Great game, we thought of such concept, but in 2D and decided that is sucks. But your realisation is so elegant and fun to play!
I really enjoyed this game!
addictive jam game verry fun ? maybe an android build will be preety fun to play (with the Accelerometer)
Build it for mobiles, it's truly catchy!
Nice game! Try to add some animations to make it less static
Kinda like a Voodoo game, but prettier !
Addicting well scoped game! Some character animation like flipping them based on the direction they were moving would be been a nice way to add a little more motion to the scene.
Overall, great Job!
Nice usage of tilt shift. Kinda interesting base gameplay. But I think radius of each layer can be bigger, with more unique objects.
The graphics are really nice! I like the blur effect. Why are his arms up the entire time? :joy: Nice little game, good job!
You really nailed the theme here! Nice little game with some really cool graphics in particular
Feels a lot like those "avoid color x" mobile games where you have to get a ball as many levels down as possible. The low poly artstyle works quite well for this game and, control/gameplay-wise, this is really intuitive. Had fun playing.
I had really fun playing this:D At first it felt kind of slow and I didn't really see where the challange was in the game but as the pace went up the game felt really exciting and engaging:D Nice low poly graphics, good movement and really polished UI. Good job!! :D
Cool game! I liked the arcade feel. I was going to say that the game was too easy, but it turns out that it speeds up as it goes on. This is great, because it allows time for you to get used to the mechanics and for you to use your newly gained skill.
Love the graphics, the circular playing field is a nice innovation, controls are simple, intutive, and responsive. Yeah, seems like a winner.
Nice implementation of a known gameplay mechanic. I found myself playing this game for a while :) The graphics are very good. Good job.
Probably one of my favorite entries for the 48th LudumDare. I like the main aesthetic and you did a great work on shaders - especially when stone tower brights. The gameplay is usual - I saw many casual games using such gameplay, but yours is really well done. You deserve my respect for what you share with us - and also for your incredible score with my game **Tunnel48**. Thank you. I wish you the best. Bye ++
@anthonyharmitage @psv-games-studio Thank you! :)
@bubul69 @usenrame Thank you, a mobile game build could be a nice idea! :D
@kassymov-iran @cral Thank you for the feedback, we wanted to add animations and might update it in the future, but sadly we didn't have the time to do it for the jam!
@diringer-leo Thank you! :D
@treslapin Thank you! We wanted to do some animations but didn't have the time to implement it. He looked way too awkward sitting with his hands around the cart or forward, so to add to the cute look we just decided to keep his hands up instead, haha!
@dorkulon @nalquas @theheheo @flashviper @shaolin-dave @attala Thank you all so much for playing!
@geckoo1337 Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed it! :)
I forgot to mention, I also really like the procedurally generated levels, and compared to others (including my own) it doesn't appear to break gameplay no matter what is generated.
That's an awesome game! The art style was incredible, music was pretty good, the gameplay got a little repetitive, but overall great game!
This is super good! I love the visual style, and the gameplay is fun. The sound effects were a bit too high-pitched for my taste, but suited the game well enough. This game feels comfy and I love it.
I loved playing this game as balancing how far away the closest drop is, how far away gems on your level are, what the floor below you looks like, and how much time you have left can lead to some fun snap decisions. I also got a score of around 500 before I remembered you could jump, which drastically changed the nature of the game lol. I do wish the difficulty was more gradual and constant though as it seemed like there was a jump from the start to the midgame, but the endgame felt very similar to the midgame.
Cool game! This is super good!
@shaolin-dave Thank you so much, we tried our best to make it not break gameplay! :)
@xxatrain223 Thank you so much! :)
@alchemic Thank you! Yeah, sound design is sadly neither of ours strong suit. I'm happy you enjoyed the game!
@wiredoverload Thank you for your feedback, the speed of which the descent is happening probably needs a bit of balancing. I'm glad you liked the game! :D
@saussol Thank you!
It is a very polished game and makes a lot of fun.
The graphics in the game are nice, I like this style.
I feel like I've heard of a game similar to this ! - Overall, really nice work, great graphics and a cool idea!
Very addictive gameplay, good job. Pretty graphics, too.
