LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Planet 43 by MyFriendTames 2018-12-05T00:59:51Z

It was very cute! I found the graphics very simple, yet I was impressed with the way they were executed (the smooth bouncing of the ludums, the expressive planet). There was one thing that I didn't fully understand with the gameplay, but that was because I couldn't go back to the rules after playing. Great job!!

The Sacrificial Trail by PhilStrahl 2018-12-04T01:18:39Z

Wow! Talk about sacrifice! Having to survive by drinking COFFEE!! (I'm a tea drinker :P)

Jokes aside (I watch your LD videos, I know how much you love your coffee :D), I died pretty quickly during my first playthrough, but it gave me an idea of what to watch out for. I have an innate fondness for analyzing data, so picking out the best path based on resources and time was fun for me. The ending was pretty cool! I got the best ending on the second try!

That Unicorn asking for all that coffee. Must have been you in your next life.

I do have to agree though that there is a good beginning and ending, but the middle (gameplay) has little personality. It's all calculations (which as I stated, I personally enjoyed) but a bit of life could have been breathed into it. Small snippets of text like the wind whipping the tops of the trees around, you drive by the body of a dead animal on the side of the road, or little comments from shopkeepers while you shop.

All in all though, I still liked it, and enjoyed playing it!

The greatest sacrifice by xesenix 2018-12-04T02:09:00Z

I agree that condensing the screen and having a more visual interface would be nice, but I still lost a solid half-hour to trying to get further in the game. Great little game!

Collatero by TheFunAttic 2018-12-05T23:12:39Z

This is a great game! The animations, the music, the gameplay... Everything was spot-on! Great job!

Key Break by BlondeMan 2018-12-11T01:27:51Z

Interesting game! I kept forgetting about the rotation mechanic too and kept running in circles until I died. Maybe add some soft of collision where you'll turn to face an enemy if you move in their direction? For those of us that didn't quite clue in XD. Also, in the later stages, it means that mistake won't pin you between two enemies and cost you your life.

Asteroid Fall by LadyMistLeaf 2018-12-04T13:13:06Z

@blondeman That was my original plan, but I didn't have time to implement a way to "turn off" the death count on spots that were already hit, so the number can end up in the negative if multiple fall on the city where there are more people.

Thanks for playing! :)

Asteroid Fall by LadyMistLeaf 2018-12-04T13:29:09Z

@myfriendtames Thank you! :)

Dark Sacrifice by Peterrior55 2018-12-10T02:52:31Z

Grats on your first game jam! I agree that it was rushed, but you said yourself you had less time since you weren't available the first day.

There were some bugs, my first play through there was no light at all, I literally had to shoot to see anything, and the enemies were not moving.

The second play through was a lot better. I had the light radius and the enemies were actually chasing me. Until I died. Then I got to keep the light radius, but the enemies were all just standing there.

Nonetheless, considering you had about half the time we did, I find you did a good job implementing everything according to your idea!

Foothold by Vinay Rao 2018-12-05T01:23:09Z

I like it! It's cute and the mechanics work well. The only downside is when you're making platforms and you don't realize you're out of tiles until you're already falling, haha! Good job!

LD45 — Start with nothing

Thanks for Nothing by PhilStrahl 2019-10-08T00:47:05Z

I'm a sucker for humor so I loved this! Short but entertaining! I was laughing before the game was even launched (ugly af, and I dropped it down if there were other witty options!) I know you're better at graphics than this (6210 BC was cute graphics-wise) but I also know you struggled with Unity itself. Looking forward to what you can make in the next LD!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Don't Touch the Button by Yngvarr 2020-04-24T00:51:53Z

I like this very much! I haven't been able to complete the bomb puzzle though, so I'm sure I missed some of the chatter from the fish, but he was entertaining!

Rampage by PhilStrahl 2020-04-23T00:32:12Z

This game is amazing! Cute, funny, fun to play, theme interpretation was well thought, music was great and made you energised and happy, which is what was conveyed with the art style (bright and happy!). By far my favorite of your game jam entries!

I would also wish for more levels, but I know how much trouble you had implementing what we do have as is, so... I'll take it! I almost lost Rémy to the wall on that last stage, but that's fine, I pre-emptived a line of bandages to slow him down and saved my dash >:)

Raising the bar by SpaceMonkey 2020-04-22T23:43:28Z

Great game! Figuring out the combinations was fun! Although I still hadn't unlocked that third slot to do a 3-ingredient mix XD.

