Nice to play, funny and reminded me of old browser games.

Nice to play, funny and reminded me of old browser games.
This is actually a really good game. It has the perfect amount of simplicity / minimalism and challenge. The Art (visually and musically) is nice and coherent.
I like the idea but find it a bit confusing with the bugs
The spacing between some fires could be a bit bigger so you can pass throu more easily without getting hurt
Funny to play, could be a little bit more challenging but still you try to discover the area and start to forget about the yellow part until its almost dead and you try somehow to rush back so it was a good idea to not include some sort of sprinting, makes it a little more stressfull :)
Man this game is a lot of fun to play. Really like the hotline miami vibe and the music I mean it's russian hardbas... it's perfect for a game like this. I have to admit I played a few times. Keep it up like this
I liked the game. I think the updates realy helped it feel more polished but still the actual "raw" version was interesting. The techtree is nice and makes it an tactical game. We actually also made a save the nature themed game but a tree was the main focus. It is funny to see how different but also similar ideas were developed. Keep it up, nice to see the game being updated!
Funny how you can carry a lot of boxes and just before you finish the waves getting worse and almost every single box is lost only after a fraction of a second
Nice little Game. Really like the low poly art and ambience.
A fun little game to play, I liked the music and the idea of "summoning" cacti. It feels well polished!
Spinn it :D
Just like old arcades.
first of all thank you for sharing your game i do like the reddish art My feedback for you would be to make the goal more obvious. For me it was a bit unclear even thoug you made a tutorial (it kind of stucked for me at "press e" and never showed me anything else to do?)
@ynk @jimmothysanchez Thank you for your reply. We planned making it a bit more intuitive or introduce the different elements with a tutorial but sadly the time was to short
@fabula-rasa Oh no I hope your cat will survive this! You really should not microwave this. For the corn part, if you collect 10 corn you can shoot a grenade with e. This comes in handy when being at higher waves, but watch out to leave some corn to plant... Definitely going to check out yours then
@marcusnystrand Glad you liked it
@ponypen @marlo Thank you for the information, we will try updating this
@jupiter-hadley Thanks for playing and reviewing it in your video :)
I think the music could be a little bit less white noisy and repetitive. Furthermore I would recommend a visual feedback for the projectiles as it feels unfinished and it's important in games to have and feel causality.
Now I want a bagel :( Nice idea but could not get what to do with the dough
The character feels very soft :D
Epic intro! Really liked the artwork on that but I think you could add subtitles to better follow the plot and make it a bit shorter? Nevertheless a very cinematic beginning, I like that.
The gameplay itself was a bit strange because the boss didn't do musch and the "crowd" wasn't really challanging?
But the music was great also liked the artwork alot (especially the intro and towers on the hill).
One quick "bug" i found was a missing or wrong placed collider on the left to the temple / boss, I was able to go outside the map, see the image below.
bug.PNG
Still I liked it, keep it up
Yea kind of played it for a while. Very nice. If you die you should just restart instead of rewinding (frustrating to wait instead of immediately restart).
Sadly I was killed after the cut scene :(
Was fun playing it, I think the music sounds a bit to compressed and unbalanced for me personally. And also when ich picked up a new weapon it did not switch like described but rather appeared as second weapon and I had no idea how to select it. But still liked the idea
It's a bit hard to understand i guess?
It looks nice, the radio music is very chill and the setting / story is funny. But sadly I did not get what to do unless thats it, you can't escape the loop because you are stuck then jokes on you .. :D But maybe some tips would clarify? Still liked it somehow
Its fun to play, not to hard not to easy. Good job
@zoranster Thanks for the feedback. For the gameplay part: you have to solve multiple quests to be able to fully fight the boss. After every quest you will be transportet to the fight. After loosing you can make other quests to gather more "power".
@lerpish hey thanks. Really appreciate your honest feedback. I do agree with the point of guiding the player or making things more clear. We had plans for that but do to bad time management we did not achieved it. We will definitely make a post jam version, let me know if your interested so I can message you up
@conneli The t-pose would make a great dialog line really laught on that idea :D Rumors say she's still doing it.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. Seems like you did everything correctly. It's not that obvious but in the beginning the boss does have some sort of resistance. By doing more quests you collect more items making the boss more beatable.
