An unstable landscape by strong99 2021-10-04T00:22:59Z

Nice to ser someone else that likes drawing ^^. So far I managed to know the names and locationes etc of everyone but when I hit the order Button I always get the Response than an error occured and reloading brings me to a 404 Page. I will try to get a bit further.

Mininum Viable Tower by smilewood 2021-10-04T06:49:26Z

Hey ^^ - Very nice concept!

I'm happy to see a fellow physics juggler here :).

You got me at 3 or 4 levels where I thought I was smart but then everything collapsed because I hadn't watched carefully enough. A super cool approach on the theme and a simple but challenging gameplay. The music makes this an even more whacky game. After all levels the music felt a bit repetitive but that's a minor thing against having music at all :).

Overall a fun approach and a nice casual game!

Bugs encountered

- I could push the score button over and over again and it always summed up the score so I cheated my way to a high score ;) - I could not click the main menu button after the last level. It greyed out but nothing happened.

Kasprzak Saves Us All! (Again) by Phobos001 2021-10-04T08:40:47Z

That silver surfer reference is gold!

I really like your game, but I LOVE the ever expanding background of the last entity, well done! For this short period of time this is a nice little novel and as a fellow artist I really love your hand painted graphics! Did you use the mouse only? Or do you have a graphic tablet?

If I must complain about anything, than it is, that it was to short and I want more of it :). Maybe you could expand it after the jam? Also give it a "Donate if you want" thing on itch so I can give you a dollar for it :)

Keep up the good work!

Unstable Relation by Mathiouza 2021-10-04T08:04:48Z

I had a good laugh!

The main game is well made. First: The twist to switch in to a resident evil feeling third person cleaner after I thought this is a narrative game, was great. The mood of the dark areas and the distance fog is greatly done. I got small resident evil vibes here. I had to laugh when I discovered the ability to roll sideways which was not the least necessary, but that made it even more funny since it was so uber! I especially liked that the bags would jump exactly the distance that I anticipated, so they never jumped into myself with me thinking: "oh common!". And the characters are well made. I loved the wobbling arms in the dialog and the look of the deer partners.

My 5 cents on this game

- Super nice game! Well done in this short 48 hours. - The dialog room was small but the few assets in there underlined the discussion perfectly! - The music could have been even more darker to make that resident evil feeling even stronger. - I'd expected some bags creeping up behind me. That would have been cool. Maybe accompanied by that nice acoustic shocking sound when the bags appear in the camera view :) - The end part of the dialogue could have been 2 or 3 sentences longer, for my taste

Overall: Super super cool!

Ornztarbil by magnusfurcifer 2021-10-03T23:31:06Z

Very neat! I like the simplistic art and I enjoyed the "Uh Oh" levels. The 2nd one was actually quite challenging ^^. This has great potential. Keep it up and inform me if you make more levels ^^.

Garbostackers by Runuchok 2021-10-07T14:15:10Z

Very cool entry, that definitely fits the theme!

It somehow has the feeling of a 2048 game and I really like the voxel graphics.

I was not able to fully understand, what determines if a block could go up to 6 or if not but I managed a pretty good score nonetheless. I would have wished for the rotation of the pusher to be a bit more handy, since I sometimes needed 2 or 3 approaches to get him into the place where I wanted it.

And please! After the jam, add some moody music and some sounds ^^ that would be awesome!

After all a good game and definitely worth playing!

Well, how could I not give that 5 stars ^^. Super well made! I just loved it.

Above the Void by MiltonNH25 2021-10-07T11:03:17Z

Very nice! Made me think hard but eventually I solved it. It has good variety and I really like the levels.

There is very few I could complain about, if any.

improvements :)

The art style of the main char, buttons and the background differ from the style of the fields/ doors/ and the items a bit in that the char and friends are more 3 dimensional while the fields are flat. So if anything, then I would say: try making the fields, key holes and keys a a bit more 3d to have a coherent art style. But that really are high level critics here!

The game is great and I hope I will see more o this :)

Good Job!