I would however recommend some sort of a timeframe. I was having fun playing then it just ended without warning. Just a little blurb saying "You have X weeks to save your bar" would be great :)

Type IT! by Hedgy 2020-04-23T00:01:31Z

Good job! The game was well made, although there were some bugs, like the textbox not being selected by default and the enter key bug, but that's the glory of LD! I see you've already had some help with that, which is awesome!

What I do recommend gameplay-wise, is that even though a word blew up on IT, it should still be in memory so that the word can vanish from the textbox in case it happens to be typed in just a fraction of a second after it explodes. I've had cases where I was getting overrun, but I lost time deleting a word that had already attacked IT, when I could have eliminated another word instead.

Great job and I look forward to seeing your LD47 entry! :)

The Diamond-Flowered Orchid by Frank Gevaerts 2020-04-24T00:39:13Z

I have to admit I got frustrated a little at first. It was my first time playing this type of game, so I thought it was essentially a "choose your own adventure" type story. I started trying things with the arm, no luck, even though I had all the items. Eventually I figured out the coconut. And on one occasion I got a hint because I tried a few too many times. That was when I realized I had to play around with the words in the commands, and that was what did it for me. I started trying different word combinations and got happy when I figured things out! Was out of there and healthy in no time! I really liked the waterfall and yes, while I did jump at the first sound effect, I expected the others and they really set the mood for me.

The frustration on my part was the lack of experience in these types of games, so not your fault. But I have to admit I enjoyed it and am happy I played it! Thank you for introducing me to a new type of game!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Giraffe Roller by commanderstitch 2020-10-10T23:55:15Z

Took me a second try to understand what I was supposed to do, but I didn't get it right then either, took a few tries. But I did it!

This Party Sucks by Yngvarr 2020-10-09T01:44:56Z

This was a great little game! The music fit very well for the party theme, the graphics were adorable, the sounds effects funny. Great job!

Also, the vinyls... I see that you did there...

Ouroboros Paradox by TolMera 2020-10-09T01:27:33Z

This is an amazing game for 72 hours! I wasn't able to get far, FPS is not my forte, but I was impressed by pretty much everything (music, art, mechanics, even if those robots were kicking my behind real bad :P). Awesome job!

Anomaly 47 by PhilStrahl 2020-10-23T00:29:49Z

Wow, that was a great entry! The opening and ending screenshots were gorgeous, the art in the game was very nicely done, the music great as always... Best entry I've played yet!

Also... Is it possible to have a list of the "crewmembers" in your game? I'm curious who got in on the deathtrap. I saw Preda and I saw RedHermit found Hedgy

Gorilla Power by Jiri Hysek 2020-10-20T00:33:52Z

I really liked this entry! I actually watched Phil play it and thought "I have to play that one, it looks like so much fun!" and I was right. It was fun, and the gorillas meeting again at the end was adorable. Great entry!

Cursorial by RedHermit 2020-10-11T18:54:10Z

Not so much a game as it is a journey (which, well, you DO tell us upfront). It is very interesting information, and I have to admit I loved it. The music fit the calm, curious mood very well, and it was a fun take on the theme. The graphics were simple, yet adorable in the case of the hamster, and the simplicity helped. All in all, I found it a rather relaxing experience, thank you for your submission :)

Energy Loop by SpaceMonkey 2020-10-09T01:36:33Z

This is a very nice game for 8 hours! I like the sound effects in the game, and the rotation of the energy balls (in a loop!). Great job!

The Watchmaker by Frank Gevaerts 2020-10-20T00:11:43Z

Wow, I definitely could not figure this one out on my own. Thanks for posting the solution too! It was a very interesting game, with lots of watch info and the backstory of the character was a nice touch! Was not expecting the way the story went at all!

Seasoned Herder by lilou_cormic 2020-10-20T00:23:33Z

I thought I was doing pretty good! Then I saw my score... It was adorable and I love the little polish touches (the animals "bouncing") and the music was very fitting. Good game, guys!

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-05T15:34:21Z

@zachary-barbanell Thanks for playing and for your input! The pumpkins (at the bottom of the screen with text) are the hint. Each new zone has a pumpkin with a new quote. I ran out of time to draw all the individual pumpkins though, so I had to reuse the first three. If you take a wrong path, you're back at the beginning and have to start the same sequence of paths over.

@tolmera Thank you for playing! I figured part of the "puzzle" would be to figure out how to progress with the small hints given rather than explain how to play it. Do you think I should include more details in the game description?

@spacemonkey Oh, cool! Congrats on finishing it! Thank you for playing!

