@jk5000 Oops, fixed. Thank you very much!
It could be an interesting game, but what keeps me from just making a straight line and going forever? Needs obstacles maybe, old blocks should drop away maybe to make player move. can't see my score.
@mechanizedit Thank you for you feedback! I should have fixed the two problems now :grimacing:
Simple ! But do the job 😎
It's fun. I agree with Mechanized, I think having the old blocks fall would be nice.
@turquoise-moon @mechanizedit Unfortunately i had no time to add more content, i thought that a simple modification of the score system could be sufficient but you are right, with some extra mechanics could be much better, thank you for the suggestions!
Nice game! Simple idea - well executed. I like the smart scoring system that stops giving you score if you just build a straight road. Fun sound effects too!
I ran into a bug, where you can build a square field and basically make yourself unable to place blocks any further (if the last block fell into the center of the square). But maybe it should be like this -- you built a dead-end -- you've got a dead-end
Nice job!
@caudatecoder Thank you! As you said if you build a dead-end you have got a dead end :grimacing:
Fun jam. It was interesting to remove rewards for taking the easy route rather than continually increasing rewards for the hard route, although it felt like a somewhat bigger bonus for changing route would be a better incentive. I maxed out each easy route before maxing out the next route, and so on. I like that it is free form in that way though. Also noticed the red cube disappeared when pointing backwards, which was slightly confusing.
Good use of the theme for a unique but simple idea. Good job!
That's a fun game! It just lacks of obstacles so you can't just draw a diagonal and have a good score effortlessly!
Nice idea! Simple and nonetheless challenging.
@nathant @solah @mordrick Thank you for your feedback! I haven't realized that the red cube disappearing could be confusing but it makes sense.
The game gets dull fast when there's no goals other than getting high scores, maybe adding a winning position could further improve the gameplay experience. The ball movements are a bit hard to adjust because it seems to accelerate fast with little deacceleration. Overall a good game, thanks for the submission!
@bgdc Of course adding a winning position can be interesting, in this case the game could be splitted in more increasingly difficult levels, thank you for your feedback!
Simple yet fun :D
