So cool! I like the collision sounds. And the gameplay challenge is balanced. It's intersting to compete with the author for score.

mahjoub 2021-10-04 02:40

Impressive entry! (As your previous ones )

Gameplay and level design are well thought, with an awesome interactive music: all together create an unique atmosphere.

Again well done, enjoyed it a lot!

fakefirefly 2021-10-04 02:56

I really liked how each level felt like it had its own loop. It's an interesting take on a mini-golf game. The graphics are well done and nice to look at. The music is a bop, and the final level was probably the highlight. I've never seen a boss fight in a game like this.

I do wish there was an option to restart the level in case you miss your first shot.

Overall, an enjoyable experience.

recessive 2021-10-04 08:13

Wow... That was done amazingly, I love Rhythm games and you do environmental rhythm perfectly here! Played the whole way through

owca 2021-10-04 09:34

Very nice game - especially the audio.

2021-10-04 12:41

Nice graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 49 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/d0CZearFG8U

neowhoru 2021-10-04 13:00

really neat gameplay and nice gameplay.

tombuston 2021-10-04 15:05

Nice entry! I liked the diversity of the level design and the way you introduced new mechanics along the way. It was a bit frustrating sometimes to have the mouse blocked at the edge of the screen and therefore do a weak dash. It could be interesting to add an option to "cancel" a shot if the mouse button isn't released.

Audio is the strong part of the game and the integration to the gameplay is very well done.

Good job, thank you for your game!

noeloskar 2021-10-04 19:04

This is VERY cash moni, only thing i would recommend, would be to make the next level transition a bit faster, like it still goes on for a good while after you split atoms, kinda throws the player of the gameplay loop, but it's a VERY minor detail

ildfuglen 2021-10-04 19:12

Really polished, the physics work really well. The graphics are really crisp, and I love how the game is constantly pulsing. I had a lot of fun playing this game, great work.

wormius 2021-10-04 19:18

I really like the idea of making everything dance. Has a really good mood. Great job.

gamepopper 2021-10-04 19:26

This was really fun, the rythem fits really well with the golf mechanics. Took me a while to realise I shouldn't always shoot at full power.

candlesan 2021-10-04 21:23

This game was AWESOME. So well done. I got all the way to 12 and played it multiple times but for some reason when I cleared everything it did not register as a win.

The music is fantastic. Love the extra sounds on the bounces. Love the "green blobs that spawn more stuff" mechanics that was introduced. The pacing of the levels is great. The music is really solid. I love the extra polish you have on things like the rhythm of the bounces, the way the settings button pulses with the music - all of that is just super well done.

justcallmebb 2021-10-04 21:55

Amazing!! There is so much I could gush about this game and its smart design choices, like how bouncing off walls is delayed to line up with the next beat, simultaneously matching the music and making slamming into the wall feel satisfying, or how every new mechanic introduced is done so after the player has had time to get used to the previous ones and are easy to understand on their own, and the music is great, and the aesthetic is really effective despite being super simple... Definitely my favorite game in this jam so far!

luhuchiha 2021-10-04 23:57

Great game! The rhythm and the sounds are very nice! The ball's bounce also seems to add an "action" effect. Good work!

nyles 2021-10-05 07:42

Crazy gameplay. Short, sweet, and to the point. Pulls no punches.

3mpty 2021-10-05 08:18

Huge bop, great song and I love how you kept throwing twists at me even past the tenth level, really fun and I totally got in the zone.

listonos 2021-10-05 12:07

I don't necessarily play many rhythm games but I felt like I was getting better with every level so that speaks volumes. What I enjoyed the most and made me audibly say wow is the slow down effect when hitting things, that is such a cool touch.

The visuals were a little for overtop for my liking. The whole tron/bright scifi palette, blooms and chromatic shifts I can dig and really enjoy but I think making it more subtle would make it look even cooler.