Karawan by Rongo Matane 2021-10-07T16:09:33Z

Usually I find games like this in my humble bundle.

This is very well made!

It's a mix of puzzle and strategy game that really rocks! The art style and music is fantastic and the mood and theme are very well met.

The only thing that I find, that could be improved is the style of the info message panels, since it breaks the pixel style a bit. But that really is critic on a high level.

dara.PNG

Very well made! A very polished game, that deserves a high score.

Keep up the good work!

The Train Station Mage by Togis 2021-10-05T22:11:22Z

I really love the effort put into the game ^^. The voice over is surely a thing and the mouth made sounds too ^^. I had fun playing it and it was a lot harder at some points, than it looked. Especially since all those obstacles appear later in the game.

Please tell me what did you use to paint it? Microsoft paint? XD It looks soooo nice!

Thank you for this game!

Deviant by wolderado 2021-10-05T23:24:36Z

Super fun! I like inverse horror games and yours is a great little game too ^^. The only flaws: - as always - it's too short and I missed the sound ^^

I really loved the key indicators, nice feature!

Keep up the good work!

Why Can't I Hold All These Items? by glenugie 2021-10-06T18:19:57Z

This is so addictive! I played it way longer than I had intended. The core gameplay is super simple, yet the loot instincts are on fire and one has to scavenge the city over and over again ^^.

Very nice! Please add more items, and some obstacles or enemies in the city!

I had a lot of fun here and this will get a high mark from me!

Thanks for submitting it!

Ludumium by blaster391 2021-10-06T14:40:01Z

Absolutely great! I had a lot of fun and it lasted long ^^. It was difficult to get everything in time ready but I like a good challenge! This was so much fun, I played it for 30 minutes (and because I was to stupid to get it done faster ^^)

Great game!

More of it!

Going Postal by Delightfullymad 2021-10-04T17:14:18Z

What an experience ^^

That reminded me a lot of games I played back in the 90s from Demo CDs. :)

feedback time!

- very original, sex legged enemies and protagonist ^^ - the game concept is easy enough to understand on the first take, yet it isn't easy to beat the game -> good job - the assets are clean and the graphic style is 90s - did you use a special shader or is this just by textures? - the game gets repetitive - of course - after about 8 waves. Maybe bringing in some fresh items or other turns on the game would make it more fun to play it a longer time. Or even just another "level" (adding a wall or so in the center for example) - controls are done fine - I liked how the enemies were kicking me ^^ ... what else should they do? but it felt very comical and fun

So! All in all a good game for the short time :)

Keep up the good work!

Capitalist Alchemist by Jonas Michael 2021-10-06T13:49:09Z

A nice little game about alchemic combinations.

There's a lot to explore and the effort behind the game can be felt. I would have wished for a slightly better UI without zooming in on the different spaces and some kind of highlighting on the interactive parts for example by placing them bright on the front while the background is a bit more darker).

However it is fun to try out the recipes and the overall gameplay is nice.

Thank you for making this game!

Deepwell Safety Inc. by rock-gong 2021-10-07T11:58:14Z

I love this game!

It reminds me a bit of papers please ^^ and builds around the same principle as [This entry](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/why-cant-i-hold-all-these-items) but with much nicer graphics.

There is a background story, lovely made graphics, a moody sound and a gameplay that seems not sooo challenging until you make your first mistake ^^.

The minor flaws with the UI have been mentioned earlier, so I'll skip that part.

Definitely one of my favorites in this jam! Props to the whole team for making this game!

Aim higher! Make this a full game, and put it in some play store. It will earn you some bucks I bet.

Keep up the good work!

Deepwell Safety Inc. by rock-gong 2021-10-07T11:59:02Z

Oh! And give me at least the chance on itch.io to tip you some dollars for it, please ^^.

Catastrophy by Fis 2021-10-07T09:58:13Z

I couldn't manage to get all kittens safe but it is definitely an experience ^^.

I'd love to have an indicator, showing me where I will land.

