Haha, looks like we made almost exactly the same game. Well done though, I love that the menus are navigated by typing too.

Very satisfying to play! The menu navigation is clever, and the music is great :) I was able to get 104 on medium and 54 on hard
This is super satisfying to play. I initially was just typing the words but once I got into trouble I started trying to prioritize the words that would most harm my tetris tower. Great game!
It was fun to play :) The music gets more intense the more you miss. This really helps with feeling out of control. In the end, when you manage to build a good tower, you really feel like you can't stop, but only just watch it grow. Nice little entry.
Fantastic game and insanely well polished for a 48h game! Some things that stood out: - The typing menus are cool - The tetris mechanic when things hit was not what I was expecting but also 10x better than the instant game over I expected! - Awesome music.
Curious where you got your word lists from? There was an impressive number of works and lots of uncommon ones which made the game much more engaging.
Really crisp interface and appearance, works well. Having to type out the menu options is a funny little mechanic. The music ramping up in volume as you get closer to the top is a nice touch! Good stuff.
Wordle Teaches Typing
Nice job, it was fun for a bit and the music was great. I really liked that the menu navigation was done through typing as well. Although the main menu saying play instead of medium when it explicitly said Easy and Hard kind of threw me off. Also, I have no idea how this fits into the theme if I'm being honest, but great job regardless.
Simple idea but the UX is really cool, I particularly love the really original idea for the menu and the music increasing.
That menu is awesome, neat idea, topical and fits well with the theme. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it's the best LD50 typing game I've played so far.
Nice typing game it's reminded me that I suck a typing x) but it was still very pleasant and rewarding to complete words :)
As mentioned by others it's a very clever menu navigation really fitting the game !
Loved it. Simple idea, surprisingly fun. The audio was perfect!
Potentially could have done with some variation but all in all a great entry.
Wow simple yet great! I managed 82 words and level 27. Once I failed the first time I started failing a lot hahah :joy: I cannot handle the pressure :joy: The sound intensity increasing as you lost was a really nice touch, the tetris like idea was also pretty interesting and everything ran super smooth! Great job
A simple concept but really well executed, I had a lot of fun! I got to 93 words / level 29 on medium.
I liked how the individual letters fell out after completing a word, that was a nice detail. But by far what I liked the most was the dynamic music. It really took the experience to a whole other level. Nicely done!
Interesting take on the Worlde-like. I do think it's more of a traditional typing game and that the Wordle-like elements could've been a bit more prominent, but overall it was a fun and smooth experience.
Solid entry. It taught me how to type this
A fun little typing game! I really liked how the music built with the tension. The presentation was very clean, with a few nice bits of polish. I would have liked more feedback when I typed something wrong, I think. Otherwise a very fun little time killer! ld50type.PNG
Very cool, this game has potential. Maybe it could use some variation (starting with short/common words and getting more complex over time, maybe?)
Very polished-feeling game. Controlling the menu by typing is awesome. Very present feeling of inevitability. Loved the clear feedback of highlighting letters when typing words correctly, and the animated falling letters is very satisfying. Also clever use of tetris mechanics to up the difficulty every time you miss a word. Could have maybe used some sound effects when typing a recognized mid-word letter or when a word is cancelled by a mistype, I feel like that would have both added a bit more juice and made it easier for players to correct for their mistakes.
