Didn't understand the mechanics (my turrets wouldn't shoot)
@xerxeres As stated by the instructions you needed to place the powerpoles to give power to the turrets. Please do not rate if you don't understand
I think you could animate mines for better indication if they are connected or not (and how fast they are mining). I like the structures design, enemies were distinguishable even with the same color as my base.
Here is my attempt (sorry mic volume is off):

@icxon thank you so much for the video and the feedback! Really glad to see you play and show the user experience. Also good score, that's really impressive!
Wow that game was very very exciting! I enjoyed it a ton, job well done! I would like to see some on screen indicators for different a location under attack. I was able to understand the gameplay just fine but can see where users can be confused the first time playing (especially if they didn't read the instructions before). The instructions on the ground was sorta hard to focus on and read. Perhaps a dialogue box could fix this easily! Also I am not sure if it was implemented but I would have enjoyed a pause feature! Overall, very well executed!
Had fun with it. It was initially a lot easier than I expected, and was feeling unimpressed, and then *the swarm* came in. The graphics and audio are generally pleasing while not drawing too much attention away from the gameplay itself. The gameplay mechanics work well and were generally easy to understand when I looked over the initial tutorial and went through a first run that went horribly, horribly wrong (I failed to the second enemy). I did struggle to tell if power was properly going through my lines or not due to the text overlapping the power lines and generally being the same color, and when it wasn't, it was sometimes difficult to figure out what exactly was the problem. My second playthrough ended when I had a mine and power plant right next to each and powerlines and about 3 turrets connected to it (and these were part of their separate branch so power wasn't getting diverted anywhere else, unless power acts more as a universal resource in the game?), and none of the powerlines were sending power, resulting in that stuff getting destroyed by enemies that proceeded to invade my base.
Despite the confusion, I had a lot of fun with this game. Nice job, overall.
@bryce-campbell thanks for the feedback! It's always great to have something to learn from and discuss before the next jam :D
@proxy-games glad you liked it! Also thanks for the feedback! :D
Extremely cool! Wonderful mix of tower defense and RTS, perfect for this jam. Met the theme super well and everything worked exactly as intended. I'd recommend some audio cues for enemies attacking your buildings and sound effects for placing structures but that's all a level of polish I'm sure you'd get to with more time. Fantastic work!
I too believe that the instructions should be consolidated into a single dialogue box. They would be more readable that way in my opinion. Other than that, once I got all the rules down I really enjoyed playing it :D ( I lasted 6:30 minutes!). The game works very well and for me it fits perfectly with the theme of this jam.
Good job ;)
@pwnofprophecy thanks for playing!
@seniorwombat thanks for playing and thank you for the feedback! 6:30 minutes is really good, well played! :D
I loved how frantic it gets after a few minutes! I'm typically very bad at RTS style games and lose track of what's happening very quickly, but got to 6 mins before my clicky finger and brain couldn't keep up :)

I found myself wanting to zoom out more than the game would allow. But I could see this take on the form of an intense incremental style RTS where as you build out more and more, your placement turns from single structures into clusters of structures, or you'd unlock access to more complex buildables like a forward base that would deploy the mine, power, poles and turrets wherever it could within a given range. That may be pretty cool.
Some off screen feedback would be helpful so you know where to focus attention.
Great job!
I really love the tower defense genre, it feels like i'm playing another RTS entry that i've played before !!
Loved the BGM, the gameplay, the mechanic (especially the power line), the resource management. It's just what i like about the genre, micro managing is just a fun thing to do !! The_Last_Stand_OhykxjOtZw.png
Really cool mix of tower defense and RTS. Nice art style and cool music! I think mines are producing resources a bit too fast (or each next buildings should cost way more). I could rebuild turret immediately after they were destroyed. Anyway, awesome game!
Cool game, reminded me of Total Annihilation in a simplistic way!
For next time, I would recommend uploading a WebGL build on a platform such as itch.io (which is easy using Unity), since that will make more people want to take the time to play your game.
Nice work!
Had fun with this - liked the audio loops and the graphics were nice - some alerts on things being destroyed might be nice (to give me a fighting chance :)) some juice and explosions would be nice too - good entry!
Really fun! I loved the game play and style. Everything felt really nice and well worked! I didn't play forever since I wanted to rate it before time was up, but I could have played for a long time! Only recommendation really would be to add some additional towers/units and make it a little more visible what your materials and power levels are at.
If you, like me, want to start gambling, then you first need to study various information about them. Personally, I liked most of all to study here https://drfun.pl/darmowa-kasa-na-start/ such articles where you can find really a lot of useful information for both new and more experienced players.
