Good use of the 10 seconds! But a little bit too slow, especially a setback on the levels that require a lot of changes. Cute character and graphics! Very Mario Brothers reminiscent.

Fun idea. Game was a little slow though, lots of waiting for walls to disappear. But great work!
I agree that the game is a little slow, but that's largely the theme's fault.
That said, you might be able to make things *feel* a little faster if some of the platforms were moving, or there were moving obstacles... Things only feel as slow as they do because there's nothing to do while waiting for the power to change.
The music loop is great. Establishes a nice chill vibe very quickly -- you should get lots of "Mood" points.
Cool take on the 10 seconds theme! I was thinking about a game with abilities changing every 10 seconds, this is the first one I have seen and it is well implemented. I love the way that the character looks, and the movement feels good while playing. I would have liked to see an indication of how much time was left before something changed, aside from making it feel less like an infinite time while waiting for a wall to move it could have allowed interesting combo attempts like high jump into fast move. Your music was good and did well setting the mood of the puzzles. Maybe a sound effect when the abilities changes would have been nice but the game is great without it. Overall very well done!
I like this take on the theme and I think you executed it really well with the audio and graphics! The puzzles felt satisfying to complete and had a good difficulty curve that increased as I got more familiar with the game. I did initially interpret the 2 side arrows as meaning it would only increase the speed in that direction so I was waiting for left arrows for one of the levels but it didn't take me long to figure out it meant both directions. Awesome job! :)
Same thing about the game being a bit slow but some of the puzzles are quite good with the different portals you can take. The movement feels great, maybe a bit stiff but I think that comes from the fact that the character isn't animated. I don't if it was intended but I really enjoyed the fact that you can "speed run" if you have the timing by waiting for the platform on the right to appear in level 4.
Overall, this is a great game. The mood is just right!
I really enjoyed this. The music made it feel very chill to me. I do agree it was a bit slow, I think maybe if the abilities and level timers were offset by about 5 seconds and there was a timer on screen it would help a little there. I had a good time though and the art was pleasant and went with the chill vibes. Some fun puzzles and that last one was very enjoyable to beat!
8 levels I feel was a great number too. Very well done!
@pinkemma, Thanks! I tried to make it staggered but I didn't have time, thanks for playing! :)
@delightfullymad, Yes, 10 seconds is really long, maybe I had to make changes to the design at the beginning. Thanks for your comment! :)
@pennycook, yes, the truth is that I had a design flaw by having to make the player wait, maybe I shouldn't have adjusted so much to the theme to have a better design, hehe. Thanks for your feedback! ^^
@smilewood, I thought about adding the counters for each state, but it is true that the HUD was very saturated so I removed it. Regarding the SFX I left it for the last, I consider it important but this type of game is not so bad either. I wanted to put SFX but I didn't have time. Thanks for playing! :)
@jaybaus, Thanks for your comment! The truth is that I wanted to do more levels but I did not imagine that in this game it would cost me so much. Level 8 is the one I feel most proud of and I would have liked to add two more to reach ten, but it couldn't be. Thanks for playing! :)
@m4ttu, Yes, I thought just that in level 4, thanks for seeing it. I wanted to add animations but I planned wrong in the Compo. Thanks for your comment! :)
@sarah-alexa, Thank you for your very kind words! And thanks for appreciating level 8! The truth is that it took me more than an hour to do it and that in Compo is a lot. The music I wanted to make it very chill with an instrument but with a good chord progression. Thank you very much for the feedback and for playing! :)
Nice game dude, very interesting mechanics and puzzles hold time enough to be challenging.
@milq yeah I did the compo myself and everything takes a long long time to do! I think 8 is a good number but you could always make some more levels and stuff after the jam!
Fun game just wish there was a timer so I could tell when something was going to change
I'm a big fan of puzzle games and really enjoyed this one. Eight levels is really impressive for the time frame - especially since they seemed to flow on from each other so well increasing in difficulty just the right amount. Really cool look and feel and liked the idea.
Agree with the other commenters waiting the 10 seconds could feel like a slog - especially after figuring out how to do a puzzle. At least the music was chill so it was easy to hang around waiting.
An interesting and fun little puzzle platformer. The gameplay felt a bit slow because of the 10 second rule, but else a good game. I also really liked the music and visuals. Well done.
Nice game! 10 seconds is a bit long to wait sometimes, but still, great ideas here! congrats!
Very cool concept, I love this kind of puzzles. The theme is well used, the idea is great. The graphics are nice, the music is not as long as I would like, but it can be turned off if something happens - for which it is also a big plus
I really liked the game, very interesting idea for the "every 10 seconds" theme. Good job!
Nice relaxing experience, I like that old-school vibe of the game :)
I was adored by your game. It's remarkable and I do enjoy the time. I love the peaceful music because most of the game time is about waiting. I'm fulfilled in your game. It could be a steam game if you continue developing it and probably add some narrative stuff.
Anyway, thank you for making this game.
ps: I read others' comments, and I don't think 10 seconds is too long. In my opinion, the game's mood is waiting.
Loved the concept, but 10 seconds were too many for most parts of the game, in my opinion...
