Beautiful and great fun. I like the 2 ways the theme is present in your game. Did I mention beautiful - the sprites and animations in this game are glorious! Great job.

> there are only a few levels

You're right the game is only lacking more levels.

justin-klinchuch 2020-10-07 21:51

Nice sprites and animation, and a very pleasant screen transition effect.

clemonades 2020-10-07 21:56

The sprites are adorable and the screen transitions are amazing. You did a great job!

It's simple, neat and fun. I can see that it'll benefit a lot from some sound effects.

tommy 2020-10-07 22:02

Lovely little game! It's a pity that the sound is missing though, but I know how it works when you are a single dev with a long TODO list and only a couple of days :D

fragileannihilator 2020-10-07 22:21

Although the game is short, I liked the mechanics. It's really good gameplay-wise

jordan-kelly 2020-10-08 20:10

This is a really promising idea, I felt guilty every time I let that little guy fall into lava... which was too many times :D

noam-blei 2020-10-08 23:34

Woow really cool graphics and transitions and mechanics, also kinda cute

noam-blei 2020-10-08 23:34

It would be nice to add sound effects in the future

pincushion 2020-10-08 23:37

Good stuff. I just want more. More levels, and some sound. The spin mechanic feels really good.

ollie-hall 2020-10-08 23:45

I love this! It's a great concept that I really think you could expand upon and make a bigger game out of. Add some cool music and sound effects for the spin (I suggest this https://youtu.be/cerkDJLuT_k just kidding) and it'll be even better. Got Zelda vibes from this - awesome job.

I really enjoyed this. I liked the fact that the things that stop you dying are the enemies. Keep working on it, it has promise!

apples-mmmmmmmm 2020-10-14 21:59

Would definitely be nice to have to music, and sfx. I noticed in one of the rooms it's possible to both die and continue to the next room at the same time by spinning onto the lava and landing on the door simultaneously. Would be great to see what some more mechanics/environmental obstacles as well as more levels could bring to the idea.

louiejams 2020-10-15 08:59

Great little entry! I know you said you struggled for time to implement sound and fx, but to help improve your page, you could add some screenshots and also let people know that its a web version, i think more people would be willing to try it!

jd557 2020-10-15 10:06

You say that the asset quality is questionable, but I thought they were pretty good. Reminds me of some GBA games.

Shame that there's no audio. Some SFX would make this so much better :(

leora 2020-10-23 12:15

Neat game with good presentation. It could indeed use a few more levels as already mentioned

matootsy 2020-10-24 10:26

Very nice concept. I like the simplicity of the pixel art and the control is clean. Of course, there's work to do to improve it, but for a Jam it's already a good base. The concept of breaking the loop while stubbing the blue ennemies is working well. If you keep working on it I think you would be able to make a very cute little game.

lukas-kunce 2020-10-25 20:25

i really enjoyed this one, great concept, and the gameplay mechanic just felt good. wish there were some sfx to accompany the minimal but charming visuals. good job!:)

knatt 2020-10-25 20:35

Nice submission. If your looking for something quick and simple for audio I use https://beepbox.co

fractal 2020-10-25 20:49

Nice game, even though I would have like to see more levels.