Besides that I liked the music, the sounds and the graphic style.

The take on the theme is fresh and the animations are really well done.

Good Job!

Keep it up!

Remote Work by Frozedon 2021-10-06T11:54:45Z

Argh! I'm on vacation right now and that reminded me so much of my regular work ^^.

Nice approach to the theme and it really didn't help me to have about 14 windows open when I started that game ^^.

Love it! Keep up the good work!

Agnosia by Ziamor 2021-10-06T14:52:26Z

Nice idea! I love games like "You are not here" ^^.

Nice little game and nice interpretation of the theme. I liked the graphics although there is a problem with the normals facing the wrong direction on the shelf so you can look through the shelf.

All in all a good entry!

Keep it up!

Harvesting Motherboards by MaxKyckling 2021-10-06T12:52:25Z

Nice game ^^. As a fan of the terminator series this was a nice game to play. and it was challenging too! I liked the dark color palette and the models as well as the level design.

Overall: Good job!

Haywire by Firebelley 2021-10-07T14:42:30Z

Woohoo! What a ride!

I loved every aspect of it and found the game very polished! The idea with the loose canon is great and the background music was supporting the overall feeling of a triggerhappy Texasranger ;)

Please make more levels!

Mint by Préda 2021-10-05T22:39:50Z

This really is a nice piece of art. I love pixel art in general and so I really like your sprites and animations. Also the sound was moody and the story had an interesting resolution. The two control modes were nice, although I needed some seconds to understand the mouse reversal.

My personal taste ...

- I'd love the corridors to have more cool decorative stuff in them carrying your art style

Devil's Sitter by VPhyre 2021-10-06T17:08:05Z

First of all: a nice approach on the topic and neat graphics!

Once I figured out - after some fails - which item was required it was a nice treasure hunt game ^^. The music and sound was good as well as the concept which was unconventional.

And yes, I enjoyed the violence and gore ;)

Good job!

Keep it up!

ŮNSTÅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-06T18:17:57Z

:D The whole grab mechanics remind me of my own game ^^.

The game is addictively cool! Can't stop playing ^^. I thought this is an easy game but it eventually got harder and the urge to beat my own highscore was definitely there.

I love the pixel art and the concept behind the game and the theme is well met.

Good job! Keep it up!

Thanks for submitting this!

WOLFGUN by sodaraptor 2021-10-07T17:53:11Z

The idea is nice and plays well. The graphics are very cool and the zip is super small for a game that colorful ^^.

I experienced a lot of collision issues with enemies, that couldn't walk forward anymore or were thrown around by the physics engine, but that couldn't spoil the fun.

The upgrade system is a plus too and all in all it's a fun game!

Keep it up and thanks for submitting!

PRISM by Gat 2021-10-06T12:06:46Z

Whoa that really overwhelmed me and took its time to be a playable game that doesn't beat me in the first couple of seconds due to the bit confusing UI ^^. But those kind of time management games are always tricky. I do like the art style, though and I will definitely try to reach the end now ^^-

gone. by wafflecomposite 2021-10-03T22:26:23Z

Simple concept but challenging gameplay. Plus: Your code looks way more clean than the code of my vanilla JS games ^^.

Also, some easy features can be implemented: Pickups that slow down time or give you a one time shield.

Very neatly done!

Domi-No-Mercy by squimmy 2021-10-04T07:49:39Z

Hey that is a nice approach on the theme here ^^. Domino soldiers. Also to make it a table top, was a great idea, that worked out pretty well! The little dominos can fall of the table as expected and that was very satisfying.

I love how the shooting is inaccurate, so its not to easy and that buildings can be moved around. Also: seeing even a basic AI is more than I expect from a 48h game. Same goes for the two player mode (although I know its easier to do two players than an even basic AI player). Great stuff!

my personal and critical 5 cents here

- brighter and more rich in contrast colors would make the single items on the table more distinguishable (they are distinguishable but it would be easier with trees/houses and table in more different/ brighter colors) - making the character textures on the dominos in the main menu pixel perfect would be nice, since they blur out a bit - giving the text in the game ("Your Turn" etc. ) a white outline would make it stand out more from the background - it would be cool to have the buildings made out of neutral colored dominos that scatter around as casualties ;). - let me use that canon in game ^^

Super cool idea and very well made! Definitely above the average!

