It felt like I was really in prison
The music kinda clashes with Bullet Hell Gem Wizard, but I liked it.
The intro is so long, like, longer than it took to collect all the data. It was fun though! I didn't take the data back after I collected it all because I didn't know where to go so I just launched myself into deep space. My top speed was like 216 by the time I died.
Black screen on Firefox :(
Love the gameboy aesthetic. Solid little farming game prototype.
I had a bunch of money, and only like 8 turns left until next payment, but no indication of how much money I needed. I rolled the dice and bought some more seeds but I was short when the payment came out so I lost. Some indication on what your upcoming payment is would help a lot with deciding whether to buy or just wait out the rest of the period.
I burned to death repeatedly. 10/10
Hooooo boy you weren't kidding about the lag in the HTML version. Cool concept though, would be interesting to see other mechanics in the mix, or other fluids to interact with the lava.
I was just madly click the whole time. I couldn't tell why sometimes it made a few green squares, sometimes it made many green squares, and most of the time it did nothing. Great atmosphere though, I liked the ambient music and sound effects.
The UI kept bugging out on me and becoming unresponsive. Like I'd click to assign a target, and it would, but the dialog box would only partially fade out, then nothing else could be clicked and the build menu was unresponsive. Running in Firefox.
Anyway! Super ambitious, looks beautiful, wish I could play more of it.
Stoner Ferris ate all my food.
It played really slowly with no indication if it's doing anything, which was kind of annoying. Otherwise I could definitely see the bones of your idea here and it fit the theme well!
Solid. Looks great and plays well. I found myself wishing for pathfinding that avoided the rocks so I didn't need to micro-manage the movement, but I guess that's part of the challenge too, otherwise there's no need to slow down in rocky terrain. I wasn't entirely sure what was happening the first time I picked up a human and it popped me inside the rover, but still managed to repair my stuff and keep playing lol. I enjoyed it.
Not a lot of gameplay to speak of, but I loved the music and the character is very expressive. I also just kinda let go of the controls after a while and stopped delaying the inevitable.
Interesting twist on chess! Had fun with it. Great models and solid mechanics, I liked having to think a bit ahead to try to make sure my pieces wouldn't just take eachother out.
How maek babby worm?
In all honesty, solid first entry. It felt bleak, and especially dark because the inevitable is... a dead baby. But I enjoyed that.
Fun! Reminds me of playing Black & White as an evil deity.
Cool concept, Enjoyed the retro vibes. It felt like playing a minimalist, stripped down RPG, which it was! I did manage to hang the game during exploration, I think by pressing enter while exploring (like when it says "Going explore... 10 minutes passed" but before you find loot or a monster or whatever). It popped up the "continue exploring" dialog but wouldn't respond to any key presses. I couldn't reproduce the bug a second time though, so who knows.
That synth riff spoke to me.
It told me I was worthless.
The inevitable march of time consumes us all.
I could only make it 3 days. This definitely felt inevitable lol.
The turrets, they are so so weak, even with the mud to slow the enemies down and rocks to block their path I wasn't able to build up any extra cash flow, just continuously pop down more turrets.
I didn't read the instructions and immediately figured it out the goal and how to go about achieving it, so kudos on making things intuitive. I was missing like, a third of the screen on the right and bottom for some reason, so it was impossible to redirect some of the trains, but otherwise it was great!
Fun! It felt like I could never do anything fast enough, which I guess is kind of the point? Anyway, I have some name suggestions:
Guy at the Office Who Won't Leave You Alone Simulator 2022
Brian from Accounting
Middle Management For Dummies
Pre-Pandemic, Post-Lunch
Who's The Boss (Not you)
I did not understand how to do any of the puzzles except the first one lol. Great job on the aesthetics, though, and it worked well with the theme!