The music was fitting and I found myself shooting to the rhythm which is job well done.

bernard-bumblebutt 2021-10-05 14:36

Wait... you can have a loading screen before the unity logo appears? How?

thegreenworm 2021-10-05 15:28

@bernard-bumblebutt you can customize it in the "Template Data" folder of the webgl build

solah 2021-10-05 17:35

Awesome game! I felt the power of tchnonuclearity!

bootak 2021-10-05 18:07

Wow, this one is really fun to play! So far, my favorite in "Audio" category! But also, it looks amazing and unique, well done!

david-bohan 2021-10-05 18:20

I found this game because of the "Nuclear" word in the title lol. I've been searching for games that used that theme, since we used it for our own game.

Speaking of your game, it's great! Nice graphics and smooth controls. It's a fun, short game, which is perfect for a Gamejam! Nice job, and congrats on getting this completed in time. :v:

kimberly 2021-10-05 20:09

I'm glad to finally have a good example of how to time a game with the beat :D Incredibly well polished game, great music too!

jvdwijk 2021-10-05 23:21

This was such a cool game! Everything fit so well together and it was such a rush trying to complete and try to beat the dev's score

glen-chang 2021-10-06 02:01

Bravo. That was awesome. The synergy of all the game elements was mind blowing. I didn't understand what the red walls were though. I just figured they did bad things. Got to the end without havinging to worry to much about them though.

justinmullin 2021-10-06 02:56

Wow, this is really cool! Very polished, fun to play, and I was impressed by how it kept layering in new features. Couldn't believe there was a final boss too! Excellent work. =)

nebiros 2021-10-06 09:51

That game is awesome ! I just HAD to try it after seeing it on @solah 's stream !

bauke-regnerus 2021-10-06 11:08

First time I rated 5/5 for audio. I loved the 303-ish baseline. The graphics are very smooth and I love the shaders. Polished and the action is fun too. Great job.

mordrick 2021-10-06 13:11

AS I said in the stream yesterday: An awesome game in so many aspects!

Yesterday I completely missed the point, that every action on the screen is not only in sync with the beat but also driven by it. Now I'll checkout the source code to have a look at that beat sync. I guess the objects all have their timers according to the beat. And I really like that even the end of a level waits until the beat is met ^^.

The game is an auditive experience and best of all the port to a mobile device would be super easy. Also, the mechanics and the style are easy enough to make fun levels and have the player grasp the gameplay at once.

Super well done!

Chapeau!

leokrechmer 2021-10-06 13:22

The best LDJ49 game I played so far. Just amazing idea, and lovely appearence! Great. Just great. If anyone will read this, please, PAY ATTENTION TO THE SOUNDS!!! It is VERY important... Just trust me.

caudatecoder 2021-10-06 13:38

Man, that's a game well done! Absolutely enjoyed it!

Great sound track and sound effects. Visuals are very nice too! Just very satisfying to listen and look at it no matter what happens in the game

Pretty nice difficulty progression too! I like how you included your high-score. First three levels I thought you just match player's highscore with yours so the player doesn't feel bad

Nicely done!

sawdust 2021-10-06 15:28

So good! Such attention to detail with the sound track and visuals. Great level design with nice difficulty progression and even including a boss level which was unexpected! High marks all around even without considering the fact that you managed it in under 48 hours. I might just have to replay it to appease my desire for more levels!

alexthehuman2 2021-10-06 17:25

An amazing compo that incorporates the element of sound effects into the music itself making the entire experience very enjoyable. There are a bug, but it can be overlooked because you can actually reselect the stage. You can also cancel midway through your launch by shooting in the opposite direction and if you shoot fast enough, you can kinda generate a beat that's almost unique to your own playstyle.

tricky-fat-cat 2021-10-06 23:07

An impressive compo submission. It's gorgeous, well balanced, and has an incredible soundtrack. Well done!

escapade 2021-10-07 06:17

It's a great game, very polished, super good music but I still don't get how the ball is supposed to be affected by the music... :|

thegreenworm 2021-10-07 06:41

@escapade it bounces to the beat !

