A well polished game. The art is pretty good, but the font is a bit hard to read. Another awesome thing, is the fact that you managed to add so many different weapons and items. The controls are a bit slow at times, and the difficulty may be a bit off, but that's fine considering it's a game jam. Overall, a pretty good game.
Simple but very fun and addictive ! I like the fact that there are a lot of weapons :)
Simple gameplay, but the variety of weapons was quite fun! Also very difficult in my opinion, only made it to level 6. My favorite weapon by far was the missile launcher, love it when things go boom :)

I do like the concept the game, it's simple but if you worked it more, it could have a lot of depth. I did find that the particle effect was a bit too crazy, it kept on make me lose track of my mouse.

It was interesting see all the different weapons and how the worked :D But if the orb was SO important that everyone wanted to destroy it, why was there only one unit defending it? What was THE ORB? We never know... it was important for sure, or was it? Maybe the others tried to feed it and keep it alive! And player was the bad guy trying to stop feeding the rob...
@rojola It was ment like that you think that you is the good guy and the robots are the bad guys, but in the end you find out that you is the bad guy, and the robots were there to eliminate it before it exploded. Thanks for the question:)
Good game! It gets really hard when multiple enemies start attacking you. It would have been cool to have some background music. I liked the light effect of the orb!

Simple gameplay, but well done! Especially impressive for being only 12! Could the orb actually be destroyed? It seemed like enemies were absolutely hammering it, yet it never got destroyed. That made the game a lot easier than expected since it was pretty easy to dodge enemies just by moving. I was a little annoyed at first that I couldn't shoot through the orb, especially because the player movement felt pretty slow, but it ended up not being as much of a big deal as I expected. One time a gun seemed to spawn under the orb which I almost didn't notice at first. Nice work overall! There was solid variety with the enemies and guns!
@adamv Thanks. the orb may well be destroyed if it gets enough damage.
This is one of the funnist entires I've played. I tried it 4 times and would probably play it some more if I didn't have other things I have to do.
Shooting with the snipe rifle and explosive launcher in particular felt really satifying. The robot AI seemed to work well. The graphics looked nice and the particles were really good.
The HUD could use a little work, I thought the gun icon was just a big gun I could pick up for a few playthroughs and it would be nice to have a healthbar for the orb.
The game was really difficult but it didn't come across as annoying or unfair. The best I got was to level 15 before a bunch of minigun robots got me trapped in the corner.
Screenshake and audio would make this game feel even better.
