beautiful looking game, it got kind of boring looking for the things because there was no way to know where they are. would be better to have some hints, etc. thanks for making it.

nice! you can develop the idea and then you can get a good game, now it’s boring to collect resources, and when you give the wrong item, it also increases his life, which is strange
Good job guys. Art is gorgeous, music is nice and chill. I like all the little touches, like dust spawning when you turn and fruit bouncing into existence. I'm not okay with worshipping an evil god (I am deathly allergic to kiwi and as far as I'm concerned, anything that craves this murder-fruit should be scorned), but nevertheless this was a good effort. Oh, I did have some issues in the inventory - sometimes things would not bring up the "offer" option when clicked.
@paulhocker Thanks! Yeah, it's meant to be a casual experience. Hints wouldnt have been a bad idea!
@borodaolen I think the reason behind the life increasing no matter what is that Tamo just really likes food. It currently gives only 25% of the full value of the food if it isnt what he wants.
@topbraj Ayy thanks man. Happy you had fun, death to kiwi gods!
Wow, the art, game, music was really great man. I loved the atmosphere. The control was so neat. It's really give a casual feeling even though the Tamo wants food only. XD It would be great if have a map show where Tamo is.
@helmisetsuna I also really think a minimap would be super useful in this game! Thanks for playing!
great looking and sounding game!
the artwork (sound and music) is really masterpieceish.
Very pretty game. My only issues are that it'd be nice to have an arrow pointing back to Tamo plus I didn't realize that the sponge icon was indeed a sponge and not something I needed to find in the world. In addition if items fall behind trees it's almost impossible to find them
This was so cool. I love the art and music. It felt fun running around trying to find the stuff Tamo wanted :) I got lost a little bit at one point but using the paths it was very easy to find my way back :) It was very chill just feeding stuff, and also I felt good knowing I was keeping our glorious Tamo alive! Nice job!
@linluk Thank you very much!
@aztec A way marker or minimap is a good idea yeah. The sponge could be more obvious too. Glad you liked the visuals though and thanks for the feedback!
@gamesplusjames Glad you had a good time! We had fun makin it :)
Great game! I like your take on the theme. The art was beautiful despite some occasional sprite tearing. I'm impressed by how much you got done! the inventory was a bit finicky sometimes but nothing that messed up the experience.
I was cursing Tamo under my breath as I fed the apple. We don't HAVE any of those bananas in town!
Awesome game!
@1punnyguy44 Happy you liked it! We got every into the game that we wanted except for animated grass.
@mrtroy Praise be to Tamo for he is worth it.
Really love the Tamo sprite, the Tamo bar, anything Tamo! The game still feels like its missing some elements but thats normal for a game jam. Overall, this game is well made!
Wow, the art is at a very high level.
I love the art and small environmental touches, the god tamo is really nice looking and well animated, the gameplay is very simple and it can be easy to lose track of where tamo is sometimes with the map being decently big. A great game but would be even better if there was a little more to the core gameplay.
I'll start by saying that the art is maravilous, it's a fun and simple game but it has a story in it, so I think the game could have an ending scene after you survived quite some time (I survived 10 minutes so I'm not sure if it does have), also I founded some bugs in the game, mainly with the inventory screen, I could only select some of the tiles that I had itens and some that I didn't and I could offer food without having it in those tiles. But in overall the game is really good. Great Job.
Very good artwork and gameplay! A couple minor bugs, but super fun jam game!
Hey there! The sound, graphics, and game play were really good. Honestly its hard to think of anything bad about this game. I feel like you could add some tiny objectives between Tamo and the fruit. Like a easy little light puzzles, or maybe some minor platforming. Which could give the level more intricate design. Like there could be essentially 2 floors to explore, one below the trees and one above the trees. The inventory had some issues sometimes, most of them were minor, but that last time it stopped me from feeding Mr. Tamo ultimately leading to my death, and the demise of my town. I think you could also have little reaction from Tamo, like if you gave him a food he didn't want then he could make a "ugh" or a "Eww" sound signifying that he was not happy about being offered what he didn't want. Well all in all it was a great game! Good Work!
