Nice game! Maybe some effects would have been perfect.

It was pretty fun overall, and I got the feeling of wanting to try to get lots of power, the shot are a bit too hard to dodge tho.

Very fun game. I like the difficulty, I am replaying every time because I want to try all the powers

had a blast playing, would love a move speed buff to go with the weapon pickups, but I love the idea

bloodyhillz 2022-10-04 19:51

I liked it! ,especially this idea with ability atacks ,that the guy was getting after eating one or another animal. Very good job ;)

Really liked this one. Can't believe you pulled this off in a such a short time period. Great job!

Various mechanics for second spell, A huge bestiary and world that increase the will to discover every kind of spell we can get, hard to understand at first but figure out during many try what is powerfull on the different kind of monster, Great entry, Theme here is not at the center, more than a pretext but the game is fun anyway.

Nice game!

It was a bit hard to understand everything at first but once you get it it's fun! I like the hunger mechanic, it forces you to swap powers so you never stay with the same. I liked how clear the enemies health bar were with both color and visual threshold indication of when they can be eaten.

The map may be a bit too big? I was lost really fast, and with no goals or waypoint I didn't really know what way to explore. Great diversity of "animals" though, that's great!

Thanks for the game, I had fun 👏

Good use of theme. I like how you managed to get in so many variations of enemies and abilities. I was having fun goin around find out what they were. The different climates and procedural generation is very cool. Really reminded me of Don't Starve. I would love to see this expanded upon. Music and sound would be nice. Great job!

Hello the game is fun but I was confused at first because I didn't understand what to do.

I deeply identify with the constant craving for snacks. 10/10

The art is really cute  I love the super hungry expression of the player character :yum: Well done :meat_on_bone:

There's an incredible amount of content here for a jam game! Almost too much, I think focusing the player a little more would really help.

Had a fantastic time playing this game here on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1609528446?t=3h10m40s

YOoooo this game was SOO much fun! I love the main player, he looks so damn cute. I also love how you can go from killing smaller prey to fighting larger monsters. Really cool! Also really cool that you guys managed to add all those awesome different types of weaponry. It was easy to understand, fun to play and overall a really good game. Good job!

Really innovative take on the theme! Definetly a diamond in the rough. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!

Really interesting idea, I enjoyed playing through it (:D)! I only survived 3 minutes my first try, but it was a fun 3 minutes! After understanding how the game worked, I got really good at keeping myself fed and feeding, the only thing that really killed me was the deer (XD)... I liked the way the sprites looked, though I wish you could have made art for the enviornment! I think that would've really up'd the quality of the game as a whole! Super good entry, keep it up!

I like it. The idea of taking the abilities of those you eat is interesting. I want to eat everyone and see their abilities. . It's great that different creatures have their own patterns of behavior. . Damn, deer, I didn't expect such a setup from you!

Hi, I came from the "3 Underrated Games" post!

This game was so cute!! The idea of an oblivious character who only wants to snack while everyone is trying to kill him is so charming, haha. I could totally see this being fleshed out into a whole story arc :) It was also fun going around seeing what different abilities I could get by "eating" other creatures; similar to Kirby in that sense! I found myself going back a few times to see what the different powers would be, haha.

In terms of feedback, I think a little bit more art / sound would've gone a long way! Maybe some character animations, background music; something to make the world feel more engaging. That being said, these are all minor concerns in the grand scheme of things.

Congratulations on making this in 72 hours :) Also if you could rate my game as well, that'd be amazing; any feedback would be much appreciate!

Kind of cool, but it suffers from the fact that my objective is to survive and chicken's egg ability is an easily obtained renewable source of food. I went exploring to discover creatures and try out their abilities, but it was way easier to survive as a chicken than as any fancy enemy. I didn't make it to the volcanic or void biomes from your screenshots, but I think I saw the others.

The on-screen text and UI was pretty small, and I think "eating" has a range that is not visually indicated, but aside from that the mechanics were fairly intuitive.

Hi there!

Amount of art and animals you drew is quite amazing, however for me it was difficult to find out how to play. Encounters (like death or horde) were working as well pretty well, as AI itself. So I had some fun playing around. Nice entry!