6smith 2021-10-08 02:16

came for the game play, stayed for the sound design

best audio of any entry fr

the gameplay was very good too, very polished

theheheo 2021-10-08 09:02

This game is really good. Loved the audio design and the music, it really makes the gameplay super satisfying. Fun puzzles aswell:)

mrschlag2 2021-10-08 09:13

Great game, very nice gameplay and a lot of content ! Like the detail of neutron bouncing on beat to make the music coherent. Thanks !

dj-depressive 2021-10-08 09:40

Fantastic game! I, alike many other, love the music and how timed to the music the game is. I'm a great fan of rythmic games and this one feels immensely satisfying. The diversity of levels and mechanics of this game is insane, I'm thoroughly impressed! Had really fun playing it :)

cinar 2021-10-08 10:18

Wooww!! this game is smooth. Idk if the pauses when you hit the edges are intentional but they feels good. Good job man.

thegreenworm 2021-10-08 10:28

@cinar completely intentionnal, it's so everything syncs up with the beat :)

hermeses 2021-10-08 10:41

Great game! Wished that had more levels! The music fits perfeclty, and I love when the ball makes sounds that accompany the music.

thegreenworm 2021-10-08 10:43

@hermeses stay tuned, I'm currently working on a full release with 100+ levels, new soundtracks and more :D

zahab-aq 2021-10-08 12:42

Amazing! ###

It's very impressive that this was completed within this jam. This was so complete and polished that this could be released as is. So glad to hear that you're working on a full release. Look forward to playing it when it comes out.

**The music was really good!** It seemed very complete for the amount of levels that it is. More variety would have been needed had their been more levels, but you struck just the right balance.

**The game was extremely polished!** I stopped playing it as a jam game to rate, but rather as a fun game to spend my time. I think that should demonstrate how well made it is. The gameplay was juicy, and once you got into the flow, time flew by.

**The boss could have had more predictable colliders.** Due to their shape, it was hard to gauge how you would collide with the boss, making for a more "try again" approach rather than a strategic one. I think that could be improve a little, but that is one of the very few gripes I have with this game.

In conclusion, **good job!**. Well done on making such a complete, polished game in so little time.

ladymistleaf 2021-10-08 13:34

Great game, loved that everything was synched to the beat, the music was cool and fit well with the game, I love the way the colors fit well together and everything is very clear at first glance, the gameplay is very fun and fit the theme very well. Great entry!

2021-10-08 13:39

Nothing better to add other that awesome game!

badpiggy 2021-10-08 13:58

Awesome mechanics and audio. Visuals were nice and simple and the ball flying around was very satisfying. The walls being dangerous at times was a nice touch. There was a good amount of variety in the levels as well for the type of mechanics in play. That second ball was cool as well. My only complaint is that the very nature of the mechanic ends up being a little random at times and hard to really tell where it will go. The boss at the end as cool though. Great job on this overall, was a damn nice collection of mechanics which were executed very well.

betamorfosis 2021-10-08 14:19

Really strong and polished game. Awesome music, and the gameplay feels great, loved it. I also really enjoyed that we can see the dev's score, nice addition :)

justcamh 2021-10-08 14:57

Hey Pierre, thanks for submitting your game to the stream! Was a lot of fun, here's the vod if you'd like to rewatch: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1170760844

kaytrill 2021-10-08 19:53

The polish on this game is top notch. Loved every second of playing. And in the future I would love to see more and interesting level concepts.

trexxak 2021-10-09 01:49

This rocks (or rather raves?)!