Great work - the art is gorgeous, the game flow is simple and clear, the idea resonates great with the theme. Really enjoyed it!
@grizzliusmaximus Glad you like the character :) Definitely could add more features haha
@pusheeneiro Thank you!
@pandepic Yeah we've had a few people get lost. Map would of been a good idea. It was great that Krass managed to implement those little environment details. I ended up animating those last minute haha
@marcelo-zoletti Yeah that inventory caused us a little trouble. We didn't have a cut off but that would of been a good idea!
@tomd1013 Glad you enjoyed it!
@thecrancher Enjoyed watching the stream! Those alternate reactions are a great idea for sure
@dan-colman Thanks for playing and happy to hear you had fun :)
Great job!
I really love the art style and sound design, the animation when washing Tamo is awesome. The rules are simple and easily understandable! Too bad you have to change key to confirm giving an item or quitting the inventory.
Thank you for making this game!
Nice looking game with gorgeous art and nice gameplay.
I'm so impressed by the graphics on this one wow! Absolutely gorgeous. I did encounter a couple bugs - items appeared on the edge of the play area and couldn't be picked up, and a few times items appeared behind trees and were really hard to see. I think a little more transparency on the trees while you're behind them would help. Overall this is one of the best looking and playing games I've tried so far though! Great work!
Very nice game, lovely art, hearwarming mechanic, and so much potential for more!
Very pretty game with some amazing pixel art! I'd love a spin-off game with Tamo as the main character, I'd follow that smug god everywhere! Great job!!
A truly beautiful game with really nice audio. Sadly the gameplay feels abit lacking. I was also looking for a weird mushroom for a while until I realized that it was a sponge and that I had to clean my weird red god. Must be nice through to live in a world where it just rains food from the sky all the time. I don't know if there was more story than just signing the contract, because I got bored quite quickly. With a bit more to do this game could truly become something really cool though!
A nice game! Great work!
I really like the cute art and chill music - together they create a wery warm a peaceful atmosphere.
The gameplay got a little boring pretty quick, but I enjoyed just exploring the location. I think it has a lot of potential! Would enjoy more interaction with the town to get the items for Tamo.
A couple of strange moments I noticed: * some sound effects were panned to just right or left for no reason seemingly (like the pencil strokes when you sign the contract). Don't know if this was intentional. * it was wierd to me to have the cursor out at all times, when you only need it in menus and your inventory. I thought I could interact with things on screen with the mouse, but it turned out not to be the case. * the inventory dropdown menus bug from time to time, flipping upside down or scaling. * having the "quit to menu" option in the inventory is very confusing. I accidentally clicked it a couple times on autopilot to close the inventory X)
The game looks great apart from those horizontal lines that show when you move vertically and some ui glitches: https://imgur.com/vP6Y3dm
The gameplay has not much going for it as far as I can see.
@doot Glad you like the game! yeah the UI does some funny stuff haha
@artyom-volkov Thank you!
@thebreakfast Yeah we should of had the fruit also appear through the trees. Right now only the player does
@samstallion Thanks! Maybe we'll do more with it some day :)
@harry-alissavakis Maybe we'll do something like that!
@andidebob I agree there isn't much gameplay. Our plan was to keep it as small as possible but polish it as much as we could.
@wavewava Good point about the cursor. Good to keep in mind for next time . I think the quit button needs a confirmation popup or something
@wormius Our goal was to complete something small. Now that we have though maybe we can be more ambitious with gameplay next time. Glad you like the art overall though :)
I love, love, love the graphic, audio and idea! It really could be somthing bigger in the future, like, a beginning for a great adventure where feeding the "god" is just the beginning (like, then you need to travel with Tamo to get back his powers or something?). Anyhoo, a good one! It just got a little boring after some time as some other people mentioned but that's notmal for a jam game I feel. Also the bugs in inventory is a thing to improve but it wasn't a problem for me, it was just looking weird visually xD
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

Many good things about this! Visuals, audio, concept was cool! The down side was the gameplay got repetitive and the end game was only a lose condition - so the motivation to keep playing is impacted by that! Really lovely entry though - I felt an attachment to Tamo!
