do you wish for me to upload them to indiexpo?
@the1 yes. it was made in GameMaker:Studio 1.4
@lewaro @ausstein I agree that the rhythm parts are not well implemented. It is my first time ever making a rhythm game. One mistake I guess was not making an audio queue to the beat which really stops people from playing if they dont get it. Another would be a better visual queue. In most rhythm games, there's a "preparation" visual like a bar moving down or a ring shrinking down. This game lacked that. For the post jam, I do intend to fix all this. thank you for all your input!
@lexyvil Yes. I notice that part is not intuitive. The beat is a bit different from the first. Check when the light turn white. I am currently making a post jam version that would add audio and visual cues. Thanks for playing!
@hgcummings The biggest issue with my game is the rhythm part. When you and complete a rhythm sequence, you will get a new power-up like double jump. Most people get stuck in the rhythm parts so they dont get the power-ups. You can press ENTER to cheat your way and have all the power-ups :). The game gets really fun when you have all the powerups and forget about the rhythm stuff. I wasnt very clear with the moles but just don't mind those roaming around. I just placed them cause they cute. There are areas in the game where there are lots of moles like the first area with the flashing sequences. There are five in total, each giving you a power-up except the first one which you see in the beginning of the game.
And yes, there is something wrong with the rhythm timing. I've been trying to fix it but it just doesn't work. seems to be an engine bug. I can't get it to be precise. This is my first time making a rhythm game but I've experience making platformers.
I'm annoyed that these flaws are big walls and don't allow the player to proceed until they understand how to overcome these flaws. Once you do, trust me, the game gets really good :) I apologize for the weird rhythm mechanics.
THe visuals of this game are very well made! Love the concept and the backstory too!
This game is too good! the only problem I have is the sound gets a bit too repetitive. One of the best games I've seen! i would give this 10/5 stars for innovation!
Really Fun Game! Love how you implemented a highscore system. Always wanted to do that but I dont know how. It really helps me push myself forward. Everything about this game is awesome from the graphics to the gameplay to the feels. Solid game!!! One of the best!
This is neat game. Love the aesthetics! Reminds me of the cutesy things I see in Japan.
This is some unique idea I haven't seen before. It would be nice if you could choose who to heal. Sometimes I need to heal myself but i can't until all of them died. Sometimes, my mates don't like to kill but I noticed they do automatically attack when the goblins go near them so I stay as close to my mates as possible to get them to kill. Managed to win in normal difficulty. The game is a bit hard until you find the right technique. It was really satisfying once I found the technique. good game!
btw, I'm sorry I havent contacted you since the pandemic
The sprites and their animation is great! good job! I wish there was music to add to the feels of the game. I haven't seen any bugs while playing. Managed to reach level 5 but I died before the end
I'm a sucker for cute stuff. Love the ferret. The biggest plus point of the game! The level is well designed though not much a fan of the bugs! This a good example of a platformer done right!
one of the best time loop puzzles I've tried so far. Absolute fantastic! Love how you incorporated the frogs! Love the art style! My only problem is that there is no music sadly and sometimes the replay isn't accurate. But I understand that creating an accurate time loop could be really hard. I also did it in my game and I have the same bug as you. Other than that, puzzle level design is well crafted. Good job!
Full points on Humor my Friend! wow. Took me a while to find the true ending. Loved it!
Hello! it your fellow bear. This is an outstanding game most definitely! Let me just say the things I feel could improve.
- The last defuse should be the hardest to do. Many could cheese their way through guessing - Make the current character more outstanding that the ghosts. I have a hard time distinguishing the real from the fake when there are like 50 of us (yeah I suck lol) - when the timer hits below 1 second, make it turn red and make the music get a bit hectic to push that adrenaline. - A reset to menu button would be nice :)
As you can see, my suggestions are not game breaking because your game is truly a solid one! (Unless you put timer to zero which was hilarious!!!) Nice use of the theme, visuals are simple but work perfectly, sfx and music are used appropriately, looks like we have a winner! Good job!!!
I am amazed that this game could run properly on web. Well i know my pc is pretty beefy but still. Usually, even games like these will choke on Web. Good job on that! Then for the obvious part which you already know, the professionalism placed in this game is top notch!!! I also loved the way the grass and other stuff changes every time you die. Great implementation of the theme! All I wish is if there was more button actions like jumping and possibly jump or running. Maybe you had those in mind but placed your attention on the details. Overall great game!
the questions are humorous and fun! not sure if there is a way to finish it. I've been playing for 5 min but I keep on screwing up every 15 seconds. This makes me feel smart and dumb at the same time. weird feeling. gives me those flash games that we will forever miss after this year
I love the chicken noises and love the piano! I know a bit of piano and playing bumblebee is one of those hard pieces to play. nicely made!
Not sure if you remember me from past jams but I surely remember you. I know that a tricky fat cat game is always worth playing! And this game does not disappoint! Clearly a Doom meets Nuclear throne and a good combo I say. My only problem is I don't really see the theme on this one but the gameplay is spot on!
@tricky-fat-cat GMTK 2019 and LD46 were bear games. I was also in GMTK 2020 and of course LD47 but they aren't bear games anymore. would most likely make another bear game in the near future!