@ratogodoy yes I think its not built in Unity for speed. I might have to tweak the build config a bit and reupload it.

@magnusfurcifer - Thank you ^^

@arash-ghorban Thank you!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-03T23:37:50Z

@z0rly, @doc-kaos : Thank you ^^!

@mathiouza - I couldn't find the right music, that wouldn't distract me from playing a level so I just added some urban ambience sounds with low volume. The transition screens have some seconds. Yeah maybe I should have added some chill music in the s´levels, too.

@fakefirefly - Thank you! Yes, I noticed the "bug" with holding the last piece by hand, but I hadn't time enough to kick it out. It will be out in the refined version later. Although that bug gave me the idea for another game where you have to connect circuits or something like that by hand ^^. And you're right, the weights are a flimsy thing in unity. One times they are to heavy, then they feel like feathers. I'll give that a tweak later, too. And thanks for recognizing the different audios :).

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-04T00:29:09Z

@smilewood - thank you so much! Yes holding the last part is actually a bug but I saw how that could help in the more difficult levels so I left it in (and also the time was running out ^^). And yes the couch is the most complicated but also the most satisfying object so far :)

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-04T06:18:50Z

@myles-doupe XD okay! Maybe that comes from playtesting every level over an over again ^^. I hope you enjoyed it anyways :)

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-04T15:29:32Z

@debone First of all, thank you for taking the time to write a full review ^^ and thanks for the kind words.

Yeah the mouse controll needs a lot more polishing than I had the time to do, as well as the behavior of some objects. I will definitely fix that post mortem.

As for more features: a precision mode sounds great. I also had plans for environmental disturbances such as flying birds, swinging pendulums or conveyor belts and crumbling platforms.

One of the later levels has round stones that act like bowling balls though ^^.

Did I understand you right, that the text in the second level is not really helpfull to get what the game wants from you?

Thanks again!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-04T17:58:32Z

@wuppos @bougiebirdie Thank you both for the reviews and the time you took to try my game.

I will improve the mouse handling and the physics , possibly limiting the radius an item can swing in your hand and even add a precision mode where you can somehow place things more precisely. I think I will make the breaking of objects also optional via a small checkbox so everyone can play it in its own flavor.

I think I can do bug fixing while the voting is on, so I will have a look after the hitboxes, that really should be more accurate in this type of game. I originally had polygon colliders but they were so computational expensive that the while game froze in place. Maybe I will find a way to use the best of both sides.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-05T07:13:10Z

@binaryprinciple, @candlesan, @cabjhegas, @shellofagirl Thank you for your reviews and I'm glad you all had fun! ^^

@c64cosmin Yes in this level you still have to build from the green ground to the top line. I will add a marker in that level to make this more clear. You should be able to restart the level with the restart button, but I heard it isn't working all the time :(

@kora0h Yes the last-item-grab-cheat is a thing I will make configurable by the player. Some seem to like it others not, so best way is to put that into the options menu for the player to decide. The not working restart button is a no-go. I will investigate that immediately and fix it. Thx for reporting.

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-05T17:47:34Z

@tweexmusic - Thank you ^^. Yes I'm still marveling over, how to avoid this constant collider sound thing sometimes. Maybe simply checking the position of the objects and if it hasn't been changed too much, then I will not play anything.

@marchellorobo - Sorry to hear that! I play tested so long, I had no idea about the difficulty of the levels in the end. I implemented it in unity so the physics are mostly done by Unity but the rest is self coded, yes.

@bridgeonastick - yes the placement was mentioned by others before. I definitely have to fix that soon. I think I have to tweak some of the weights and stuff so a tiny chair cannot knock of a couch with a small tip. The restart button is fixed now and I'll upload it any minute now.