I really loved the indirect competition with Pierre (You?) at each Score Screen, making me really care about not wasting too many turns! Everything else has already been said! Thank you for this phenomenal entry! A favourite of mine for sure!

gabriel-chan 2021-10-09 09:19

Crazy fun game. Looks amazing and the sound effects and music make the game even better. Love the level design and the inclusion of Pierre's highscore. All around amazing game

danial-jumagaliyev 2021-10-09 11:56

Another fantastic game from you! I personally really liked the effects in the levels and the UI, this is a very simple yet creative and polished game. The music was pretty catchy too!

xpoho 2021-10-09 13:15

Ядерные процессы, процессы полураспада - мои любимые. Здорово, что можно теперь стабилизировать ядро реактора таким способом. Это настоящий прогресс. Спасибо!

fear-games 2021-10-09 13:39

Very nice game. Really polished. Love the rhythm factor it add an extra level to the game and make it feel really good to play. Great game

bridgeonastick 2021-10-09 14:51

One of the only games I have played in the jam that incorporates the audio so well with the gameplay! It really feels like I am the one making the music as I am shooting my ball. However, because the ball is bouncing along with the beat, it makes it hard to predict where the ball will be going, especially on turning walls. Nonetheless, this game is really good. Awesome job!

jackaljk 2021-10-09 17:05

This feels incredibly polished and good to play! You are clearly a skilled gamedev and obviously put a lot of love into this. My only criticism is that it seems to me the unstable theme is only implemented in the terms you used in the UI :P Regardless this is awesome, bravo!

mhorth 2021-10-09 20:40

How do you keep making such consistently awesome compo entries?! This is great, and I'm glad I checked your past entries to notice you're the guy that did Roots. You're definitely on my list now to check out your games every jam, very well done.

I've got nothing at all to critique on this one, everything is wonderful. Anxiously awaiting further releases. Any chance you'd make a devlog detailing how you can get bounces synced up with the music?

yorsh 2021-10-10 00:19

Nicely polished game, it feels super good to play. The visuals reacting to the music is great and adds a lot to the mood. The use of the theme is a bit on the weak side tho. Also I would add something about what I'm assuming is a post-jam version, it's not super obvious what's up with the different versions atm.

vivianmochi 2021-10-10 03:29

This game feels SO GOOD to play! You did an awesome job making the music-sync work super well! And the level transitions were soo hype! Awesome work :P

castoor 2021-10-11 08:06

Gg amazing game like 6 months ago ! J'ai hâte que tu le sors ! ;) A+++

Probably the best mobile game of LD49! I would definitely play a post-jam version of this game.

And a solo compo game? A masterful achievement! Great work!

gaming-night 2021-10-13 12:46

Very nice! It made me think about the game 140. Apart from that, I particularly liked the fact that you pushed the concept and went further than the basic mechanics. It feels like a complete little game. We even have a final boss!

fractale 2021-10-14 17:12

Great game, I enjoy how the music and the gameplay come together. Best game of the jam men! <3

vimlark 2021-10-15 22:37

Loved it!

Hey Pierre!

omiya-games 2021-10-20 04:26

Full comment:

The presentation of the game is, of course, fantastic. I really like how nearly all movement and animations were to the beat of the music. Controls, of course, was simple enough to quickly understand. And the new mechanics added in provided a nice mix-up to the billards/minigolf formula.

Despite all that, I felt like the beat and music was rather superfluous. Like, in theory, the rhythm of the music is supposed to help the player time their shots to an optimal angle during the rotating levels. Still, I could playthrough all the levels while disregarding this info. I would have liked to see more game mechanics that really encouraged the player to really nail their timing, thus encouraging the use of the music's rhythm. Also, I would have appreciated a longer guiding line that would indicate how the ball would bounce off of walls, so I can make more accurate shots.

xsangyhix 2021-10-21 13:17

Awesome game. Aside from some bugs on level transition it was a complete experience. Keep up the good work.

2023-02-25 00:54

To be sure about the gaming platform where you play, you need to study reviews on it. Although, as far as I know, not all new players do this. Often, it is in articles with reviews that there is all the necessary information that you need to know about a particular gaming platform. For example, here https://polski-sloty.com/kasyna-online-z-muchbetter/ is a variant of such an article that can help many of you. Here you will find useful information about gaming platforms and more.