Very nicely done! The idea is nice and I really liked the 3D art. The game has very low FPS in fullscreen for me, even though it works fine if I do not enable fullscreen, not sure if that's a bug or not. I didn't beat your high scores but reached about 600.
Very fun, and addictive and looks really cool. One thing is I think it moves up too fast when u get too far and its impossible to keep up, just needs a little bit of rebalancing.
Great concept, the controls were smooth and helped the look of the game. After a few levels, when I noticed the constant movement towards the top, it felt like only going for gems of opportunity was the better way to go.
Graphics are really good.
Best score: 1182
I will never know how you got over 5000 lol, but i really enjoyed it! nice concept, cute art style. I didnt find anything wrong with it. maybe player fall speed could have been a tiny bit faster?
Great game! The first run I did, I failed to notice that the screen was chasing me, but once I got that the tension was great.
Love the art style, and the idea of rotating around a central pillar.
The jump felt a little floaty, but other than that it controlled really well.
Overall, a very fun, cohesive experience.
super simple, great art style, polished execution, definitely fun.. solid entry!
This game is very simple but very addictive. It fun to play.
Good lord, how did you get 5000! I got just over 1000 and I was already having to skip the gems just to keep pace with the screen moving down haha.
Good fun with an addicting game loop. With a few more mechanics in the level design and maybe a bit more forgiving screen move speed, I think it would make a fun mobile game!
Graphics look good in terms of models, but I think the post-processing effects were a little over the top with the blur / shine, but only a tiny bit. They still looked very good!
Good job :thumbsup:
What a wonderful game. A really clever take on the platformer and the theme.
Fun little game, the layout reminded me a bit of Helix Jump. Good work! Clear improvements would be to make it more clear what the obstacles are. At first it was hard for me to detect that the TNT was a obstacle, until I got destroyed by it.
@rick2112 @kenforest @gamesbysaul @yeppe Thank you all very much for your kind words! :)
@fractal Hmm, it does seem to have a bit lower FPS in fullscreen for me on the web-version as well, nothing too bad though. I hope it didn't impact the gameplay too much, we'll look at it!
@vladimir-dainovski Thank you! It's really hard trying to balance difficulty with what seems fair for a game, we'll keep it in mind! :)
@xeke-death Thank you! That's a very good score :D
@branton-lansdale Honestly, I think it took a lot of concentration from Rendow's side haha. At some point you just have to focus on going down and not taking the gems anymore, but it's very precise! Thank you for your feedback! :D
@divford Thank you so much for the feedback, I'm happy you enjoyed it! :D
@nikolaj @deepak-kr Thank you!
@joedev Haha, yeah at some point you just kind of have to abandon the gems and focus on surviving - I still have no idea how Rendow got 5000! Thank you for your suggestions! Yeah, looking back at the post-processing a couple of days later, I do agree that it could've been a tiny bit more subtle! Thank you for your feedback!
@willjardine Thank you!
@warxen Thank you for your feedback, we'll keep that in mind! :D
Nice game. I like how it starts slow and gradually speeds to the pacing where you literally can't do much, just fall. I had fun playing it. Great entry!
Congratulations on the game, the idea was well executed, I felt the cart was very light, but nothing to spoil the gameplay, I appreciate the opportunity to have known your work, a big hug to everyone, and I await your evaluations regarding my game
Excellent visuals and game feel, very polished! My worst enemies are the rock walls, I wish I could be the one using dynamite to get rid of them. Very nice job!
Reminds me of Mickey Mania. Not bad
@bereg @etrealjunior @rambar @jormarysky Thank you all for your feedback! :)
This is really cool! Ive not seen this aproach to a endless runner before with the central column pivot. Cudos! Like people say a few more animations, obsticles types and a bit of tweeking and this would be great on mobile!
@pabulum Thank you! :D
Lots of fun, and love the visuals! Here's the stream clip where I'm playing it; https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1011359891?t=00h40m59s
Very enjoyable game, simple but smart idea. Graphic is sweet and controlls are smooth. Nice Job.
@bluishgreenpro Thank you for the comments during the stream, as well as the actual stream! It was very helpful seeing somebody play the game.
@locustjin Thank you!
Nice little game, the dynamite hitbox felt a bit harsh but it didn't prevent me to enjoy the game! Good job, especially with the graphics!
@mrpouletbzh Thank you for your feedback! :)