Nice idea for the game but i confess the music was a bit too repetitive so i switched off the sound :cop: Nice execution by the way
Really a nice game. Difficulty ramp was perfect and the puzzles them selves, while simple, felt rewarding. The wait for the world to change was less of a problem in later levels, and overall barely an inconvenience. I feel the first few levels could be build in ways to lessen that feeling simply by adding some platforms to jump through. Music was pleasant although slightly repetitive. Could have used a bit more length in the track with slight variations over the theme. Just a few thoughts  Really solid entry overall!
I like the music. The complete playthrough took me around 12 minutes. I like the concept and the puzzles but disliked the waiting for the right effect if I already knew the solution.
May you could change it so the player can change the current effect somehow or make it a weighted random so the next effect is more often the necessary one than not. You could also shuffle the puzzles around a bit more so the next effect is the needed one if the player makes a _perfect_ run. But maybe I'm just way too impatient.
In level 6 I've gone to the lower "trap-path" twice because the portal switched the second before I went in. Some indication of the upcoming switch or maybe the synchronization of all state changes could help getting a feeling for the remaining time.
it took me very long to figure how to jump over spikes in level 2 beacause i didnt saw the "power" in bottom screen and i didnt know it was doing something. else when i undestand that, its was great ! :)
Every LD I know I'm gonna play a few puzzle platformers, and this is a pretty good one. I do wish that there wasn't so much waiting, although it seems like the only options with this theme are waiting or rushing lol. I like the music, although I'm not sure it fits the game, and it could use some sound effects. Another good change might be to add a visible timer to let the payer know how long it will be until the next event, as I had trouble finding the rhythm.
Solid puzzle game, but once you figure out the solution it becomes a waiting game, with failing at the end being really punishing because you have to do it all over again. Luckily, the levels were not that long that it was frustrating. Fun to play, and the music was nice as well!
Cool game! I wish the change in abilities was highlighted a bit more. The ability changing system was pretty cool, but I noticed there was a lot of dead time when I couldn't really do anything at all.
Very good puzzle platformer! Had fun and finished the game :D
I like puzzle platformers like this! It's great and it made me think about the strategy on how to finish the levels. I had a similar entry from LD49 with the changing abilities so I felt a bit nostalgic XD
The things that I think the game can improve on has been mentioned already. Overall your game was great and wish I could play more levels.
Classic puzzle game for Ludum Dare. Good job. Some thoughts: - I like the classic graphics and the concept - I would like to have a hint on the next change, maybe a list with future changes in the bottom
These puzzles are great but like others have said the 10 second mechanic just made it so you have to wait all the time
It wasn't immediately obvious to me that the speed bonus indicator meant increased speed in all directions because the image is pointing to the right
Really cool game, I loved this concept of switching up your "abilities" or whatever so that you interact with the world differently. Nice job
@geldo-ronie, thanks for your words, I hope you enjoyed!
@sarah-alexa, yes, if I see that there is interest I will do more levels, thanks for your words!
@triangle-point, yes, maybe I should have put an animation or a similar counter so that the player knows when it changes, thanks for your feedback!
@thaprofesional, Thanks for your words, I'm serious, it took me time to design the levels, I didn't imagine it would take so long! thanks for your feedback
@jk5000, thanks for your words, yes, I had to do it a little faster than the ten seconds, thanks for your words!
@bobo-oh yeah I went too far with the ten seconds thing, thanks!
@dfyzet, yes, I have put the music mute because some of us can find it annoying  thanks for your feedback!
@lukas0842, thank you for your words!
@jiri-hysek yes i like old retro games, thanks for your words.
@kevin-du, thanks for your great words, I think the same! It is a quiet game, to play without haste, and I did it like this. But you know what? We live in a world where everything is immediate, people cannot enjoy the experience. Is incredible. Thank you, seriously, thank you very much for those appreciating the game, I really appreciate it. Thanks.
@steffo, thanks for your feedback.
@cooz, yes, that's why I made it mutable, thanks for your feedback.
@m0dsat, yes, I like to make the music louder but I always leave it for the last  At first I really wanted to make the levels simple so that the player learns. Thank you very much for your very detailed comment!
@gagapete, yes, thanks for your words, yes, very few like the fact of waiting! But yes, obviously I am aware of some flaws in the level design (especially in level 6 you mean). Thanks to comments like yours I want to improve in the next game. Thank you for your very detailed comment!
@roroto-sic, yes, perhaps the icons should have been more detailed, thanks for your words!
@quinn-patrick, yes, the sound effects thing is that I didn't have time. And the rhythm yes it is true that I had to put some kind of counter so that the player knew it, thank you for your words!
@bridgeonastick, Yes, the fact of waiting does not like much, thanks for your words, I hope you enjoyed a little while!
@jaykayey yes it should have indicated the change in the different states. Thanks for your feedback!
@yoko-san, thanks for ending it! It means a lot to me! :smiley!
@chingle I'll play then since I like this type of game. Thanks for your words!
@gonzalol, it had to have shown when it was going to change to the next state. Thanks for your feedback!
@ayced yes the icon maybe had to animate it or put a boot on it. I understand you about the ten seconds, thanks for your feedback!
@maxkyckling, yes, maybe he should have put a counter indicating how much is left for him to change. thanks for your words!
Really cool game design. The only thing I wanted to note that I think is a bit "embarrassing" in the game, because of the "ten seconds" thing, sometimes you just can't play, and you have to wait 10 or 20 seconds to get what you need