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-09T00:46:37Z

@yngvarr Kickable pumpkins? Oh dear... I mean- Yes! Yes, totally planned! Thanks for playing!

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-20T21:27:33Z

@ditam Thanks! It was essentially a straight ripoff of the lost woods in Zelda OoT where everything looks the exact same, but the sequence is what gets you through. I actually already had multiple difficulties coded (this was easy) so if I had a few more hours, you would have seen longer ones too lol. Thanks for playing!

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-27T22:51:43Z

@fractal I believe that in compo, you are allowed to use free assets. The music was made prior to the jam and is free to use in projects. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, thanks for playing! The small pumpkins were just supposed to represent the one talking at the bottom of the screen, which were the hints :)

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-27T22:53:30Z

@sakura-magika Being able to push the pumpkins was actually a glitch, they were supposed to be immovable. The pumpkins speech at the bottom of the screen was actually the hint. Thanks for playing!

Arcane Forest by LadyMistLeaf 2020-10-28T13:03:37Z

@fractal Duly noted! Apologies for mislabeling. I will keep that in mind for the next jam.

Lost In The Woods by PatrickJR 2020-10-23T00:04:41Z

Very nice game! The only hole I managed to find was the rabbit hole, so I didn't get to escape the forest.

Loop Deleter by Zachary Barbanell 2020-10-09T01:11:07Z

Cool little game and a great twist on the theme! :)

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Ppbbfftt Mining Ha! by commanderstitch 2021-05-07T01:01:28Z

Holy macaroni! So much chaos! And the bosses! An alligator and a weasel with jetpacks! And a ghost! Sadly, I was able to kill the ghost only at the cost of my own life, so I was unable to see if it went past that. But still! Entertaining chaotic game XD

Descentris by PhilStrahl 2021-05-06T23:42:52Z

Gotta admit, even being a tetris fan, I didn't expect this to be as addicting as it is! I had to remind myself that I have to play and rate other games rather than just trying to beat my own high score all night XD. Made it to 440K+ I may revisit for the high score wars. The music fit, as it always does in your games, and it was very visually appealing! Great job!

Deep Blue by Jiri Hysek 2021-05-07T00:36:16Z

Great little game! I made it all the way to the end! (Let's not talk about how many deaths it took me to get there *ahem*) The graphics, while minimalistic, were well executed (that flashlight glow!) and beautiful in their own way, the sound contributed well to the mood and the atmosphere! Wow!

Deep Diver by lilou_cormic 2021-04-29T01:43:51Z

High score: 615! A LOT of fun, easy to play, and I agree that the fish intro should be accessible from the menu. It was scrolling by a little too fast for me to catch it all. The only advice I could give is to have the fastest fish appear later in the game, as when they appear right at the start (when spawning), they move so quick, they're difficult to avoid (I spawned by them, so torpedoes were out of the question).

Deeper in the Void by LadyMistLeaf 2021-04-29T01:28:53Z

@incd021 - I may or may not have spent too much time on making the characters and stuff and lost time to make other mechanics and sounds... Thank you for playing!

@frank-gevaerts - Thank you for playing! The souls thing was a meager attempt at adding plot. The main character was randomly kidnapped by the underworld leader and his wife for bets out of boredom. They bet on whether or not their prey survives the trip back.

@commanderstitch Thank you! Your comments are always so energetically uplifting no matter how simple my games are lol. The original plan had switches, doors, and eldritch eyes that shoot lethal laser beams, but I didn't have time for those D:

The Bothnia Trench by Milestone Games 2021-05-07T00:06:41Z

Very cool little game! Hope to see a part 2! The music fit the (soon to be I assume) tense atmosphere and oh, the interactables. A hint to so many things that can go wrong... Great job! I really liked the graphics!

LD49 — Unstable

Hikari’s Journey 光の旅 — the umbral world by Junber 2021-10-11T14:42:04Z

This game left me amazed, there was so much to it, so much content for 72 hours, and so much of it was relatable. I loved the minimalistic feel of it, the experience, everything. Wonderful job, I hope to see future LD entries from you guys again!

Dark Forest of Echoes by Tygrak 2021-10-11T15:13:52Z

The last bit of the game was unexpected, but fun! The music throughout the game was also really good, and I loved the animation of the main character, they were so well-drawn! Great entry and I loved the RGB instability in the game.