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-05T20:19:11Z

@ayced, @yellowkamel, @astropower, @the-lame-brain - First: Thank you all for taking the time and playing!

Yes I just watched @yellowkamel playing my game and this helps a lot to see where the problems are located. After the ratings I will upload a polished version to itch.io where I will adjust the levels a bit so the difficulty curve is not that high ^^. I thought 7 levels are to few but now I see that reaching the 4th or 5th level is way to hard for a short time game, so I will adjust that.

Thanks again!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-05T22:48:29Z

@shubart - yes I will definitely adjust the difficulty after the votings ^^

@shubart & @rainbowdied - Thank you and thank you for playing ^^

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-05T23:31:48Z

@hiisileiri Thank you for that long review and as I see you made it at least to level 6 so thanks for playing so long.

I gladly take your feedback and all the good points that can improve the game. I think I will manage to add most of it to the post jam version. I especially like the idea of the axe and make the start and end zone more clear. I also encountered the problem with some constructions being not recognized as a winning build and I will see to that too since it seems like a bug to me.

Thank you again!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-06T08:35:37Z

@stroe-andrew , @idenoh , @brainloaf-studio , @peachtreeoath

Thank you, and thanks for playing and commenting my game ^^.

Yes highlighting the objects that are connected to the ground or the target is definitely a thing i will add after the jam has ended. To move the menu buttons is another great idea and i will add a level select in the main menu, in case it happens nonetheless.

Thanks again for playing!

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-06T11:14:29Z

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-06T12:54:51Z

@thegreenworm Thank you very much ^^. Someday I might make quality games like you :)

@kypello Thank you, too for playing my game! Yes the holding thing is something I will make optional in a future build so the player can decide if he wants to use that or not, since some players mentioned, they needed that feature. So I think the best way is: let the player decide :)

Piles - Pile it up by Mordrick 2021-10-07T12:19:47Z

@inksun, @preda, @jackaljk, @kuro917, @glenugie Thank you all for your comments and for playing my game!

@glenugie OMG XD. That should definitely not happen, so: Sorry! It seems that the Unity physics engine wanted to give its 5 cents to the unstable theme here ^^. That's honestly the first time I see kinematic elements being affected that strong by other objects ^^. I will investigate that further! thanks for pointing out!

Keep it up! Play and rate more games ^^

Rocky Rhodes and the Cracked Case by Brainloaf Studio 2021-10-05T20:31:20Z

5 stars you insane maniac ^^.

I had sooo much fun here!

So, what makes this a real pleasure is that you managed to surprise me a lot here and as a developer I know that it is more complicated to make ~7 different scenes than just one, what most of the others are doing! This is great stuff!

The zombie shooting was my favorite, that took me sooo by surprise ^^.

Alchemeow by Robert Li 2021-10-06T16:55:32Z

Your art style is really something!

It took me 2 fails to grasp what the game is about because I'm a lazy reader as it seems ^^. What else can I say? The game is based on guessing and randomness which is not bad, but I had preferred that the objects somehow give a hint of what they will create in the end.

Good job!

Thank you for submitting such a beautiful looking game.

MIFFED by Caladrius 2021-10-06T12:03:12Z

That was quite an experience. I do love the good old shooters and this is a great homage to them ^^. I love the videos and the sprites. All in all, fantastic!

Alchemy Courier by Paroxysmal 2021-10-04T17:04:35Z

Yay! I'm the 20th vote ^^

I love those Gameboy like games and all I missed here was a bit of background music (with https://www.beepbox.co/ for example). The theme was okay and the platformer itself was well done. At one point I stuck under the collider of a platform, but that was really only once.

In every other aspect a solid little game.

Well done!

Deathrail by Hotowlgirls 2021-10-07T16:27:00Z

Wow that ended fast!

I really wish for more levels ^^.