I Like how you came up with three ideas. Each of them is so unique yet uses the circle intuitively. Love the aesthetics! Here are my thoughts on all three.
The first game feels the most polished to me. The bouncing physics is spot on and the way the bar grows and shrinks feels amazing! I would suggest to make the yellow pick-up item bigger or let it gravitate towards the ball so its easier to obtain.
The second one is very fun. The way the spaceship moves is so smooth! The only problem is the depth system is a bit off. Initially, the dark areas look like square floors, but eventually, the illusion broke and I realized they were trapezoid walls. You have to take note that the corners further away are at a different scale than the ones closer. The last one was something I have never seen before and is my favorite among the three modes. I didn't really understand in the beginning what to do. I initially thought the fan was a shuttlecock from badminton whoops. There is a bit of depth problems with the rocks going over the boat but nothing that makes the game bad. the wave and wind effects was a nice touch. The radar effect was also ingenious!
But regardless of all the bad stuff I mentioned, it is very well made! All the flaws are very tiny and dont break the game so no worries. Each game was highly addictive! The way the menu also incorporates the circle idea is fantastic! overall great game! or games!
That explosion effect is spot on!!! The only thing missing is music but considering this is a compo game, I'll be more lenient on that regard. Smooth controls yet challenging! Never felt frustrating. Really well implemented! Good job!
edit: I just realized the enemy planes are clones!
Dude, I'm taking Computer Engineering and this game is my (game) JAM!!! Not really how electricity works though but who cares! I think this game could benefit with a fast forward button. I love the music! Overall great game!
edit: there is a speed up!
Really enjoyed this one! It takes good game design to make a good clicking game! Good job!
Last level was nice! I think the game would be nicer if the jumping tracks was introduced sooner
@arad-hamidsamiee Thanks! The background was added at the last hour. As you can see in the thumbnail, there are no mountains yet (I made the thumbnail before the bg). I wanted to add more stuff like jumping animation but ran out of time. Glad you liked it!
@marbles The clones and the player have the same movement script. However, the players movement is mapped to the keyboard whereas the clones are mapped to a list of instructions. this list of instructions is constructed by the player. Every step, the keys pressed and shoot angle is added to the list. Note I am using GameMaker, which is by default step based, not time based.
@gurigraphics As much as I placed a lot of time on the pixelart, the programming surely took most of my time and effort. Thanks for appreciating both!
@jhax Everybody is complaining about the difficulty and you want it harder lol. I turned friendly fire off for the sake of the majority. Glad you enjoyed the difficulty!
@le-don Congrats my friend! You are the first to ever download the game :) Yes, there is an unfair spawn the enemies make and that was my fault. I'm going to definitely fix that in the post game jam
@steventus Thanks for the review! I agree, all the qualms mentioned are stuff I wanted to fix. The dash was always on the to-do list but I ran out of time. The platforms are something I haven't made much effort balancing. platforms + enemies + moving camera = hard platforming. Take note of that if you want to make a platform game. I learned it the hard way.
This is the most polished game I have seen in any Jam! wow! The sound designer really did a good job and the sprites are amazing as well! Let's not forget the addictive gameplay! Picking all the upgrades and not bothering about the debuffs makes this game chaotic hell of fun!!! if there is one thing I found that could be improved is the enemies are a bit hard to see with the fantastic background. Sometimes I thought the round was over but there was one enemy still lurking in camouflage. Asides from that, absolute stunning of a game! A true GEM I would say.
For somebody that only had about 2 weeks under his belt in programming, I must say well done! It took me years to get to your level! Not many beginners know how to make good text typewriter effect. Love the sprites too. I swear, when I saw the old man, voiced out his lines like a wise elder :)
@josephdevelops Oh sorry about the misunderstanding. Though it's still amazing trying to use an engine you have not fully mastered using yet regardless
Unlike the other players, I actually was able to figure things out pretty easily although don't use me as your basis. I'm not so sure why you made the controls for the maze directional buttons while the character is WASD. I would prefer to just stick to one button configuration for both. The game needs a bit of polishing but it was nice to finish! It's great seeing bros working together to make a game. Me and my bro used to work together too
The bottom button reminds me so much of five nights at freddies. Nice implemenation of a click and ugrade game! I wish there were more kinds of power-ups like speeding up the arm. asides from that. Great game! great atmosphere!
The instructions given throughout the game makes it simple to dive right in. I never really felt too stuck at one point yet still feeling gratified for every puzzle solved. The save reset was a bit unnatural for me. I feel like there couldve been a better way to implement that. Maybe it should start recording the moment you press space on the portal. then if you press space again on the portal, it will reset the time loop. That's what I wouldve wanted. what do you think? Anyways, I love a good puzzle game and this one gave me the satisfaction. good job!
One of the best aesthetics I've seen. Such an eye candy! cant stop staring! The gameplay wasn't that good though. I think based on this game, you should try making some cute game focused on cuteness!! Trust me, you'll do well! Not many can manage such game but I believe in you :)
The feels of this game is really good! I did feel uneasy. For a moment, I thought something will jump scare me. Kinda wished there was.
@arad-hamidsamiee will try it! Hope I can handle it..