Anti-Bomb by IcyLava 2021-10-08T14:45:45Z

I really didn't think I would make it to the end, but I stuck it through and made it! Very good little game, the jumping mechanics using bombs was definitely "unstable", but the minimalistic character and animations were very charming and fit well with the music, great job!

penguin.exe by Yngvarr 2021-10-11T15:59:49Z

And this is how Linux gets it's revenge on Windows! Although apparently Windows rebranded as DoggOS. The penguins were adorable, and I love some of the filenames listed on the files the penguins took out, lots of little easter eggs there! The sound effects were also cute and the game was fun to play! Great job!

Flat Earth (Not Another Rude Bear Game) by alexrose 2021-10-06T15:09:49Z

This game is pure chaos, but in a good way! It put such a grin on my face when the enemies started spawning and the music changed accordingly. It starts out sounding calm and happy, and then, well, enemies. The mechanics are pretty good, although hates people like me who tend to select one character at a time XD. It fits the theme perfectly both in terms of physical balance and complete instability of the game world as a whole. Great game, great job!

Train Tilt by mrjoshuamclean 2021-10-08T15:59:21Z

Great little game, especially for being completed in only 9 hours, and for being your first game jam with Godot! The music was really cool (as usual) and the concept fit well with the theme! Great submission!

Improbability Fighter by Wendel Scardua 2021-10-08T15:27:14Z

Great take on the theme, the music was very low but felt like a nice atmospheric touch, I liked the way that the ship kept morphing and it gave me a nice surprise every time I saw a new ship (tetris block FTW! and the tree reminded me of a Jurai ship from Tenchi Muyo, where they always have a gigantic tree in their mothership). Even the lag in the game made me feel nostalgic XD Great job!

King on the Mountain by AndideBob 2021-10-06T16:08:44Z

This is so fun to balance the, well, balance of the castle and the requirements of the various rooms. I will be playing again so I can build the monument and show to all that I am King (Queen?) on the mountain! The game is very fun, the graphics are nice (I enjoy that some rooms have randomized looks) and the music is very cute.

Splintered Skies by TomPendergrass 2021-10-15T14:10:08Z

Nifty little game! When I ended up having only one building left, I thought I could just protect the one and have an infinite score boost. Boy was I wrong! I got catapulted off! Great game! Very solid entry for your first 2D game :)

Office Novice by HermesEs 2021-10-13T13:59:39Z

I love the cute feel to the game, but man, the coworkers are bossy and I love how, when the company stats go down low enough, it switches to heavy music and everyone panics, making it that much more difficult to regain control of the situation. Absolutely love it!

Atomica by Wassim 2021-10-11T15:38:14Z

The music is very nice and, combined with the graphics (I love the simplicity of it, it makes me feel like I am in space, only more colorful, which I LOVE!) gives a nice, relaxing experience even with the boom booms XD Still, I love the concept, and while it is a difficult game (got exploded multiple times and never reached the halfway point in easy mode), I want to play the game over and over again as it is just that much fun! Great game, I love it!

HyperTreading by Frank Gevaerts 2021-10-06T13:42:09Z

I thought I was stuck for a minute, but I hade it back! With a brand new HyperSpace Treadmill (TM) too! Neat little game, loved the puzzles as usual! :)

The Butterfly effect by Shakedimus 2021-10-13T14:34:44Z

The game is a neat concept, I like how you use butterflies to influence the wind, certain ones to aggravate the wind, others to dispel. The butterflies, when selected, I think need a more showy color so we can tell at a quick glance which one is selected (or a bright pulse animation). Otherwise, it was a fun little "Beat your own high score" style game! Great job!

Portal Problems! by LadyMistLeaf 2021-10-05T00:03:03Z

@remco There are no "red herrings" per say, there is a description for every item, but the items "chosen" by the system are randomized for replayability. If you replay the game, they may ask you for different items, or the same items in a different order.

And I forgot to mention that there are actually multiple endings based on how many you got right/wrong! I will go modify the description to include that right now! Although I see you found the good and the bad ending, but did you find the perfect ending? :)

When it comes to sound, I know nothing! My "denoise" was just recording with my phone in my bed curled up under a comforter to stop any echo/other noises. Feeling like a sexy demoness is hard when your knees are almost touching you chin! I just put the audio in the game as is, I used no software to modify it, and I wouldn't know how to.

I didn't know about the spacebar issues, but I encountered issues with the up and down arrow keys. It's why I encouraged players to full screen the game, even though it looks weird, because I could not enjoy my own game if it wasn't :/

Thank you very much for your review!

Portal Problems! by LadyMistLeaf 2021-10-19T01:55:56Z

@denzil-gomes Thanks for playing! The third ending is making exactly one mistake. None is good(?) and 2+ is bad(?)

ŮNSTÅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-11T16:59:22Z

Putting my ability to tetris things to the test! It was fun seeing how high I could go, and I was able to make it to 8 meters, but the game is fun to both build things, and sometimes intentionally destroy things, it's fun to rotate the pieces by swinging them, the graphics were nice and the music was worked well with the game, great game!

Neon Saber by Kaish 2021-10-08T14:17:02Z

I loved this game! (Even though my reflexes are bad) It was funny, adorable and I loved the parody of it all. The graphics were simple but cute, the music was fitting and it all fit very well with the theme. Two thumbs up! Thanks for the entry!

Temple Of Tozi by Denzil Gomes 2021-10-08T13:46:50Z

Great little game, I loved how you incorporated the puzzle and platformer elements, the graphics were very pretty and clearing the game was fun!

Towering Dice by marcmagus 2021-10-08T15:12:08Z

This was a fun twist on the usual game jam format! I have tried and sadly only made it to 4 dice tall, but as you had seen, my dice were a supply of D&D dice which were of slightly different sizes. Also having to "guesstimate" the location of the pips led to some mental confusion XD. Great entry!

Under P'ARRRR by Fear Games 2021-10-06T13:26:55Z

Great little game! The graphics were very neat and the gameplay was a lot of fun! The music at the start was great for the mood of the game. I made it to the end! However it seems that I bugged the game, it seemed... Unstable!!!! XD Great job, I loved this little game!

Feed Me Pizza! by yikescloud 2021-10-11T16:15:32Z

The graphics were on point for the type of game this is, the music was well chosen, the gameplay was a lot of fun, overall a very neat little game, and I liked the not-so-subtle messaging in it XD. Well done!

Ezekiel And The Fake World by Skvader_418 2021-10-13T14:47:59Z

Great little game! I liked the opening of the game to illustrate what was happening to the character. The music was cute and fitting for what was going on. I was able to clear the game, and I enjoyed the different platformer mechanic for each stage. Well done!

Unstable Tricky Table by Pomo 2021-10-06T15:23:43Z

Great interpretation of the theme! The game is a lot of fun! While the graphics are minimalistic, it also appeals to us nostalgic players who love Tetris. Balancing the tower is a lot more difficult than it seems because of the additional pieces (especially the triangles) Great job! Will try for a better spot on that leaderboard.

Boat History by etrealjunior 2021-10-13T15:05:55Z

This is a great little game! I feel it was very polished, the music fit the mood very well and the mechanic was quite unique and fun! Great job!

Unstable government by DmitryGalias 2021-10-11T16:44:16Z

This was one of the most fun games I have played for this LD, however I do have a fondness for farming and capitalism games XD. The graphics were adorable, and the game mechanic put a fun spin on the farming genre, the music was cute and fit well with the game, great entry!

TECHNUCLEAR by TheGreenWorm 2021-10-08T13:34:11Z

Great game, loved that everything was synched to the beat, the music was cool and fit well with the game, I love the way the colors fit well together and everything is very clear at first glance, the gameplay is very fun and fit the theme very well. Great entry!

Snake Using Windows by Benjamin Halko 2021-10-11T14:56:49Z

Good ol' snake game! Always fun to play, but even more so on the background of your choosing! I like the concept that they are literally windows opening on your screen to make the snake and the apples. Neat game!

Un-Stabled by Denhette 2021-10-08T15:42:35Z

The character was a little hard to control, but that was what made the game fun! I also have a tendency to click A LOT, so the poor horse was flung to all corners of the screen, but he still made it out. So much fun to play! The music made it all the more entertaining, thank you for submitting you game!

Road to joy by arya-s 2021-10-11T13:37:37Z

I could play this all day! The tutorial stage was indeed a little too tough, but after that, the stages are just plain fun! I love the way that the classical music has been implemented in the game, and the sprites are absolutely adorable! Great game!

RoughTrain by Dogez 2021-10-13T13:37:04Z

Great job, the experience was very polished for an LD game! I loved hearing the main character sing from time to time, the atmosphere fit the experience very well, the sounds were perfect and I loved the voice acting, and the level design was good for being essentially a runaway train, and forgiving enough for you to be able to find what it wrong and how to fix it in time. Great entry, hope to see more from you guys in the future!

[U]nstable - 235 by GeoBlackrU 2021-10-06T14:47:49Z

The game was very fun, a little confusing at first, but thanks to your help, I got the hang of it! It has quite a few fun mechanics to balance and I look forward to playing again and finally clearing the game!!