@wolfier Thanks for your detailed feedback. The drop item part would definitely be nice to have but the system we set up at the beginning "restricted" to solve a quest you begun, but maybe the post jamb will be different. Could you extend uppon why you think the graphics are rough? Really would like to improve my art-style, maby to less detail? even though I tried making a more clean look
@wolfier Thanks for replying :)
@etrealjunior thanks for you kind feedback. Glad you liked it. The Touryst looks great thank you for letting us know of that I bet we can use this as further inspiration and we will try to improve the character animation speed
@amkingtrp we have plans on doing so ("The art behind") and write a little about making the graphics / animation and sounds If you like I can tagg you there
@deathstorm Thanks for your feedback
Just a little tip for the webpage, try to use less agressive colors for the background. Maby try something like this? Unbenannt.PNG
For the gameplay. I like how you implemented conveyor belts, make sure to hide this game from "Let's Game It Out" :D
Maby give more feedback to why you can't place items (like you need more of x ... )
Interesting game. Like the minimalistic look. But its a bit easy to get lost
I'm not sure if I missed something but after dying is there a way to restart without reloading the page? Nevertheless was fun to play, music was a bit repetitive but hey at least you managed to implement music.
I really like the atmosphere and the visuals. Good job
Nice little game. Maby the arms could start to move faster when jumping
So as promised here is my feedback:
I liked the website, its very pleasant for the eyes. And the graphics are nicely done. Great job on that. The slightly damaged environment gave me a nice feeling, somehow like this place was abandoned and the little robot kind of thing was left behind booting up years later.
For the actual gameplay, I enjoyed the idea of getting back from where you came from by solving puzzles throughout looping around. I have a computer science background so I liked the binary kind of logic puzzles a lot.
Now for the improvements:
As some already mentioned, it could use music. Even a really basic track would be nice. I know it's not easy for everyone especially with limited time and people. But music is such a important aspect a lot of jammers underestimate. But I was happy with the effect sounds (and youtube playing music in the back :D)
One little thing:
It would be nice to have the ability to go to the next loop by pressing a key like enter instead of using the mouse (just something little, because at the beginning I thought it would be keyboard only and I think it breaks the flow a bit but thats just personal flavor :D).I also noticed after hovering the mouse away from the gameview, the focus occasionally went outside the game, so inputs would be ignored until I moved back my mouse (not sure if it might be a browser type of thing, I used firefox)
All in all a very nice little game to play, feels very polished (despite the missing music) Great first attempt
Nice, little game. Maby the start sensitivity could be less and the integration with the shop could be a little better (open shop on key not by moving, make the sell inv button more recognizable as a button, I searched for it a bit) still very chill mood :)
Fun little game :) Could use some audio but for the short amount its good. I liked the graphics, good job.
I wish you good luck for the rating.
Hey nice little entry, the music was chill and the idea with the keys is good but I think they could need some feedback for the player. As for now it feels like nothing changes when pressing or holding the buttons.
Nice little entry. I liked the parallax effect. Good job
Cool idea and a nice way to make a puzzle game. Suez Canal ... why does this keep happening? :D
A bit confusing on what to actually do but still feels nice. I liked the little melody
It was fun to play :) The music gets more intense the more you miss. This really helps with feeling out of control. In the end, when you manage to build a good tower, you really feel like you can't stop, but only just watch it grow. Nice little entry.
Oh man I actually managed to find the solutions but I did not throw the skin in the right place. Still a cool entry. It was fun playing something different from the usual.
@ines-brezavscek Oh, that's definitely not how it's supposed to look. Well I mean you should get some sort of distortion if you don't decontaminate yourself, but not like this. Can you tell us which browser you are using? Maybe it's a WebGL-graphic error and have you tried refreshing the page?
Nice implementaion of tower defense. Nothing to complex nothing to simple. As already said, good idea with the costs. For me the price-performance ratio was not perfect, I think the Triple-Shot tower surpasses the other two in regard of price and damage (time). But might just be a feeling... A fast forward button could make it a little bit more interesting. Still, it was fun to play.
Nice little entry. As people have said, the number is increasing fairly quickly over time, but it should be inevitable, so I guess right on topic  As a recommendation, try to add some variety visually and sound (just little differences to make it feel less copy pasteish), the different cards are well chosen, but sometimes I got a lot of shields, even though I was fully protected and there were no zombies around, maybe that's what causes it big rise in zombie count...
Nevertheless enjoyed it.
I wasn't sure at first about putting the water in the cave, but on my second try I figured it out. Nice little entry
I like the way the shots are in sync with the beat and the simple design. I guess I won't be able to get to that first spot...(@zubspace)
@figadei thank you. Glad you like it
@zyrconium Thank you for your feedback. We're considering porting this to a mobile app store and that type of guidance is definitely being considered.
I like the simple design of the tiles. It was a bit confusing in the first round as I didn't really understand how to play. I almost won on my second try, but unfortunately the game crashed. I wish I could tell you why, but maybe it's just the newly embedded system.
Keep it up :)
Cool little game. The visuals are nice. For my personal preference, the arms could be a bit lower to offer more visibility. Otherwise: I am now considering returning every shopping cart from now on....
