That's a super cool game! But still need some time to figure it out!

That's a super cool game! But still need some time to figure it out!
No clue how to play this, because I don't like those card playing games and I've got no time or concentration to figure it out, but the graphics are pretty nice. A real logo would would have been good.
Amazing concept. Had a lot of fun playing it. The art works well. Feel like a lot of work went into this game. Might need a tutorial. Really hope this gets made into a full game.
One of my favorite in this jam. The concept is fun and mechanics solid. This game definitely has a lot of potential. Looking forward to a complete release!
Took some time to figure out, but its a really cool game once you do. Good job!
Interesting take on the theme, though a bit chaotic a times (thank you, pause button). I appreciate the up front notes about AI art and I personally think edited AI art should be allowed so bravo to the person in charge of composition; the elements were well laid out.
@langotriel Thanks for your kind words. We actually implement the "pause button" in the last hour because we notice the game neither has a tutorial nor gives players enough time to learn cards and mechanisms. A "pause button" would be the quickest way to achieve that in time.
Had some trouble understanding it at first but after that it was quite fun! (:
I love it and the pause button helped a lot. It is really fun! Do the enemies signal how much damage they will do?
Superfun game! I loved trying to combine different types of cards to attack properly. Good graphics and sound too. Good job! :)
@enad96 Thanks, we were planning to add this feature but running out of time to do it at last.
I think this suffered from the theme more than it was helped by it. That is, if I didn't have a time limit to choose cards I could really sink into the complexity presented in this otherwise very solid strategy game. Great job!
wow, excellent game, i played way more than i'd expect! the idea is super clever, and the game works perfectly! maybe some visual effects feedbacks for enemies hit or buffs would be a nice addition, but keeping in mind that it is a jam game, it's overall super good! (if we could pause/play with space button that'd be cool too instead of clicking on the up right button, i think, because at least at first i used a lot the pause button in order to think)
I think this is one of the few games where the art style and music work together pretty well to inforce the idea of the game, reall like the UX of the game and how the game is made out of many small mechanics that are well combined together.
a bit of critisism:
I think the game is quite hard to understand even after checking the help text, I appreciate the pause menu which allowed me to catch up and read a bit but I which the help text was done better, also the settings button's icon is confusing lol I though it was something to do with multiplayer or something
great work with the game, i had fun!
@bangkerpow Thank you for the comment. We feel the same that that time is kind of too short, especially for players in a game jam who are all first-time trying it. We might make a new "hardcore" mode that bans players to use the "Pause button", like a bullet mode in Chess. And remove time limit in normal mode.
Congratulations on the game, I love these games but I'm really bad, I usually watch more than play lol, beautiful graphics, it's very challenging and fun, a big hug.
Nice to see another timeline-based game around :D The general idea obviously resonated with me, though it was a bit rough around the edges in terms of UI. Personally I'd also prefer if the timeline reset and autopaused the moment new enemeies appear, so that you're not stuck with your leftover plan that doesn't really apply anymore.
Some really cool ideas and nice concepts there! Really nice job!