I do like the rough style and the music and I had no problems controlling the board. Meanwhile I had fun hopping from rail to rail. I also thought: It would be cool if I would get points for hopping on the rails and doing stunts ^^.

Please make it longer and keep up the good work!

Unstable Isotopes by Recher 2021-10-11T21:18:26Z

Nice little puzzle game.

The random distribution of objects makes it hard sometimes to win, but the chain reaction is a very satisfying thing to watch :)

I like how you use Squarity for your game. I didn't know this before and I'm always happy learning new things :).

Nice graphics and it is fun to play different rounds.

So all in all: good job! Keep it up! And thanks for submitting ^^.

A Curious Case Of Lines by BridgeOnAStick 2021-10-05T18:27:05Z

Marvelous game!

The only issue I encountered where some point where it mixed up some off the colliders of the points so I was dragging one point but another moved.

Besides of that, I loved everything! The concept, the graphics the sound.

Oh and in the beginning I thought I could decide to which point I can move the lines. That would be a cool feature to give the player multiple possible ways in a future version ;)

Overall a 5 stars game.

TECHNUCLEAR by TheGreenWorm 2021-10-06T13:11:40Z

AS I said in the stream yesterday: An awesome game in so many aspects!

Yesterday I completely missed the point, that every action on the screen is not only in sync with the beat but also driven by it. Now I'll checkout the source code to have a look at that beat sync. I guess the objects all have their timers according to the beat. And I really like that even the end of a level waits until the beat is met ^^.

The game is an auditive experience and best of all the port to a mobile device would be super easy. Also, the mechanics and the style are easy enough to make fun levels and have the player grasp the gameplay at once.

Super well done!

Chapeau!

Life Is... by liammasters 2021-10-04T17:23:03Z

I had a look in your source code and given the number of possible texts, there are more than 140ish different endings on this ^^ (maybe less because they are conditional)

The game itself is a bit short and like a good old text adventure. But the questions you asked made me think about myself and that is a huge thing in games, when they involve the player that much. Very good job!

I also liked the music :)

Keep up the good work!

Unstable Genius by Doc Kaos 2021-10-04T07:30:08Z

XD - You're crazy man ^^. Do me a favor and make a 10 minute short film using your acting and voice acting skills :). Your game is a good snapshot of my everyday life and of the LDJAM in general. I had to give it a high score.

Can we see you on twitch or so? You have THAT remarkable face, you know? ^^ I foresee a great career!

Good job man!

Handle With Care by Liss1024 2021-10-07T10:30:05Z

Very well done!

I took me some time to get to the end but it was just hard enough to not completely frustrate me. I love the use of the physics here and the graphics and sound are really nice.

Some levels could use a bit more balance though, or maybe I'm just to bad at this ^^.

I really loved it and it gets overall a high score from me.

Weeellll, I had to look at the source code to assure, I'm not just to stupid to finish the 3rd level ^^. But I see the door would take me back to the first level so I'm happy :)

Nice little platformer! I missed a replay button but the rest has been done well. The graphic is coherent and stylish and for a first game this is great :)

If you ever make more levels, consider adding some vegetables or healthy stuff to give back some health ^^

Keep up the good work!

Pills by shellofagirl 2021-10-05T17:27:09Z

As you mention it: yes the controlls are very smooth! There are a lot of platformers for this topic but a good half, if not more of them have controls that are not so good.

So thumbs up for this too!

High-Rise Havoc by Kyrell 2021-10-05T19:51:10Z

Hey! Nice little platformer!

The unstable part is about the building falling apart and the levels are not too easy. I like the graphics and the sound! And the levels are a bit challenging, too.

Nice work overall.

Hardwork Simulator by cabjhegas 2021-10-05T10:09:38Z

Wow, that is really an innovative game and - at the beginning - a hard one too. I really loved to play it. It's well polished and I didn't miss a thing here.

Sometimes the simple games are the best, eh?

Keep up that good work!

Unstable Adventures of the Space Engineer by Sceef 2021-10-07T10:37:40Z

Clear among us vibes here ;) but that's absolutely okay!

