Man that was so much fun! I had quite a hard time in the beginning getting all that information into my tiny brain, but oh boy it was worth it. I loved the stressful puzzle-part of the gameplay, it was a bit like tetris but instead of limited space I had to keep em alive and well. I loved that my farm would grow and then become smaller because I couldn't manage all the different plants, it really felt alive. At round 17 I thought I was screwed but then I realised that my solarplantthingie (the electricity generating one) was still on so I could continue with the right plan. Super-fun game. Contrary to other criticism I liked that the artstyle made it more difficult to distinguish the plants, I thought that was fun. Good job man, one of the best farm/puzzle-esque LD-games I've played.

That was an amazing experience start to finish, and I will be surprised if you are not the winner of any category. In all seriousness that's a 4.5 on overall, fun & graphics and a 5 on innovation. Here's my reasoning:

Amazing concept. When I first saw this I thought "ahh wow, original, another cook food in 10 seconds sim" Then I realise it's a freaking topdown (kind of topdown), melee combat game that combines the puzzle of cooking, the stress-factor of the time with the tried-and-tested 3rd person combat thingie. I love it. It reminds me of the LD-theme "combine 2 incompatible genres" and I'm really, really impressed.

Then there were the graphics, which were really well-rounded. Good animations, good blends between animations (and trust me I know the struggle of that). AMAZING camera movement (better than many famous games)

I will say I did not play all levels because I'm short on time, but I had a blast playing your game.

I loved the vegetable-gore. Thanks for being awesome

Supercute game! I really loved the graphics. The whole aura of cuteness made for an awesome experience. I can imagine this would be popular among younger kids (because fun music, cute artstyle, fun gameplay and also FARTS). I think you did really well.

If constructive criticism is of your taste I'd say I wish you could jump higher, or could be forced to jump higher. Maybe more platforms and needing more focus on the y-axis.

Also I loved the petting hand in the end. Super cute :)

Really fun game! The art worked really nicely, and it got really suspenseful at times, especially that one level where you had to "run" to the enemy and kill it in order to survive! Didn't notice the bug you mentioned, but in what I'm guessing is the last level (the one with several big ones, and some small) my bullets stopped working once. (but that was very minor, and I'm guessing it's not worth dabbling into!

I think you did a really good job, and I wish you luck on your future projects :)

Really fun game! I loved the chaos, and the idea of fighting each other as you're drifting around in the arena is really fun and really cool. Graphics were also really nice, love the low poly artstyle! It was suuuper cool so see your car fall apart, which I didn't realise was happening until the glass began to break! Really cool!

As for some criticism (if you want to, can also skip this), I think the controls could be improved! If course creating controls for a racing game, especially such a cool racing game with mechanics like these, is really hard. I could definitely see myself spending money on buying this type of game for split-screen with my friends!

If you have the opportunity, please do develop this into a fully-fledged game because it has REAL potential! :D

The audio worked really well, especially since it kind of introduced the next enemy! You may call your graphics "programmer graphics", but they worked really, really well with everything. Especially since it was easy to see what was what and what did what! Also the controls were really good, really intuitive!

Hello! I really liked you game! If you care for feedback then I will jump straight into it and say that the containter-loading part of the game was amazing! You really had to make interesting decisions of whether to place something or to not place something, and whether or not you should stop or if you should greeedily continue! :D I felt that the shipping part could have been better, because it didn't feel intuitive when the ship was gonna crash and I was quite surprised when I lost. I would've loved to see some game mechanics for when you did the actual shipping, like maybe you have to be the captain who controls everything and makes sure u don't tip over or likewise (but of course that's just an idea). I loved the music, it fit perfectly, and the artstyle was nice. Overall I think you did a great game and you did exceptionally well when it came to it's game design :D

Hi! I really liked the artstyle, especially the background, as @ladymistleaf said the contrast between the enemy ninjas and everything else was really good! I was a bit confused at first but it was easy to learn which I think you did a good job of. If you like feedback then I'd have to say that it might've been slightly unbalanced, and what I mean by that is that there was no cooldown with the shurikens, which made it easy to simply spamatttack shurikens, meanwhile the katana was harder to use and had cooldown. But that is only my opinion :) The audio was good, I would've liked some music tho. I think you guys really did a good job!

Very polished and lovely artwork! The audio was really, really good too! The controls took some time to get used to but they were good too. This game is one of the best games I've played from Ludum Dare! It's truly well polished and has very interesting mechanics. The audio could've been more fitting even though it was good, and I felt a bit lost at times, maybe tutorial could've helped? Anyway audio was still good and I got the hang of it fairly quickly. It was really fun in the beginning, but I wish the pace would increase, or that it didn't take longer to get upgrades or whatever. That way the game would've truly felt like an ant colony. All in all; great mechanics, amazing AI, well polished, great graphics, good audio, emersive for the most part, and just a great game!

You made this on your own?! I LOVE IT!!!! I love this! The graphics are amazing, the sound effects are good (although they did overlap sometimes). The gameplay was awesome!

I have a few things to point out: I accidentally got stuck in an enemy spawner, but managed to wiggle my way out again! I flew up in the air once, I have no idea why. Please keep on working on this, and when this has been improved further, contact me! I will play this again! This game was better than many, many games that I've played.

I had a blast.