Life on Cards by Lumbigui 2021-10-06T14:05:25Z

This is like the Game of Life, but in card form. Also, many destabilizations have forced me to sell my Magic Cards! Great game, it had some entertaining life scenarios!

Ninja Mindness by Jupitern 2021-10-06T15:41:32Z

The graphics were very nice, I loved the background especially, and the enemy ninjas stood out from the scenery, which made it easier to identify at a glance, as all infinite runners should (as it relies on reflexes). I would suggest a quicker sword draw animation with a more defined swing arc to show the player more accurately what it's reach is. I would also suggest working on the randomizer for the enemies as I had one easy, chill run, and others where everything was thrown at me from the get go. Great game, hope to see more from you guys in the future!

Unstable Truth Or Dare by DaivyIsHere 2021-10-13T14:19:03Z

This was a neat little game combining two genres, the music fit the mood very well and the graphics were nice (I really like the lighting effect on the character)The truth or dare had a nice spin to it, I love the creativity in this game. Great job!

CONTROLL by kartiz0l 2021-10-06T13:55:09Z

This is a great little game, loved the retro look of the graphics and the small color palette, the music was very fitting, and HOLY was the game hard! I was not able to finish the game, but I gave it a good shot! Great job, it fit the theme very well!

Diamond in the Rough by ProdigalSon 2022-04-09T15:50:59Z

Neat little game, love the concept, the music was nice and fit the atmosphere, and I managed to beat the game (after getting squished on my first attempt). Great game!

Shades of Deception by AMastryukov 2022-04-09T14:04:14Z

This game was amazing for being done in three days! There was a lot of content packed, and was a lot of fun! I really loved the voiceovers too and the names!

Red Riding Hood by Jiri Hysek 2022-04-09T13:38:22Z

I find that the game was short, but that is only because I loved it so much that I wanted more :) The main character felt very polished and I love that the enemies are represented as shadows in the game. Killing the bad guys felt very satisfying and I loved the stealth mechanic. Very enjoyable game!

The Lars Mission by Honest Dan 2022-04-09T14:34:45Z

HMS Inevitable by Frank Gevaerts 2022-04-09T15:38:56Z

Neat little game! I got stuck a few times but figure it out (with your help) in the end! Thanks for the submission! It was fun!

Francis time by Skvader_418 2022-04-09T15:17:09Z

Neat little game! The game was hard for me, but I still wanted to unlock some of the guns and give it a try! So long as I can kill a few enemies, I can still progress, which I like! Great job!

Day of the Flame - LD 50 by arya-s 2022-04-09T16:01:14Z

The first thing that caught my eye was the flame animation, it is very well made! Nice little platformer game and boss fight! Good job!

Wait For It ! by Forgin Bits 2022-04-09T15:00:15Z

I actually hate the chaos of Wario Ware, but since these minigames revolved around the same theme, it was a lot of fun! I will be on that leaderboard, however briefly, I promise I will!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Day and Night by LadyMistLeaf 2022-10-07T20:45:41Z

@incd021 Thanks! I ended up not streaming on Sunday to focus better

@frib Thanks! And it does say: Because I have issues! Seriously though, I do greatly enjoy coding in Javascript and rolling my own tech. Been doing it for over a year now experimenting with what I can manage to code from scratch.

@arya-s The game is short because I only had half of the platformer base code, the rest I made on the fly  Ah well, By far one of my worst games, but I enjoyed the coding regardless.

@enderr42 As much as I would like to see it pursued further as well (in it's original concept glory), I already have a list of games in my head waiting to be made  Maybe that can be my little in-between project when I need a break from things?

@misha-levin Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed my little project! And as much fun as winning is, I prefer losing. I only have one voice line for winning, but 4 randomized ones for falling off screen

@oda Thank you! Certainly not impressive in terms of graphics, but coding is where I am best at. I did take some code from a previous project, but it is all my own code.

This was a great little game, very fun, adorable and quirky, I loved the art and music! Very well executed!

For The King! by LadyMistLeaf 2023-05-02T19:32:08Z

@incd021 @tudvari Thank you! Yeah, I guess I could have worked on the hit box during submission hour, but wasn't quite sure how to do the band-aid solution real quick without risking breaking the game last minute. Of course, now that it's over, a 5-min fix comes to mind 😅 Ah well!

Also @tudvari, the gnome was just laying on the ground next to you in the ending screen.

Thank you both for playing!