Controlling the mechanic is well done, only the hit boxes of the receiving cable connections could have been a bit bigger to make it feel more smooth. Also the ways between the tasks were quite long sometimes. Maybe a slightly smaller ship would have been better there.

Congrats to the assets you made. The chairs, tables, plants etc. Good job there!

This is a fun little game and I hope you find the time to add some more minigames after the jam :)

Hope that gifs play in here.

I love that it is simple, yet visually attractive. Nice choice on the colors and very well suited for a game jam like this, where most reviewers do not have time to play complex games.

As @ugly-robot said, the health can be inferred by watching the particles.

That is very well done!

@ratogodoy Hmm, lazy as I am i started it directly from the rar. Let me try it when unpacked.

First of all: Good game!

It gave me a hard start but then it got better on the way, since I was learning the tricks ;). I like the sound and the graphics are effective. Easy to learn, hard to master. Well done for this 48h! I like the rough look of the graphics a lot, it reminds me of the old PlayStation games.

My 5 Cents to the game

- Enemies were spawning a bit too close to me for my taste sometimes - Level select in the main menu -> top! - I have the same mouse issue as @butterfly. Even on highest rate it felt a bit slow. - The text in the main menu could stand out a bit from from the background by giving it a bright outline or some hologram sprites under the text :)

Nice game! Keep it up!

(I tipped you a dollar for your efforts ;) )

Nice game!

I really love the beam animation and the particles. Looking around really would be nice, to spice it up a bit. And maybe combine particles by having to press two or 3 buttons at once ^^.

Definitely a game that fits the theme!

Tetromino Stack by Myles Doupe 2021-10-04T06:34:34Z

Nice to see another physics stacker game here! If you have any questions about the Unity2D physics engine or problems with it, odds are I have the same problems or I've overcome them. It was quite a hassle on my side to program it ^^.

To your game

The idea is simple, yet it challenges the player to try and try again, which is always nice. The graphics are basic but suit the game overall. Sound wise I love that you too took the time to add the little clacking sound on collision. That adds a lot! I had to get used to the fact, that the blocks stick to the mouse with one click and are released with a second click at the beginning. But once I got that it was very cool.

My best so far is 16.1!

XD - I literally learned NOTHING from my game :)

The Worm by Debone 2021-10-04T11:13:09Z

I really love the experience!

Even just worming around is a zen like experience and super fun. The missions make things interesting and even the simplistic graphic style fits well.

Overall a very good game!

I saw people adding links to updated versions of their games on the page but telling the people to vote only the original one

which is kind of tricky ^^

Excelently done! Is this really your first entry? Implementing this should have been straight forward but the amount of voice acting as well as the whole script is great. I love you breaking the 3rd wall. I cannot imagine how many outtakes this has produced ^^. It was an experience and props for you to break up the starting concept at some points. Also nice and moody background music.

Very entertaining!

Serious Stanley Parable vibes here :)

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-14T08:54:58Z

Besides the great style of the game and the moody music (plus voice acting), I found the tracks from previous runs very helpful and a super game mechanic. It took me some approaches to find the correct path and some items are placed just out of reach for certain other pathes. Level design is very well. Rocks do not get in the way as soon as you find out how to properly navigate but are a nice element to spice up the map, like the craters and ground textures. Overall well placed assets! Mini map is super simple, yet shows everything. Also the Rover animation is well done, with the square dust and the tracks. Love it. Adding a final item to catch kept me running another 4 tries. All in all I played about 10 to 12 runs. And it took me 5 minutes. Well invested time and your game shows, that it does not need hundrets of procGen levels to make an entertaining game. Also: Nice itch page and the speedrun character adds another level of replayability.

I didn't notice the science bar until after the game in a screenshot ^^. When the "cap" of the science bar dropped to reveal the last item, I saw it flying but didn't knew where it came from and wondered what it was ^^. For me, the mini map was all I needed to track the science items and see that there was a new one.

Great Job!
