Good entry :)
Pretty fun little game. A bit unique, i've never really played a game with that mechanic before. Good work.
Good work and great job capturing a simple idea!
Really interesting game.. I had a little difficult at the beginning, but after figure out what I had to do, I'll say it's an interesting mechanic you used on this game, I played for a good time and had fun..
Congratulations on your entry for this Ludum Dare o/
really love the puzzle aspect of this! the levels are simple, but each one feels unique and they all have you thinking differently about how to exploit the enemies' movement. i did find myself tending towards the brown blocks a lot more than the grey blocks, perhaps you could have balanced that better? the concept is very fresh, and in fact i do think stall-to-win is probably the most original main mechanic i've seen so far. it's straightforward, but also potentially infinitely complex. would love to see you expand on it at some point in the future! maybe try experimenting with enemy shapes and block types?
I think this game is interesting, I never played any that was this unique, it needs polishing but I think you have something here
Pretty good game, at first I was confused, but then it became easy for me.
I like the idea. Controls (placing the blocks) was a bit hard, but otherwise felt well. What I would like is a way to abort buying something.
really interesting idea, controls are hard to master.. also took me some time to understand what the deal is
Very cool concept, but a bit boring to play in practice, due to the length of the various timers and the way you're just not doing anything while they come down. Needs adjustment, and maybe more interesting levels? Like I could see how to beat the level but just couldn't be bothered, lol. I would work on the basics and then maybe add some different enemies, too. Overall a pretty good puzzle entry. I had issues with the webpage scrolling while placing blocks up and down, despite trying shift and/or ctrl to do it (using Edge).
Nice concept but I found it quite difficult to master the shift key controls - I always placed a block in the direction I wanted to run after I had stuck enemies in a corridor. if I could remove/pick a block with the same technique it would be awesome. As of now I can screw a 5 minute maze building on level 5 with just one block misplace. The game is cool - I can see it, just some minor corrections are needed to make it a lot more enjoyable. Also at first the second level looked like one must block himself in order to win, but it was like the previous one - a stall level, a bit counter intuitive for people that have used to learn new game mechanic each stage.
This is one of my favourite LD games. The mechanic is fun and I finished all levels. The game looks a bit bare bones and it has no sounds, but man it sure is fun
